This was the only island worth it, so just buy a one-way ticket for these islands; we found the rest a joke. We paid 76 euros for 3 islands for the two of us.

Beautiful place, elegant setting. The menu is excellent and the recommendations are genuine. It's a real shame there aren't more staff for faster service and more timely table clearing. The cook will serve you since the waitress is currently short-staffed. I hope she'll have more staff for this summer. Her French is impeccable.

The restaurant/café is in a quieter location and was less crowded than the other restaurants during our visit. It's a relatively peaceful place to sit and offers a beautiful view of the mountains.

We went for lunch during the week. Excellent quality, with the option to order wine by the glass, not just bottles...the staff were truly friendly and helpful. Prices were in line with the quality offered. The view was stunning. It's a shame they don't have rooms!

12/07/2026: We ate for two. The food and service were excellent, and the staff were super friendly. Just be careful, the prices don't match those found on Google or other sites, which aren't updated but are 4-5 years old or more. The prices are roughly in line with other restaurants. While we didn't agree with those prices, we ate well. The location is excellent, allowing you to continue your stroll through the center or head to the lakeside.
08/07/2026: We had the most incredible meal at Torino Cafe in Stresa. After several days of recommendations for other places, we took a chance on this little plaza restaurant and were not disappointed - the best food we had all week! We had the fried zucchini flowers with ricotta - delicious. I tried a grilled octopus that was absolutely perfect. We also had a friend try the duck as well as fish. Everything was incredible. Presentation was beautiful! We had delicious tiramisu to end a perfect evening. Service was friendly and efficient, we truly felt at home sitting on the piazza enjoying a memorable meal. Thanks for a wonderful last night in Stresa!

07/06/2026: Excellent cuisine 💚 I highly recommend it: flavorful dishes with fresh ingredients: flawless from start to finish! A place I highly recommend. The only downside was the service: cold (despite a confirmed reservation): the person who seemed to be in charge didn't offer a smile, a glance, or even a thank you when we paid! This is quite a contrast to the smiles we usually get in the area… What a shame.
