I had lunch at noon on August 18th. Excellent experience. But I have two comments for the managers. 1) I asked to have lunch inside the restaurant. The person welcoming me warned me that it was hot inside. I said that I read on the website that the restaurant was air conditioned. "Yes, there is air conditioning, but it's not working." I think there's some inconsistency in all this (For the record: it was comfortable inside, it wasn't hot). 2) Dessert: I chose a bonet. Truly excellent! But why serve it in a cubic glass container with a small circular opening? Very uncomfortable.

We always have a good time at Osteria del Mercante, a welcoming place, the food is good, and the staff is friendly, the owner is always willing to tell you how and where he makes his wine, and then the bill is fair, and in line with what you eat, recommended for lunches and dinners, reservations are recommended.

This is my third time eating at this restaurant. I always find the service friendly, the atmosphere family-friendly, and the food excellent.
The quality/price ratio is excellent. On Sunday, they gave us a table at short notice, even though the place was already packed. Try the gnocchi with fondue and the tagliata, perhaps paired with an excellent Matteo wine.
I recommend it to anyone who loves good food, the unfussy, authentic kind.

The Margherita pizza was good, but unusual, not your typical pizza: thin crust, cooked to a crispy crust, perhaps due to the way it was cooked. The mozzarella and sauce were good, and the quantity was just right.

The taste here is incredible. The pizzas are amazing. I would drive 1,000 kilometers for a pizza here. Don't think twice, just go eat and enjoy.
