02/11/2025: Charming hotel. Idyllic rooms with many thoughtful details. Excellent service from the staff. A superb selection at the breakfast buffet. The entire hotel has a special charm. Parking available. Quiet surroundings. Highly recommended for those who appreciate a rustic atmosphere.

29/10/2025: A small, charming, and lovely hotel in a very central location. The interior is decorated in a variety of colors and beautifully renovated. The breakfast room was inviting, and the food was very good and plentiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had three wonderful days.

04/10/2025: Very delicious ice cream, which is also quite affordable. I had my best pistachio ice cream there so far, and the coffee ice cream also lives up to its name. The service was very friendly, despite my minimal Italian skills.

10/12/2025: The pierced barista in the morning makes the best cappuccinos in the world, with lots of foam, and she's a whiz. She's also very kind. It's a shame the croissants are gone in a flash, given how crowded they are!

08/11/2025: I had pistachio and caramel gelato! I ordered a piccolo, and the first flavor I ordered was on the bottom, so it was larger, while the second flavor was on top, so it was smaller, so it's best to say which one you want more of first. I personally preferred the caramel, but my sister said she wanted the pistachio. Both were very smooth, creamy, and delicious. They were hands down some of the best gelato I've ever had. I almost wanted another one.

23/10/2025: Most bizarre place. I tend not to give negative reviews so will give a short but, in my view, fair assessment. The rooms are clean but that’s about it. The location is uphill and not very easy to find. The rooms are very basic and decor is highly questionable. Painted tiles on the floor and metal doors don’t add to the warmth of the place. We didn’t feel at ease there. Seems like a place from a horror movie, if I am honest (it may just us). The host was alright but not too friendly, at least to us. We had dinner there and the menu was surprisingly expensive for what you get. I didn’t realise it was a bit of a fine dining (but for that the place needs to work on ambience and at least have tablecloths) but the portions were quite tiny. Breakfast was alright but again not hing to fancy (not a single vegetable?)… I wish them well but won’t be returning for sure.

12/10/2025: Wonderful place! We chose it for our wedding. The cuisine is delicious, carefully crafted, and original. The rooms are perfect for an overnight stay. Nature, tranquility, and a beautiful view of Lake Maggiore. Ivan organized everything perfectly.

08/03/2026: I went for dinner, and the value for money was very good. The atmosphere was a bit too noisy for me, so I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for a quiet place. They forgot a dish during service, but that's something that can happen when there's a lot of people.
