17/08/2024: Prenotazione effettuata per la sera , la signora ha inteso il per il pranzo. Oltre a crearmi un enorme danno (occasione un 60 compleanno), ci può stare l’errore di “fraintendimento” non è stato fatto un minimo sforzo per trovare una soluzione ma sono stata facilmente liquidata con un “mi spiace per questa sera non abbiamo posto”. Pessimi

16/08/2024: Necessaria la prenotazione perchè il locale è sempre pieno, specie con la bella stagione, perchè la veduta dal ristorante è mozzafiato. Menù giusto (non ampissimo ma ce n'è per tutti i gusti), cibi gustosi e locali. Prezzo medio-alto ma non eccessivo a mio avviso. L'unica pecca è che il servizio è stato veramente lento durante tutta la cena e si "perdono dei piatti per strada": dopo aver scoperto che un secondo non arrivava perchè non era stato segnato in comanda, abbiamo atteso oltre 30min per un tagliere di formaggi e due dolci. Chiaramente la gestione di molti clienti insieme non è semplice, ma non è una cosa inaspettata in un locale del genere...

02/08/2024: We had a delicious meal. Real dishes with fantastic meat or fish from the grill. And delicious wine with it. You must like meat, it is not really a vegetarian restaurant. You can sit there quietly, away from the hustle and bustle of the boulevard.

15/08/2024: With the new name Emma's Kitchen, this inn gives you what you pay for. Nothing exciting with some errors in the execution of several dishes, lacking in service, as in payment methods, on the other hand a good value for money. It's not worth the trip, but it's not to be avoided

15/08/2024: Without speaking Italian you should think twice about going here. There was no menu and nothing written. The chef came to us and listed the menu in Italian. The reason is probably that the menu changes every day. Maybe a blackboard would be good so that as a guest you have time to think things through (and also see the prices 😉). The food was good, certainly not "high-class" but very solid and good Italian home cooking 👌 The price was ok, not particularly cheap but still reasonable (pasta €10, starter €10 per person). The service was a bit slow at first, but after that it was quick. I think we would come again if there was a readable menu with prices.

11/08/2024: We arrived late, without having booked and it was Saturday 20th July, so the place was overcrowded and the staff were very busy. We asked if they had a place for the two of us too. In less than ten minutes they settled us, fortunately inside, like this, in the cool and not under the umbrellas, under the scorching sun. The service was quick and precise and the dishes served were of excellent quality. The typical cured meats and cheeses on the platter are particularly good. The price is also good, aligned with the service and the dishes chosen. Thanks to all the staff. I recommend the refreshment to all tourists who, after seeing the Toce waterfall, go up to Lake Morasco.

22/06/2024: Nei pressi della cascata del Toce Ottimo servizio Locale carino e cucina tipica e vera Piatti gustosi, Polenta conciata perfetta discreta scelta di vini Prezzi ok

16/05/2024: Si trova difronte al Municipio di Novalesa. Offre un ambiente interno pulito e soprattutto ampio. È utilizzabile infatti, anche una grande sala, ad esempio, per festeggiare battesimi, cresime e perché no anche matrimoni. I tavoli sono modesti ma confortevoli. Il servizio svolto con cura e puntualità. Il cibo viene servito caldo ed è squisito. Annesso al ristorante vi è il bar con possibilità di consumazione all'esterno in un comodo dehors.

23/08/2024: Very beautiful and welcoming structure in the middle of the mountains. Very well equipped for families, we stayed 2 nights with 2 children aged 3 and 2 years. Very spacious and clean family room. Excellent restaurant for lunch and delicious (thin) pizza for dinner. Outdoor space equipped for children and relaxation for adults. Wide choice for breakfast, even for celiacs. We will definitely be back!

17/08/2024: We went for lunch on a Saturday in August with friends with two little girls. We were outdoors but sheltered from the sun and we had a good time. The greenery is much appreciated as it helps the girls run around in peace (there is also a ping pong and a carousel train). The interiors of the restaurant are perfectly renovated in a modern style, in very pleasant wood. Really good but limited food......we trusted the advice of the waitresses who suggested the mixed starter (at our request) in really paltry doses. We asked for bread (which we finished, to fill us up a bit while waiting for the polenta) but it arrived with empty plates. In short... a very good start but the lack of attention is a bit disappointing. Very good polenta, with a very consistent grain. Tasty accompaniments, good food, but again we scraped the plates with cutlery because, all things considered, we would have liked 1/2 spoonful more. I agree with not wasting, absolutely, but you also go to the mountains to eat. Good desserts but we waited about 10 minutes for part of the order, which never arrived. At 2:30, when the whole table was ready for coffee, cakes were still missing, so ordered again. In short, overall it could have been a less tiring service. Extremely serious waitresses, not a smile "What do you want, ma'am?" Or "there's polenta, if you share it I'll bring you some plates then???" ......what question is that? Do we eat on napkins? It also rained twice and one of them pretended not to hear us when we asked to drink the coffees inside (we would have left immediately afterwards, no one had any intention of staying any longer). At least another colleague listened to us and responded. Nothing transcendental but it is a beautiful, pleasant place, where you eat excellently. It can really only improve with an effort to relax and unwind, I hope our criticisms will be appreciated to improve.

31/07/2024: Good pizzas and starters, 1 star deducted for the carelessly served chicken thigh with a very small portion of baked potato for which 12 euros was too much. With the other dishes we had, I thought the price/performance was fair....You shouldn't have to ask for everything for salt/pepper/balsamic vinegar, etc. It should be on the table.

30/07/2024: The staff is somewhat friendly, as soon as you have a request you realize that it's a bit too much for them. There was no salt and pepper at the table, I would like a spoon when eating linguini, the daily menu is for when I'm slightly hungry. A la carte food, generous portions and good.

05/07/2024: A place of the soul, such as no longer exists. Simple dishes, homemade, without frills. The guys who serve at the table are kind and friendly.

19/02/2024: Posticino old stile. Vecchia locanda rimasta in tutto e per tutto come una volta tranne per i prezzi. 30 euro x tre panini peraltro tutti uguali perché eravamo fuori tempo massimo e la disponibita era di prepararci i panini ma solo se tutti con lo stesso ingrediente mi sembra un po' eccessivo . Peccato perché io amo l'alpe Devero e questi posticini lontani dal turismo di massa. Però spennare così i turisti è molto scorretto. Prima di andare alla cassa avrei consigliato questo locanda al 100%. Ma visti i prezzi mi sento presa in giro. Prox volta...panini da casa

08/08/2024: Pizza was unbearable. Cappuccino was also really terrible, but that pizza was really the highlight. I had the pizza regina margherita, but it was like tomato soup on a dough base that was impossible to beat. Not recommended. Get out of here. Shame.

04/08/2024: Voilà une valeur sûre ! Accueil chaleureux, bel endroit et une excellente table avec des produits locaux cuisinés « maison ». Le responsable, qui parle parfaitement le français, a le souci de vous garantir de passer un très bon moment.

02/07/2024: Unfriendly staff, despite the fact that there was little going on, the employees discussed with each other where we should sit. The following guests had the same discussions. Food was good.

30/06/2024: Sono ritornata dopo un po' di tempo. Abbiamo sia pranzato che cenato. Ottimi i piatti di pesce come la pizza. Vista magnifica dalla veranda. Da tenere presente.

04/08/2024: The place and the village are very nice. Super aperitif, delicious appetizers and refined cocktails. The attached pastry shop is also very good, highly recommended also for the kindness of the girls and the peace of the place
