An extraordinary restaurant. We ate there at lunchtime on April 27th while strolling through Stresa, and on April 28th we made a special detour before heading back to France. Go there, you'll be very well received.

Went twice, lasagna...perfect......spaghetti alla vongole...perfect. Service also as it should be, friendly, attentive...hard to fault

A very nice place that reminds me of the trattorias in Trastevere. I love the checked tablecloth. I must say the cooking is excellent. I had the pleasure of trying a delicious spaghetti dish with lupini beans, finally without too much oil and not at all salty. This was followed by two delicious fried cutlets with perfect sides: spinach and baked potatoes. I didn't have room for dessert, but I'll be back soon to try the Ossobuco alla Milanese. I can't wait, and what can I say? They're super hospitable and the service truly exceeded expectations.

From the outside, it looks very inviting. Friendly, but very slow service. The meat platter was ridiculously cheap at €16, with only two paper-thin slices of each of three different meats (ordered as an appetizer in case of a long wait, but even that took ages). So, if there are three of you, you won't even notice the thinness of the platter. The breaks between dishes were incredibly long, and the staff were even walking between the tables – not a good impression and certainly not conducive to a pleasant atmosphere. The service was also inattentive – spaghetti was brought without a spoon, salad without dressing, and oil only after we asked. The cheeks with polenta were so tiny you had to search for them on a plate that looked like something you'd find in a school cafeteria, and there was a single lamb's lettuce leaf as a garnish – quite embarrassing. In short: overpriced, nothing special. I'd rather go to a pizzeria for takeout. What a shame.
