21/09/2025: Clothes don't make the man! We booked a random place for lunch during a motorcycle tour! The trattoria is dated, but well-kept and CLEAN! Tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms is fantastic, and the porchetta that Mr. Vinicio decided to bring as an appetizer, paired with a nice house Barbera, is equally as good. And don't forget the homemade crostata... A family-friendly atmosphere at a fair price! Highly recommended!
19/09/2025: I had lunch at this restaurant in June with my brothers and... what can I say? We had a fantastic time. The lunch was excellent, the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back. The owners are truly special people.

24/09/2025: A well-maintained, welcoming refuge with good food, open only in the summer season.
A good place to stop for refreshments before reaching the surrounding peaks or for a break on the way back.
31/08/2025: The refuge is easily accessible from Malesco.
An excellent location for sunbathing with a view of the entire Vigezzo Valley.
The polenta with cheese and the mixed polenta with meat are excellent.
The berry tart is delicious.

15/04/2026: Spacious, clean, and bright rooms. The restaurant near the hotel offers good food and reasonable prices (I recommend half-board). Don't be put off by those who say it's "old," I had a great time. 👍

09/05/2026: I went for a business lunch with some colleagues. The lunch was organized, the service was simple in the best sense of the word. The fixed menu costed €16. I was given water and wine, a rectangle of lasagna, a veal cutlet with a slice of good-quality meat, well-made, and a side of green beans and potatoes. For dessert, a piece of tart, and coffee and liqueur for those who liked. I recommend it for its simple, authentic ingredients and as an excellent alternative to all the fast food joints in the area at lunchtime! I highly recommend it!

17/05/2026: I'm giving it three stars not for the food, which I found excellent, but for the overall lack of organization. During peak hours, there was only one cashier who took over a quarter of an hour to clear a line of eight people!
Unacceptable if you're going for a quick work break!
I'll reiterate, however, that the food is worth the price, and the staff is friendly and helpful; the long waits are attributable to a glaring understaffing.

26/04/2026: Good value for money in this area; it's hard to find anything cheaper in this location. The property is a bit dated, but the room was very clean and well-maintained. The breakfast is plentiful.
The only downsides are the almost non-existent soundproofing (you can easily hear the neighbors) and the rather firm bed, which might not suit everyone.
09/03/2026: We stayed for one night. That's fine. The hotel is located right in the middle of the small town, very close to the lake. That's perfect. The hotel is a bit dated, but the service is extremely friendly. Breakfast consists of cake. If you ask nicely, they'll also give you bread. The coffee is excellent. There's no elevator, so it's difficult for older people.

09/09/2025: The food (as well as the drinks) arrived relatively quickly, and it was also very tasty! (The lasagna had ham in it, which we found a bit difficult to get used to.)
The service: Everyone was very friendly, and it wasn't a problem at all that we didn't speak Italian and only had elementary English. 😉
The four of us got a seat on the terrace. It was nice, but with a little more creativity and different tables, they could achieve much more, and it would attract more guests.
Likewise, the restroom upstairs is in dire need of renovation.
