25/08/2024: We stayed in this small hotel a few years ago and had great memories of it. We had the opportunity to return there for dinner (twice)… a real pleasure! Everything is excellent and the service wonderfully combines efficiency, kindness and good humor Special mention to Nadia, her kindness and her smile made this already perfect dinner an unforgettable memory. We will come back!

23/08/2024: Graniga è la prima frazione con qualche servizio che si trova per chi proviene dalla alta valle Bognanco dopo una escursione. Noi abbiamo provato solo il servizio bar nella panoramica terrazza:ottimo gelato, così come il servizio della simpaticissima cameriera. Uno sguardo al menu ed alla sala pranzo sono uno stimolo a provare in un prossimo futuro anche la cucina di questo ristorante di montagna che fa parte di una specifica catena.

29/07/2024: This hotel is the demonstration of how attachment to family tradition can translate into attention to detail. The staff is very friendly, welcomes you with courtesy and provides you with detailed information useful for your stay. If you are traveling by car, the location is very convenient because it is 2 minutes from the center of Stresa where there is a large and convenient car park. If you want to spend some time on the lake, just cross the road, there is an equipped bay where you can sunbathe and swim. The hotel also has private parking. Overall, it is a highly recommended hotel.

14/07/2024: Lunch with friends. Hotel restaurant in a splendid position, at the foot of the mountain surrounded by greenery with a stream flowing alongside the meadow. Stunning view of the valley. From the cold cuts platter to the first courses, the second courses, the game and the cheeses, ending with the desserts, everything was very good. Good value for money. Equipped with wifi. Worth coming back to spend the day or as a starting point for excursions. Advised.

04/07/2024: My husband and I went by chance the first time and have returned regularly over the years. Nadine and Gianmauro are very kind and, not insignificantly, Gianmauro is an excellent cook.

25/08/2024: A wonderful place! The food is excellent, I come back to eat here every time I go to Macugnaga. The Locanda never disappoints, everything is always delicious, generous portions and the prices are right. Highly recommended.

30/08/2024: A wonderful view, the cocktails are very good, we went back several times and had different cocktails, we were not disappointed, they also serve a small "aperitif" plate with it. The pizzas are also decent. Good value for money.

30/08/2024: Great place to have a drink by the water, aperitivo a little light but the little dry sausage that you cut yourself for 2 people is not bad at all. Also nice to have a pizza with friends, cut into pieces by the very friendly and warm staff. Nice menu of original and well-made cocktails

25/08/2024: We have been frequenting Paradise for many years now, it is our comfort zone and it is always a positive reference. The breakfast is tasty and ranges from delicious croissants to excellent home-made cakes, and the coffee is one of the best in the valley. For lunch the offer is a series of gourmet dishes and sandwiches for every palate, very qualitative: I'm crazy about the sandwich with salmon and other ingredients that make it unique, the carpaccio, sauces and more are also excellent. The aperitifs include delicious platters. So it's clear that I'm a fan???

17/08/2024: We found ourselves passing through, we ordered: two cold coffees, a latte, a slice of tart (I'm thinking of blackberries) and a brioche with jam, really excellent quality and not industrial!

05/08/2024: I went the other day to take a walk in the beautiful Macugnaga, and then with the cable car I stopped to eat at the Rifugio Lago Smeraldo, being at more than 2800 meters the place is definitely worth a relaxing break. I ate outside, on the terrace with an amazing view. I ate very very well. There are many good things on the menu, I ate an excellent polenta with wild boar then I also tasted the braised meat, Macugnaghese pasta, and a fabulous cocotte of melted cheese with onions. There are also great desserts, yours made by them. I highly recommend a refreshing passage.

22/07/2024: Sweet coffee on the main street of Stresa, where you can have a perfect breakfast. The Cornetto with vanilla or pistachio cream is very tasty. The latter sells out quickly, you have to get there early, around 9 a.m.

19/07/2024: Absolutely awful!!! The service is very bad. They don’t have enough cups and fill fresh coffee in used cups. The worst Cafe I have ever been at. I can’t understand why this cafe has good reviews.

22/07/2024: Ci ha veramente colpito questo posto, mentre andavamo, tra curve e stradine (anche un po' malconcie), eravamo un po' perplessi. Non ci eravamo mai stati e lo abbiamo trovato per caso. Ma appena arrivati siamo rimasti davvero colpiti. Immerso nel verde, una vista bellissima e il cibo ottimo! ci torneremo sicuramente!
