28/02/2025: I went to this place a couple of weeks ago The place is nice although it could do with a clean The friendly staff I took cut grapes, asked for medium cooking but being served on a hot plate... the cooking went beyond that However the meat wasn't bad My partner took a menu Overall a positive experience

02/01/2025: Posto carino, pulito ordinato, curato nei minimi dettagli, dalla sala ai servizi, c’è proprio la mano ti tante donne che hanno una marcia in più,in sala l’atmosfera è cordiale, serena, familiare e ultimo ma non ultimo il cibo è buono e ricercato, ma senza esagerare, materia prima di qualità, trattata bene bene, lo consiglio tantissimo, continuate così.

03/03/2025: I went the other day, personally the pizza was quite good, a little floury, when the dessert was taken, i.e. meringue pie, an old slice was brought, sour and hard as a brick. When we asked for explanations, the waitress said that it wasn't true at all and that the meringue pie was okay, even though we had left it there they didn't even apologize, they didn't deduct the dessert from our bill. SHAME

15/02/2025: Let me start by saying that this is NOT a place for influencers and digital creators or something similar, it is not even a place for those who expect a hotel like the Palace in Gstaad. The Antica Locanda Alpino is a genuine place, where time has stopped and where everything smells of wood. This is an old-school refuge, with a wonderful view of the Alpe Devero plain and where you can eat wonderfully simple dishes, two first courses and two second courses on the menu, those who want plating and the starred chef please stay away. In a very short time it has become my/our spot at Devero

13/02/2025: Great place for three days under the snow in a corner of paradise. The Locanda is a corner of the past, here it seems like we are in other times, we also enjoyed the simple cuisine but with a taste of fantastic local and typical products. Go there and you will see that as soon as you pass the tunnel you will be in another fantastic world where you can enjoy the sound of silence.

I prodotti preparati al momento prediligono gli ingredienti della zona , come i formaggi e la carne .. prezzi sono economici se relativi alle porzioni Consigliata la prenotazione

17/01/2025: A perfect pizza made with wood. Oven. Perfectly served! A wafer-thin base, cross-baked. We were thrilled here 25 years ago and haven't regretted it this time either! A must see for anyone in this area! The only downside is that it is right on a busy road. Therefore three stars for the ambience. Still a perfect pizzeria

13/03/2025: Two people had lunch outdoors last week. It was a beautiful sunny day. Excellent lunch, even though it was crowded the service was fast and precise. Wide choice, from aperitifs, toasts, etc. Average prices for the place. The only flaw was that the POS line wasn't working at the time. Luckily we had some cash. For the rest we were satisfied with the choice.

18/02/2025: Locale accogliente e cucina raffinata..... siamo stati serviti da un personale impeccabile,in un ambiente luminoso e abbiamo gustato piatti eccellenti e ben presentati. Non poca cosa. I ravioli ripieni ricotta e spinaci, con burrata e bottarga erano ben bilanciati e sfiziosi. Lo sfilatino ripieno e guarnito di ogni cosa, è stato in grado di sfamare e soddisfare l'appetito di un camminatore come mio marito! E i due antipasti - alici imbottite e fiori di zucca - erano veramente ben fritti e decisamente gustosi! Un pranzetto con i fiocchi che non osavamo sperare un lunedì di metà febbraio in una città semideserta ma suggestiva anche in pieno inverno. Di lì poi il buon consiglio di visitare il borgo di Orta San giulio, veramente da non perdere! Aggiungo che il rapporto qualità/prezzo è molto buono e che sono tutti molto professionali e gentili.

07/12/2024: Vengo spesso in questo locale e ogni volta mi trovo benissimo sia per la pizza con prodotti ottimi e digeribilissima che per la cucina con i suoi piatti. uno dei pochi ristoranti dove si puo trovare l ottima Leffe Rossa alla spina .Se passate da Stresa fateci un salto.
