15/03/2025: Nice evening in the company of Wally Gators and Juda's Kiss. Before the concert, a good pizza and draft beer. Venue with a nice stage, designed for live music. Excellent acoustics, good sound engineer. Informal place for a nice evening in the company of friends and good strictly live music. Very easy to get to, good parking.

14/02/2025: We went for dinner on a Friday night to hear the band MalaMente. Welcoming environment, friendly and professional staff. I ate the ganassino with mashed potatoes and it was very good, the pizza is also good and digestible. Nice music and fun. Advised

Top-notch service included even a pick-up from our hotel! And to finish it off a little gift box with a selection of sweets was just a cherry on top 😊

Location bellissima sia internamente che esternamente, capace di rimetterti al mondo allontanando la mente dallo stress quotidiano. Personale gentile e alla mano, piatti uno più buono dell'altro...siamo stati benissimo. Conto giusto. Super consigliato! Complimenti a tutto lo staff =)

04/05/2025: Questo ristorante è molto carino però per quel che vale costa fin troppo ad esempio un litro di acqua costa ben 3 euro! Molto gentile il personale ma purtroppo altrettanto lento per una porzione di patatine abbiamo dovuto aspettare 45 minuti rischiando di perdere la corriera. Alla fine posso consigliare di venire se avete molta pazienza.

25/01/2025: Il locale non si è scaldato in tempo ed essendo lontano dal camino (bellissimo e d’atmosfera) abbiamo patito un po’ di freddo. Rapporto qualità prezzo non proprio soddisfacente per la polenta ed il dolce. Non e’possibile pagare con carte e bancomat; onestamente non avevamo visto il cartello alla cassa che resta alle spalle di chi entra nel locale. Questo ha creato un po’ di imbarazzo ma risolto egregiamente dal cuoco. L’esperienza in estate era stata migliore.

28/04/2025: In un periodo di bassa stagione per la località, in cui molte strutture sono chiuse, ci hanno accolti per due notti anche se non avevamo prenotato e nonostante fossimo i due soli ospiti. Struttura tipica in stile rifugio di montagna, accogliente sala pranzo con stufa e camino. Le camere del corpo centrale sono essenziali e tutte in legno (la nostra doppia era molto accogliente, con anche cassettiera e comodini d'altri tempi) anche se bisogna entrare nello spirito del bagno condiviso, appunto come in un rifugio. Ci sono però anche stanze con bagno privato in una dependence adiacente. Quanto ai pasti, abbiamo trovato tutto di nostro gusto. Il menù della mezza pensione prevede la scelta tra due primi, due secondi e due contorni, tutti tipici della Val d'Ossola e della montagna in genere. Tutti i piatti che abbiamo assaggiato ci hanno soddisfatto. Così come il vino. Prima di entrare troverete ad accogliervi il manifesto del Comitato per la Tutela del Devero, di cui sono tra i promotori, che si è opposto alla trasformazione di questo luogo incantato in un turistificio, come prevedeva un progetto di incremento degli impianti di risalita sui due versanti del Monte Cazzola (con tutto quello che ne sarebbe seguito). Anche questo, ovvero l'attaccamento al proprio territorio, vale il mio voto.

15/02/2025: Let me start by saying that this is NOT a place for influencers and digital creators or something similar, it is not even a place for those who expect a hotel like the Palace in Gstaad. The Antica Locanda Alpino is a genuine place, where time has stopped and where everything smells of wood. This is an old-school refuge, with a wonderful view of the Alpe Devero plain and where you can eat wonderfully simple dishes, two first courses and two second courses on the menu, those who want plating and the starred chef please stay away. In a very short time it has become my/our spot at Devero

19/04/2025: Questionable quality of the meat, the cut was overcooked and I wasn't even asked what type of cooking I wanted. Onion rings to be reviewed, just too much breading and the onion is rubbery. Unfortunately the quality is very low for the prices it offers

18/05/2025: A lovely little, romantic restaurant, away from the hustle and bustle. Dad cooks, and he does it very well, while mom and son take care of the service. Very friendly. The food is fresh, and some of it is grilled on a large egg, which makes it even more special. Highly recommended!

06/06/2025: Relax assoluto, per merito del personale professionale e di una gentilezza unica! Menù interessante e sfizioso.......qualità garantita e piatti curati dall'antipasto al dolce. Vino della casa veramente all' altezza.....incredibile! Tornerò per assaggiare il pesce di lago.....parlando con il proprietario, persona deliziosa, ho scoperto che è un vero intenditore, che propone materia prima eccellente......assolutamente da provare! Complimenti a tutta la splendida famiglia.

18/05/2025: Complimenti allo staff ci siamo trovati benissimo. Pranzato all' esterno bell'atmosfera ottimo cibo. Consigliato anche per i bambini parco giochi a 2 passi.
