10/08/2026: Exorbitant prices for the place it is, €20 for 2 spritzes, tables on the street side, no receipt but a slip for internal use and when I asked for it they told me I had to ask for it immediately! They don't see me anymore

26/06/2026: I find the prices decidedly exaggerated. €2.50 for a cappuccino (not even on the Ligurian seafront does it cost that much). Breakfast for two is practically €10. Perhaps we should remember that we're in Intra, in a small square. Also, the service was slow because the girl was alone, and the cappuccino definitely needs a rethink.

18/08/2026: A great start, but then something didn't quite convince us. The charcuterie and cheese platter was truly delicious, and we also really enjoyed the tartare. The girls in the dining room were young, kind, fast, and capable. The part that didn't convince us was the food that followed: the tagliata was decent but not up to expectations, and considering the final bill, the quality-price ratio wasn't satisfactory. It's a shame, because the start was really promising.

18/08/2026: Great courtyard, good food, but besides pizza, the menu is very small.

21/08/2026: A very good restaurant; we went there twice, just a 4-minute walk from our hotel, Del Fuime, which also has a campsite. A lovely, charming setting inside, and a very large, shaded outdoor area.

14/08/2026: Been there several times. Good food, a little more attention to fried food, especially dry and oily fish. Friendly and customer-friendly staff. However, I've seen staff chattering among themselves a little too loudly on several occasions. And someone smoking. And loud swearing at the staff. I think it's from a manager or owner. It's a bit embarrassing. Maybe get fans in the summer and do something about the insects.

03/08/2026: You suddenly have to pay 2 euros per person before you've even ordered anything, then wait an hour for the drink, then an hour for the food, and you pay 8 euros for a large cola; it really makes no sense. Watch what you order!

29/07/2026: Second time we've stopped for a casual aperitif. I think it's also the last time, it feels like a nuisance, or rather, it probably was!!! Too bad.

07/08/2026: Really good atmosphere and busy restaurant in the heart of Stresa. Sadly the pizza was pretty poor. Drinks were good, staff are really friendly and the atmosphere is great. The food however, from our experience wasn’t great.

26/05/2026: We were thrilled to be able to stay by the lake. Aside from the view from our room (balcony and lake view), what a disappointment! We were at the far end, on the 3rd floor. The hotel is located right next to a road with a constant stream of cars, trucks, and motorcycles. It was noisy because the rooms are very poorly soundproofed. The hotel is old-fashioned, and the room was very dreary. Apart from the exceptional view of the lake, that's the only redeeming feature of this hotel. At €180 a night with breakfast, it's very expensive despite its lakeside location.

21/05/2026: We arrived a little later, but were still able to enjoy a very good meal at the restaurant. The location is fantastic – right on the lake – and the staff is very friendly.

30/07/2026: The pizza is very good, and the staff is very kind and helpful. There are outdoor tables and a nice dining room. Unfortunately, the air conditioning, which is so necessary these days, isn't working.

08/03/2026: The fish is really good and very fresh. This is our third time here, and the raw appetizers deserve a special mention! Superb! The cooked fish main course and the fried fish are also delicious!

28/12/2025: Welcoming place and super friendly staff. We chose the raw fish menu, which was very good and the portions were generous!! Excellent value for money!!! We'll be back on the 31st 😊👍

19/06/2026: I was there with my family. The meats they offer are excellent. It's a 3-minute walk from the Domodossola train station. But what was truly outstanding was the service. We will definitely stop by Domodossola again to eat at Plaza de Toros.

15/08/2026: I often go to this piadina shop but sometimes I find a girl with red hair who was at the cashier today and she was particularly pissed off and unwelcoming... unfortunately it's always like this when she's there, I bought it anyway but if I had known that it would be like this this time too I wouldn't have gone.

11/08/2026: A delightful mountain for camping, the same can't be said for the dinner they prepared for us on August 9th. Starting with the appetizers: following the waitress's advice, we ordered two cheese and cured meat platters for €24, consisting of nine slices of cured meat and three of cheese, the thickness of a slice of cheese. As good as they were, they left a bitter taste in my mouth, typical of feeling ripped off. But if money isn't an issue for you, I recommend the appetizers. The real reason I'm writing this review is the second course: polenta with venison. What can I say, I rarely leave anything on my plate, but this time, I had to. The venison was dry and flavorless, but edible. The sauce covering the venison morsels was disgusting: it tasted only of cloves. In short, I really regretted choosing this place for dinner; I would have preferred to have the saikebon from Esselunga. Edit: I heard the opinions of three of my other friends I had dinner with. One of them had ravioli and another had braised beef with polenta (which I tried). Their opinions on the dinner aren't much different from mine either.
