11/06/2026: *Bar La Torre - Candelo. €15 for the "Medieval Platter"? The portion was medieval.* Today, June 11, 2026, table 15, outdoor. I ordered the Medieval Platter for €15.00 + €3.00 service charge. Total bill: €30.60. I'm attaching a photo of the "platter": 4 slices of prosciutto, three rounds of salami, two pieces of cheese arranged crosswise, and a handful of lamb's lettuce for bulk. For €15 at the supermarket, I can buy 100 grams of raw ham, 100 grams of cooked ham, 2 cheeses, bread, and have enough left over for beer. Here, it costs €5.00. I understand the price increases, but this is a children's appetizer, not a €15 platter. If you call it "Medieval Platter" because the portions were so small, then the name is spot on. Otherwise, it's a joke. Nice location, friendly staff, but with these prices and these portions I wouldn't go back even in the 1400s.

08/08/2026: A truly enjoyable evening at Temakerio! A place that stands out from the first impression with its refined atmosphere and unique cuisine. I tried several dishes and was very satisfied: carefully prepared sushi and temaki, quality ingredients, and above all, original combinations that add a special touch to each course. The fusion of Japanese cuisine and Brazilian influences makes the menu interesting and never boring! I also had a very positive experience with the staff: friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout the dinner. The service was pleasant and helped make the evening even more relaxing. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves sushi but wants to try something a little different from the typical Japanese restaurant. It was an excellent experience and definitely a place I would gladly return to!

24/07/2026: Misleading advertising, only 3 types of meat rolls on the menu and Splendor only made to order, the rest is all fish.... menu and drinks list above average, unfortunately we cannot comment on the quality....

16/10/2025: The food isn't bad, and the prices are good. However, the dishes are too salty...let the customers decide whether to have salty or not. Order plain rice...salty. Order side vegetables...salty. Second courses...salty...

16/08/2025: I arrived at 2:15 PM and there were no hot dishes left. They took the hot dishes away at least 15 minutes before the kitchen closed (2:30 PM). So I was left hungry and disappointed. Poor service.

15/08/2026: Wanting to dine out, we chose Kapuziner for the quality of the food, the friendliness and professionalism of the bartenders, and Olga's skill and expertise in preparing the Angus steak, a carefully prepared dish. There's a beautiful outdoor terrace for al fresco dining on summer evenings. I also recommend this place for its excellent beers.

06/04/2026: I ate very well and the tuna steak was excellent and also the hamburger with meat was excellent.

17/08/2026: Disaster, horror, they booked the accommodation and got confirmation of the reservation, after 10 hours of traveling by motorbike, I arrive at the address where it is written on the door that the owner is on vacation. It's a shame that I don't have a comment.

26/07/2026: I can't comment on the hotel, I've never stayed there, but as a restaurant/pizzeria, I highly recommend it.

01/05/2026: Ma Bro Tony Sushi is a small Japanese restaurant in the center of Varallo Sesia. The owner is very kind and extremely good at what he does. To eat in or order takeout, you must make a reservation. You should let us know your order the day before, ensuring the freshness and quality of the ingredients. The menu isn't extensive, but it contains all the must-haves of Japanese cuisine, with a touch of fusion. The sushi is very well made, with a good fish-to-rice ratio, allowing you to taste the quality of the ingredients. The highlight, however, were the gyoza, with their incredibly thin hand-rolled noodles and irresistible sauce—truly mouth-watering. The service was a bit chaotic (he forgot the pieces), but the owner was really kind, so we'll overlook that. I recommend trying it at least once!

23/04/2026: The place is nicely decorated, there is room for 6 diners and they sit at the bar, but we were very disappointed that the food is prepared in bags in advance and he simply boils water and puts the prepared bag in and adds some sauce and that's it, you can just as easily buy the ingredients at the supermarket and prepare it at home, a big disappointment! The only thing he does prepare on site and also looks good is sushi, the prices are very high compared to the town, for example a pizza tray at a pizzeria costs the same as one roll of gyoza thawed from the freezer

01/11/2025: We waited an hour and a half for six inedible and disgusting dishes, not to mention the terrible quality of the fish. Very poor service and no apology from the staff. Absolutely avoid if you don't want to leave with nausea and a stomach ache.

31/10/2025: Very nice restaurant, not only of sushi but also Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese dishes in an extensive menu. Cooking and prep was first rate, fresh oil for the tempura, fish was fresh from what we ordered. Only place within miles I found to order actual soup (evidently not a thing in Piemonte). Not a deep drinks list but sufficient with some beer, simple wines, saki and other drinks. Very reasonably priced. Would certainly go again for a refreshing break from the heavy Piemontese menus around Moncalieri.

01/08/2026: The pizza didn't convince me—it was a cardboard-like mass, so to speak. I'd say the ingredients were well-balanced, but for my tastes, they weren't there. There's no disputing taste.

22/08/2026: Friendly and helpful staff. The outdoor seating overlooking the square is beautiful for sunset aperitifs. The platter and mocktails are delicious. A plus: popcorn instead of chips and a fan with a misting system to cool you down on hot days.
