31/01/2026: I've been there more than once... just because I know the staff... it's absurd to blame the employees... strangely, when I went to eat, the chef, who was in full service, grabbed his jacket and left! The owner came into the kitchen yelling, and he left! Aside from the unpleasant atmosphere, the staff should be treated properly! And secondly, the owner should also take responsibility for his own establishment without constantly having to put others in a bad light!

16/03/2026: We were passing through Verbania by chance. We found this place online. It was raining and snowing. From the outside, it looked like a dive bar, but inside, it was very nice. American, country style! Fast service, friendly staff, excellent food, good portions, excellent house wine, fair prices. We had a great time!! Thank you.

Superlative, eating fresh mussels (in paella) under the mortarone even more so, moving from the fish to the Barolo risotto and toma with prosciutto is a pleasure. Fair prices. Well done! Too bad I didn't find Peranzana oil like the other times.

18/03/2026: This restaurant is recognized as the most expensive in Stresa. After hearing this news, we went to try it... a restaurant with a cellar, nice but with its flaws. Not enough staff... you wait too long between courses. The food is of average quality, the quantity is small... let's be clear, small portions. I'd say, without offending anyone, the Oscar statuette is absolutely not awarded... The outrageous price... I won't go into details. I live in Moncalieri, but I come to Stresa to this restaurant. It's OUT OF THE MARKET + LOGISTICS (LAW: PETROL) + TOP HOTEL +... I HAVE TO WORK FOR A WEEK. I'LL FINISH WITH EQUALLY COMPETITIVE AND GOOD PLACES FOR FOUR TIMES LESS. RECOMMENDED FOR THOSE WITH GOOD MONEY AND NOT HUNGRY.

06/03/2026: I had high hopes for celebrating my boyfriend's birthday here, but it turned into a very disappointing experience. • Regarding the food and ambiance: Objectively speaking, the sashimi was indeed very fresh and delicious, and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was very quiet, which is why I gave it two stars. • Regarding the service (extremely disappointing): I made a reservation in advance and clearly stated that it was a 'birthday dinner,' hoping to be given a quiet spot with a good view, and asking if a small candle could be added with dessert. However: 1. Seating arrangement: Upon arrival, we were only given seats near the restroom or in the aisle. Inexplicably, the restaurant wasn't fully occupied that night, and better seats by the window were empty all night, yet they refused to accommodate our pre-booked birthday guests. 2. Lack of ceremony: The small candle we had requested was completely forgotten, and we didn't even hear a single 'Happy Birthday' greeting all night. 3. Cold service: There was no basic courtesy or greeting when we paid the bill; the service level was severely inconsistent with the €100 per person price tag. I wanted a wonderful birthday memory, but in the end, I only felt neglected. I wouldn't recommend this place to diners who value service quality and a sense of occasion.

17/03/2026: It was my first time here. I had a very thin pizza with Val Viggezzo ham, which was incredibly delicious. The dough was incredibly light. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Kudos to everyone.

05/01/2026: Visited for beers and coffee. Beautiful location, luvly inside area, again beautiful views. Area worth a visit. We walked up to the Mottarone go carting track, so was ideal place to visit afterwards. :) :)

04/01/2026: Beautiful place, very friendly staff, breathtaking view. The only flaw is the bedroom: the bed was uncomfortable, the pillows a bit hard, and there was no TV in the room. After dinner at 8 PM, if you don't bring a laptop or even a board game, time will stand still. If they fixed a few things in the rooms, it would be truly perfect.

20/11/2025: Great options and very cute spot. However the kitchen is only fully open from 12-3pm so trying to get an early or late lunch is limited to just baked goods and drinks. The carrot cake and coffee is very good.

23/07/2025: Unfortunately, this bakery sells bread and other items that were made the day before yesterday. I'd already noticed and stopped going there. I thought maybe we French are picky about bread, but our Italian friends had noticed it too. The day before yesterday I tried again, also to avoid going far, but the result: my friend ate an incredibly dry sandwich on the train home. It's a shame because when things are fresh, they taste good. You don't sell things that are either defrosted or from the day before without disclosing it, and they should be sold at a discount. Dry or humid weather doesn't explain such differences!
