10/12/2025: We had a wonderful meal, an exceptional risotto. When you enter the restaurant, your first impression is "oh my, where have I ended up?" You go up and sit in a well-kept, slightly retro place with old-fashioned tavern-style tables. You sit down, and a very kind lady arrives, who, in my opinion, you wouldn't expect to be so professional yet so informal, and she explains everything to you. You order, and shortly after, just enough time for a little chat, the dish arrives. I'd say the portion is generous, requiring nothing more than dessert and coffee, but such a good one, I rarely have these memories. Well done.

23/07/2026: Excellent lunch. We grabbed some food, sliced it, and they brought us four different types of pickles. Then we chose polenta and braised meat (exquisite, to say the least). Snails and tripe. Excellent service, friendly and helpful staff. The refuge has a spectacular view. And if you're feeling a little heavy after lunch... there are loungers on the lawn where you can relax, with a wonderful view of the mountains.
13/06/2026: A rustic atmosphere, simple yet excellent cuisine, and views of the surrounding mountains. Enjoy delicious snacks and a relaxing break on warm, sunny days.

Thank You, Chief Simone for the flavor, consistency and delicacy of pretty much all the food. The vitello tonnato was fantastic. Also the spinach gnocchi had a particularly organic and grassy flavor which is hard to find.
Very good experience by the lake. Breezy and calm. We enjoyed our lunch and can responsibly recommend this restaurant m!

14/02/2026: We spontaneously stopped here for a quick breakfast while passing through and were truly delighted. The paninis were freshly made and absolutely delicious, and the coffee was excellent. We'd especially like to commend the very friendly owners. You immediately feel welcome. We can wholeheartedly recommend this place.

09/10/2025: Very fair prices, friendly service, and delicious, typical Italian dishes like homemade lasagna, gnocchi with buffalo mozzarella, and pizza. There's also a small children's menu. The outdoor area is huge. I'm pleasantly surprised!
27/09/2025: We were here on our first evening and had a great pizza. Four days later, we came back, and what we ate today was also very, very delicious, but we found the very friendly service particularly worth mentioning.

12/05/2026: We had an exquisite meal at La Volpe. As a discerning diner and connoisseur, this restaurant exceeded my expectations. We were warmly welcomed in an interior that exudes a warm allure. The staff had a genuine smile for everyone all evening and were constantly very attentive. The appetizers melted in our mouths with freshness. The fried and grilled fish and shellfish had a good bite and full flavor. The wine was not the most expensive on the menu, but of equally good quality. A delightful evening. We were spoiled and felt very special as guests. The restaurant surprised us greatly.

30/06/2026: I wanted to share one of my favorite gastronomic experiences in Stresa. I went to GRANODURO with a group of friends, one of the best restaurants in the area. I recommend it to everyone. The pizza is truly delicious, soft, and tasty, with top-quality, high-end ingredients.
