21/02/2026: I don't know what to say... the restaurant is in the small square of Staffa and is elegant yet rustic, reflecting its location. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the dishes are a journey of flavors, everything homemade, absolutely everything, and the prices reflect the quality of the dishes. Meat, fish, vegetables, pasta... everything perfect. Highly recommended in every way.

17/09/2025: Great views of the Borromean islands. Comfortable chairs. Friendly, helpful service. Surprisingly good selection of good draught beer: Spaten from Munich, Leffe from Belgium. A stone's throw away from the jetty where you can travel by boat to the islands, Verbania and Stresa.

10/09/2025: Unfortunately, we drove there for nothing, as the opening hours stated that it was open from 9:00 a.m. to midnight. But unfortunately, we found ourselves in front of locked doors and shutters.

The restaurant stands out for its attention to detail, and the cuisine clearly demonstrates a quest for balance. Finally, the prices are definitely commensurate with the quality of the food.

16/02/2026: We went out for dinner on a Sunday evening as a group of three, and it was good but not outstanding. Around €160 was a bit steep. The waiter was friendly but not professional, and the owner was rather underdressed in jeans and not particularly friendly either. The food seemed pre-prepared, which I don't expect at this price point. The antipasti was plentiful and tasty, but the main course with marinated raw prawns took some getting used to. You don't want to eat a large quantity of raw prawns as a main course. The dessert was definitely not a highlight and was just standard fare. I did appreciate the connection to the Valle d'Ossola. There were subtle references to the lake and the mountains in the menu.

21/09/2025: Clothes don't make the man! We booked a random place for lunch during a motorcycle tour! The trattoria is dated, but well-kept and CLEAN! Tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms is fantastic, and the porchetta that Mr. Vinicio decided to bring as an appetizer, paired with a nice house Barbera, is equally as good. And don't forget the homemade crostata... A family-friendly atmosphere at a fair price! Highly recommended!

19/09/2025: I had lunch at this restaurant in June with my brothers and... what can I say? We had a fantastic time. The lunch was excellent, the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back. The owners are truly special people.

16/03/2026: We visited this restaurant on our way back from a short trip: the kitchen was practically always open (it was almost 3:00 PM) and tables were always available, including Sundays. Parking was always available, the atmosphere was large, spacious, informal, well-maintained, and spotlessly clean. Attention to detail and customer service were top priority. Zero waits, extremely friendly staff, and impeccable service throughout. Very good food, excellent preparation and presentation, well-set tables that left plenty of room without feeling crowded. Highly recommended!

The portions are small, which is ideal for trying many different varieties. The service is fast and friendly, and the price-performance ratio is absolutely fair. There's also parking right on site. It's best to reserve in advance, as it fills up quickly!

This venue is ideal for events in general; it's beautiful inside and outside, and there's also a lovely green area. We opted for the good pizza, but I can't comment on the food.
