What an amazing experience, we came from quite far to try the food and check the location and we were not disappointed! It was a fantastic experience, from the beginning to the end, with the food of course being the cornerstone of it all. The dishes were tasteful, imaginative and so well constructed. Plus the veranda on the lake shore topped the whole experience off. Thank you so much to Chef Agostino for the experience.

The food was absolutely exceptional, and the chef was also very friendly. The setting was beautiful, with a view of the lake.

When the elegance of the setting meets the undeniable charm of a veranda overlooking Lake Maggiore, you already have something extra. But that's not all, because here at the MILANO restaurant there's more: hospitality, kindness, and attentiveness to the customer. The menu: no ostentation or gourmet dishes, but respect for the local area, for seasonality, and, of course, the "flair" of chef Agostino. Everything is carefully crafted, no flaws, just quality and attention to every detail. A marvelous table, a breathtaking table setting, a pure white tablecloth (I'm tired of minimalism at the table...), glasses, cutlery, everything, but everything of undisputed refinement. For these details alone, I give it a 10!!! We were with friends, Giorgio and Marielene, who are regulars at the restaurant, and having them at our table made the evening even more magical.

The food is, mostly, wonderful but the service is so joyless and perfunctory, it sucked the life out of my foodie family. I don't know how this happened, but I am guessing it is as with most things: the fish rots from the head. To be more precise, three courses from a tight menu shouldn't take three hours to deliver, but if they do, the staff should be attentive to the many minutes between.
