Very nice restaurant, not only of sushi but also Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese dishes in an extensive menu. Cooking and prep was first rate, fresh oil for the tempura, fish was fresh from what we ordered. Only place within miles I found to order actual soup (evidently not a thing in Piemonte). Not a deep drinks list but sufficient with some beer, simple wines, saki and other drinks. Very reasonably priced. Would certainly go again for a refreshing break from the heavy Piemontese menus around Moncalieri.

Noodles in the square in Moncalieri...!!! We had a great time... the people were very nice and kind... We ate outside in the beautiful and peaceful square next to the church of San Francesco... Good food, excellent service...!!

Now our go-to restaurant for takeout, too. The dishes are truly delicious, and especially the ravioli are fabulous.

We went there by chance and we had a good time, the price at 6pm on Saturday is all you can eat, the food is good and they don't make you wait long.

25/03/2026: Pleasant and relaxed atmosphere, good food, the only flaw being the customer service. My companion ordered the octopus appetizer and gnocchi alla sorrentina, both very good. I, on the other hand, ordered lamb ribs, which had a strange smell. However, they looked inviting, were perfectly cooked, and had a pleasant flavor (although with a slight bitter aftertaste), so I happily ate them all. Afterward, I asked the waitress without arguing why the meat had that smell, still clearly visible on the bones, but I got no answer. Not then, nor at the counter. I honestly hope it wasn't stale meat. I didn't want a discount, but at least an honest and open response.
22/03/2026: Nice place, shame about the lack of staff, but they were quite fast. I had spaghetti with clams, which was good but a little too oily. Overall, it was ok.

Ristorante Du Parc

14/05/2026: Overall, a good experience. Well located and close to the metro. The only downside is that the room gets very hot very quickly. If you open the window, the street is quite noisy at night. The breakfast is varied but has few savory options, which is a shame.
16/02/2026: Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Valentino Du Parc. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the hotel's location is really convenient for exploring the city. Breakfast was good and included in the price – although it's served at Pasta e Basta, about 100 meters away, which wasn't a problem for us. The rooms were clean, although the sloping ceilings in the bathroom were a bit awkward, but not a major issue. The only minor drawback was that the room was a little warm. Overall, a pleasant stay and a good choice for a city break in Turin.
