22/08/2026: Among the many typical Italian restaurants in town, this one truly stands out. We had the chance to try several different places during our few-day stay, and this was by far the best — nothing else even came close. Special thanks to Caterina, whose warm smile and lovely conversation made our evening even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Trattoria Gargino

10/08/2026: Traveling on the Vigezzina train between stations, we stumbled upon this trattoria, just steps from the cathedral. Despite the late hour (1:30 PM), we were warmly welcomed by the staff. We ate lunch on the balcony and chose cold dishes with a liter of sparkling white wine, and everything was delicious. We'll definitely be returning!
