Welcoming and friendly, excellent seafood menu!! The house white wine is adequate: fresh, crisp, and fruity. Fair and reasonable price. We'll definitely return.

A truly wonderful discovery. There weren't many reviews on Google, which made me a little hesitant, but from the moment I was seated at the restaurant, I knew it was going to be a fantastic experience. Seafood and fish lovers, you've come to the right place. The pasta with octopus and tuna was simply fabulous 😍

Excellent value for money. A generous and high-quality plate of lavarello for €24, a good plate of grilled fish for €30, accompanied by a round and fruity rosé served by the glass for €7. Attentive service in a pleasantly decorated and quiet setting at lunchtime on weekdays. The restaurant is now called Al Fresco Hosteria.

08/07/2025: Highly recommended! Very attentive service, delicious food, and a short wait. Right next to the church in the pedestrian zone, a great place to sit and enjoy the evening with good food.
02/06/2025: Very nice place, delicious dishes, excellent quality of products, fish and meat, varied and well-curated wine list. Exquisite desserts, try the wonderful bunet... we will be back soon!

Ristorante La Ripa

17/04/2026: Fantastic stay at Auberge La Ripa! A warm welcome, even though it was late. The room had a view of the lake and the Borromean Islands, which wasn't originally planned. A truly lovely room, and a generous and complete breakfast. Thank you, Paola, for this little slice of paradise. See you soon!
12/04/2026: We stayed with our dog over the Easter weekend at this beautiful hotel, just steps from the center of Baveno. It retains all its early 1900s charm with period furniture. The tastefully furnished rooms feature balconies overlooking the internal garden and a splendid view of the Borromean Islands. The hotel has a lovely garden with a terrace equipped with tables and umbrellas overlooking the private beach below. What more can I say? It's beautiful. Mrs. Paola is a wonderful hostess, very kind and helpful, and upon our arrival she unexpectedly upgraded our room to a larger one with a lake view. I hope to return soon.
