We had lunch at the restaurant with a couple voucher that had been given to us (excellent gift idea). The effort of climbing to the summit was worth it thanks to the fantastic view offered by Villa Pizzini over Lake Maggiore, the excellent food offered, a service that to define as impeccable is an understatement, and surprising attention to the smallest detail. In fact, from the moment we arrived, the villa immediately caught our attention, surrounded by autumn colors and thanks to the beautiful viewpoint behind it. When we entered, the staff welcomed us in a kind, polite and smiling way, with a care almost never seen before. The variety of the menu is adequate to what one should expect from a classy place like this. The restaurant offers various tasting options that vary according to the season, but we opted for the game-based one. Each dish was accompanied by the most suitable wine chosen from the long list of wines available, and with each dish I was more and more amazed by the flavors I tasted. A person not used to eating meat tells you this, but here the quality borders on such high levels that anyone would change their mind. We would like to extend our best compliments to the chef and the entire staff for the wonderful experience we had. We hope to have the opportunity to return soon!

Absolutely magnificent dining experience. Each dish was more delicious than the last. We had the "Origins" menu and highly enjoyed the tastes of the season- mouth-watering saffron risotto, assorted pork, exquisite ravioli with truffles. The veal and cod were also impeccable. The desserts were cullinary heaven- tiramisu and pear with a white chocolate ball of deliciousness that can hardly be described. Perfection. I almost wept when the meal was done as it had been such a moving experience. Highly, highly recommended. Warning- the drive up the mountain may not be for the faint of heart, especially in rain and fog, but worth every hairpin curve and turn from Stresa. Wonderful and attentive host and staff, catering to every need and whim and whatsapping us to make it past road closures. My only regret was that it was dark and we could not see the presumably amazing view.
