22/04/2026: We stayed one night with four friends along the Oropa Way. The building was very well renovated. Elevator. Clean and spacious rooms with bathrooms. Comfortable bed. Dinner and breakfast were simple but very good. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. In the square in front, there's a grocery store selling sandwiches and drinks useful for the walk.

12/04/2026: We ate here at Easter. Perhaps the place is more suited to overnight stays with bedrooms, because as far as the food is concerned, I can't find a single positive point. I'm speaking objectively, and I'm very sorry to say it, but the service was a 1 out of 10. We waited 45 minutes for each course, and just as long before the waitress noticed us. The place wasn't crowded, and such a wait is unjustifiable. However, after waiting so long, everyone at least thought they were eating good food—not gourmet, but good and hearty, like the inn/trattoria it presents itself as. Obviously, the opposite was true: mediocre dishes, to put it mildly, poorly planned: bland risotto, flavorless ravioli with roast beef sauce (I don't know why), all for the modest sum of €15! Another example: the platter with a small sampling of four appetizers for €22—madness. Not to mention the desserts at €6 each. You managed to keep me from eating a panna cotta for the first time in my life because it was literally pudding. You charge like a real restaurant, but if I shop at Esselunga and cook myself, I cook better and spend 1/10. You're a mediocre place, you charge like a mediocre place, and no one will complain. Cons: -waiting time -quality of service (ex: we sat down and they only brought us wine and no water, for over 30 minutes there. Or the waitress who forgot two orders, maybe) -price. Completely unjustifiable given the quality of the dishes and the raw materials used, as well as the execution. Pros: There aren't any, find another place to eat. I hope the overnight service is better, otherwise I can't explain all these stars. I'm giving it two stars only because the owner was kind and I hate to bring down local businesses. What's certain is that my family and I won't be returning, much less speaking highly of it.

15/04/2026: The staff is rude and inattentive. Unfortunately, they're unprofessional. It's a shame because the place is nice, but the lack of preparation and disregard for the customers, who are so intent on chatting among themselves (so much so that they don't even greet you when you walk in and don't look at you when you're at the counter), makes me less inclined to return. I'd fix it.

25/09/2025: I've been frequenting this place for many years and have always had a good experience: for a long time, the sandwiches and piadinas were truly among the best around. For this very reason, I'm sorry to write a less-than-favorable review, but I think it's right to offer honest feedback. Lately, I've noticed a decline in overall quality amid rising prices. I understand that price increases are inevitable, but if costs go up, one would expect at least the same level of care and abundance as before. Instead, the sandwiches are smaller and have fewer fillings, and on the last occasion, the piadina was particularly hard and crunchy, a far cry from the soft consistency that has always characterized it. The meat and vegetables remain fresh, no complaints there, but unfortunately, the overall experience is no longer what I remembered. I hope they can revise some aspects and return to the standards that made them a point of reference for so many loyal customers like me.

Poor and not very good ingredients, so-so meat inside. The salad could be decent if they didn't leave the tomatoes whole, having cutlery not suitable for cutting the cubes, not even for the salad. Poor dressing, a package of three breadsticks for two, we had to ask for more. Then if you do the math in the end, it's better to go to a restaurant or bar/lunch and eat a menu or even just a plate of good pasta and you'll be much better off. Reheated fries 😔. Poor cleanliness.

27/12/2025: I ordered two take-out pizzas. When we arrived, they were already ready, "very quick"... we got home and started tasting them, and all we could notice was a burnt taste, one more burnt than the other. The pizza chef should be fired... you can't afford to deliver pizzas like that to customers. Not even the worst kebab shop in town would do that.

23/12/2025: A very positive experience: a welcoming atmosphere with such attentive service that it's reminiscent of a restaurant. Everything is handled with care and professionalism.
