28/04/2026: The owner was extremely rude. We left immediately, without even ordering. The rude and impolite reaction was triggered by a polite request to change tables so as not to be seated under the register with the music playing. I'd been before and had a good meal.
Too bad, I'll never return. I don't recommend the restaurant to anyone, and I'll obviously change restaurants when a group of friends suggests we go there for dinner.
06/04/2026: The food was average but the chicken was disgusting!!!
It felt like it was fried with fish and it was very smelly!! Also the drink had barely any alcohol.

Prices are a bit high for such small items, but that's due to the location, as you can see the lake.
If you want something light in the morning or a coffee with a view of the lake, I can recommend it.
02/05/2026: Crazy prices, awful service. The waitress was quite rude and pedantic. Prices aren't displayed; the receipt doesn't even list the name of the product you ordered, just the price with the word "generic" next to it. The biscuits were stale. €25 for two for breakfast. The lake view doesn't even begin to justify the expense, considering the service and the quality of the food.

03/05/2026: We stayed three days over the May 1st long weekend, highly recommended...we had a wonderful time, the place was welcoming, the food delicious, the owners really kind! The village is a real gem and allowed us to take beautiful walks and wonderful hikes...
The only small flaw was the lack of a bidet in the bathroom, otherwise everything was perfect!
We'll definitely be back.

31/01/2026: Excellent food and atmosphere. We went for lunch on Saturday. The service was quick and the dishes were really well-prepared. The hazelnut liqueur to finish was really good. The price was average.

20/11/2025: Great options and very cute spot. However the kitchen is only fully open from 12-3pm so trying to get an early or late lunch is limited to just baked goods and drinks.
The carrot cake and coffee is very good.

23/07/2025: Unfortunately, this bakery sells bread and other items that were made the day before yesterday. I'd already noticed and stopped going there. I thought maybe we French are picky about bread, but our Italian friends had noticed it too. The day before yesterday I tried again, also to avoid going far, but the result: my friend ate an incredibly dry sandwich on the train home. It's a shame because when things are fresh, they taste good. You don't sell things that are either defrosted or from the day before without disclosing it, and they should be sold at a discount. Dry or humid weather doesn't explain such differences!

02/05/2026: Location, tranquility, service, speed, quality, prices. I couldn't rank them all, everything was top-notch.
We tried the grilled sea bass, pasta alla norma, and came back to try the pizza.
Everything was spectacular.
Reservations recommended.
01/05/2026: Absolutely positive experience. Highly recommended restaurant. There were 12 of us (6 adults and 6 children) who arrived almost at closing time. They greeted us with professionalism, kindness, and helpfulness. Fantastic service, delicious food, and a clean environment. We returned later and everything was confirmed.

11/04/2026: Last night we had a terrible experience. Terrible, terrible, terrible food. The tagliolini with lobster were salty and rubbery, floating in oil and tasteless. The mixed fried food was greasy, and I even got a haircut. The tiramisu was alcoholic, and I've never had it. The coffee was awful. In Modica, it cost €108. I'm not saying there should be a discount, but I'd appreciate a little humility and an apology.
05/04/2026: Bland dinner, a huge salad costing €10, with tuna that stung. I mentioned it at the cashier, but the cashier didn't care. The bread was stale.
Friendly service, except for the cashier.
The spaghetti with clams seemed precooked.
I definitely won't be back.
I hope these criticisms are a reason for improvement.

11/05/2026: It's always a pleasure to return. The location offers a breathtaking view when you can eat outside. The staff is very polite and professional, despite some of them being very young. The Milanese cutlet melted in your mouth, made with veal and not some other rubbish. The mussels were super fresh and perfectly cooked. The fritto misto was amazing, light, dry, and plentiful (we ate there for two).
The owner is the icing on the cake. Prices are perfectly in line; anyone who says it's expensive should go eat at the local canteen.
I highly recommend it.
