14/06/2025: We went to the Genziana refuge on a hot day in June. House platter, Tajarin with goose ragù, sliced ​​beef and pears cooked in wine with cinnamon ice cream....all excellent. Precise and fast service. The refuge is not very visible from the main road but just a few steps away for a pleasant lunch break.

29/06/2025: We stopped by chance from today ... pizza after spending the day at the giants' marmitte. After so much sun we wanted a good ice cream, to tell the truth we were also intrigued by the pizza. 🍕 light dough and delicate ingredients, a great flavor! As for the ice cream I tried salted caramel and nutellone super good. I highly recommend you stop by!!!

12/07/2025: I didn't stay overnight, so I didn't see the rooms, but the place is worth a stop. You can relax and try swimming in the pools. The view is beautiful.

12/07/2025: I stayed with my family and two dogs. The location is exceptional, a quiet spot surrounded by mountains, with fully equipped stone cabins. The food service is excellent, with options to dine in the restaurant or outside in the garden at comfortable, shaded tables. There are outdoor stone pools and a beach volleyball court. The manager is friendly and always available.

25/06/2025: Ho avuto il piacere di pranzare e cenare per due giorni presso il ristorante Il Rifugio, scelto e selezionato dalla mia azienda per un soggiorno di lavoro. Fin dal primo momento, il locale ha trasmesso una sensazione di cura e accoglienza: ordine e pulizia impeccabili, un ambiente davvero piacevole e ben tenuto. Ogni piatto servito è stato una piacevole scoperta: la presentazione curata nei minimi dettagli, capace di valorizzare al meglio le portate, e il gusto... semplicemente eccellente. Si percepisce chiaramente la scelta di materie prime di alta qualità e un’attenzione particolare nella preparazione. Il servizio è stato all’altezza delle aspettative: personale cordiale, attento e professionale, sempre disponibile e con il sorriso. Ottimq esperienza gastronomica che ha superato ogni aspettativa, rendendo il soggiorno ancora più piacevole. 14/07/2025: During a trip to the magical setting of Lago delle Fate, we stopped at the Lanti restaurant and enjoyed a genuine gastronomic experience rich in authentic flavors. We sampled two traditional Ossola dishes: polenta with melted cheeses and polenta with tapulone. 🧀 The polenta with cheeses was creamy and rich, with a bold yet well-balanced drizzle of local cheeses, served in a hot terracotta pot that further enhanced its aroma and texture. 🍖 The tapulone—a historic dish made with finely minced donkey meat, slowly cooked with vegetables—was extraordinarily tender and flavorful, accompanied by a rustic polenta, perfectly dense and compact. A true immersion in the flavors of traditional Piedmont. The staff was kind and welcoming, the service quick and attentive, and the surrounding natural setting made the experience even more enjoyable. A place I recommend to anyone who wants to rediscover authentic mountain flavors in a relaxed, family atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

14/06/2025: Kind and courteous staff, place just before arriving at the lake of the fairies, do not expect a menu from a big restaurant, but you eat well without too many pretensions, excellent cured meats. Good value for money

04/07/2025: A place you simply have to go to. I've rarely eaten such a great pizza. Be sure to make a reservation. Parking is available.

30/06/2025: You can get very good pizza here for an unbeatable price. Unfortunately, we didn't really feel welcome. Perhaps it was because it was a long Sunday or because we don't really speak Italian; I don't imagine hospitality to be like that. It's a shame, because, as I said, the food and the value for money are actually excellent.

30/07/2025: I ordered takeout with a friend. The staff was very kind and accommodating, even though it was peak time. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the portions were adequate/generous, so much so that we had some leftovers to eat the next day, which were still very good. (Here's what we ordered: chicken curry, sweet and sour chicken, chicken and vegetable spaghetti, and the coconut dessert.)

09/07/2025: As a family, we were looking for something different than just pizza and pasta. And we have to say, it was delicious. I had the 500g Angus steak plus carmelized potatoes and a small salad, and the steak was perfectly medium. The boys had burgers, which are also highly recommended. The staff was very friendly, and the chef was a top-notch chef and also very friendly. It was a bit out of the way from us, but definitely worth a visit. 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌 Thank you for the lovely evening. 20/06/2025: Couple gift. Fantastic. Being a couple of cyclists .. the place is a real oasis of peace to recover from the fatigue .. excellent ... the cat is a sweetheart. I ate with him on my lap ❤️❤️ the farm's compote and all its fruits are delicious!

01/08/2025: First time here. The food and red wine were good. We were just about satisfied. The staff were a bit cold and couldn't even look us in the eye. The food was a bit overpriced for what you get. The restaurant is recommended for those on a tight budget.

14/06/2025: Very tasty Aperol Spritz! We came in the afternoon and got an aperitivo platter on the house. It looked very good, but it had meat on it. When we mentioned that we were vegetarian, we were given a new platter with cheese, which was delicious. Thanks for the great service :)

11/07/2025: Can not hide my sympathy for that pizzeria. It is just great and it is connected to my adventures past in that region. I eated first there in 2014 and pizzas was delicious, today - July 2025 are still fantasic. The wine is more than fine, a good companion of precious pizza. The atmosphere inside and in the garden is perfect, no matter where you are. And the service of course - no compromise; Thank you to the nice Lady at bar, always smily and helfull, to the waiter with the glasses - so aristocratic and gentle, the beautiful girl with tattoos - fast as wind with everything you order. And of course - thank you to the lady with glasses at back that makes the magic pizza and black Knight at the livefire furnace, who finishes the job!!!

25/05/2025: Off season it's empty but don't let that put you off, the food is stunning. Perfect service and the scallops for starter were perfectly cooked, but the steak was the best I've had in a long time. So well treated, so well cooked and flavoursome. Story ate most of it before I remembered to take a photo
