20/07/2025: Zero stars for rude and ill-mannered waiters. I strongly advise against spending even a single euro here.

12/07/2025: I was at the restaurant yesterday with a friend of mine. We went in and asked if we could sit outside, and they calmly said yes. There were a few free tables, so we chose one at random. The waiter passed us several times, taking other customers' orders. After a while, I stopped him to ask if we could order, and he replied, "Oh, you still have to order?" Us: "Yes, yes." And he, in a sarcastic and visibly annoyed tone, replied, "Good job, sitting at dirty tables," and walked away. Now, I ask myself: is it really our fault if we sat at a "dirty" table (which, after all, wasn't that dirty)? And even if it was (dirty), isn't it the staff's job to notice that new customers have just arrived (after having asked permission to do so) and clear the table? It's okay not to have noticed us right away, but at least avoid that contemptuous tone. In the end, we left without ordering anything: I don't tolerate rudeness. Looking at other customers' reviews, I see that this type of behavior is far from an isolated incident. Personally, I won't be returning.

27/05/2025: Local present on Glovo, they confirm your orders and then don't deliver them to you, they disappear and don't even answer the phone during the hours they are open anyway!

10/03/2025: They are no longer the same owners, they have changed management and still keep the name of the old place. Thinking of taking it from the old management I ended up with a kebab shop pizza, which with all due respect has a dough that I struggle to call a pizza. At least have the decency to update the site so people know what they're up against

17/06/2025: No, it doesn't work because the cream.......which you expect to taste like cream.....it doesn't taste like cream but like fatty stuff......and it doesn't seem like all animal milk cream. I don't understand the closed door issue either. I don't think I'll buy anything else anyway. In the video (it doesn't upload and I'll turn it into a photo), those are REMAINS of cream from the maritozzo Yes, I had kept the boxes because they were cute and there were residues. "Cream" color unchanged, It has NEVER melted. Fossilized.

31/07/2025: Locale semplice composto da due sale. C’è un menu fisso a 35 euro composto da 5 antipasti, due primi ed un secondo a scelta, tutto molto buono. Discreta la scelta di vini (noi abbiamo scelto un’Alta Langa da 40 euro). Personale cortese e simpatico.

03/06/2025: Un bonito y agradable restaurante en medio de la nada. Teníamos unos porcini estofados (muy deliciosos, crujientes por fuera, muy suaves por dentro) ; tagliolini (pasta larga muy fina) hecho con 40 yemas con trufas ralladas (trufa extra a 29 , 00 más el precio base del plato de pasta) ; conejo, lasaña de caracoles. . todos los platos eran muy sabrosos pero todos en el lado pequeño; servicio amable, agradable comida lejos de las multitudes, platos de setas son su especialidad. El problema que nos dejó desconcertados fue que cuando nuestros comensales de la mesa de al lado pidieron la factura, afirmaron que eran revisores de viajes (igual que todos nosotros) exigieron descuentos y se les concedió; ¡no fue agradable escuchar eso!

31/05/2025: You don't advertise a tiramisu that isn't it: if I order a tiramisu I expect the classic dessert, not a cup of ice cream with a ladyfinger at the bottom of the glass cup and a sprinkling of cocoa on top... bear with me, if I wanted tiramisu-flavored ice cream I would have ordered it, don't you think?

05/07/2025: Once we arrived at the Refuge we sat down and were welcomed by a kind and friendly waiter. And that's where the positive things end. A mediocre lunch with very poor quality polenta, accompanied by bowls of sausage, gorgonzola cream, bagna cauda cream, chickpeas and peas (!?) jam and rubbery polenta au gratin, followed by desserts. The cost, in relation to the quality, was judged, by us, to be absolutely inadequate (very high). If a friend asks me what is best to do for lunch at Pian del Re I will advise him to prepare some good sandwiches at home.

29/06/2025: Poor food and poorly maintained structure. A real waste considering the privileged position both for the Sunday outing and for those who pass by here with greater hiking or mountaineering ambitions.

15/06/2025: We had read the mixed reviews but we went with the idea of ​​getting a pizza, which we thought couldn't go wrong... in the end yes, tomato sauce without salt, way too much mozzarella which made it barely edible, not to mention the slowness and the fact that we had to send it back 3 times

28/05/2025: We had dinner in this place where they welcomed us with cordiality, we ordered a delicious seafood appetizer and then two elephant ears Milanese veal rib with bone, finally for dessert a tiramisu and a fantastic mandarin sorbet. A thank you to the waiter Roberto who served us with professionalism and availability, we will return to try other delicious proposals.

10/06/2025: Un ristorante Self Service con poca scelta ma per noi più che sufficiente.. Quando andiamo (quelle 4-5 volte all'anno) scegliamo sempre le polpettine svedesi ( io di carne, lei le vegane) purè e piselli e un primo del giorno .. con gelato e caffè ce la caviamo con 30€ in 2 .. molto meglio che una pizza che in molti posti si paga di più.. Abbiamo provato nel tempo anche i secondi di pesce.. buono il salmone ed il tonno.. non granchè il fritto che ha una impanatura troppo spessa e alla lunga diventa stucchevole.. Leggo di personale scortese.. a noi non mai capitato.. anzi.. ieri sera un ragazzo particolarmente affabile e preparato ci ha servito al banco in modo impeccabile.. Ci andiamo da 35 anni (qui dal 2009) e ci torneremo ancora per molto

20/07/2025: Bad experience. We ordered two simple coffee creams and paid €8 in total... without a receipt!

19/07/2025: I go in with my girlfriend and order two coffee creams. When it comes to the bill, I'm shocked to discover: 8 euros total. 4 euros for a perfectly ordinary coffee cream, and to make matters worse, no receipt issued. Simply speechless.

09/08/2025: A pleasant bar with a very good aperitivo, without the unnecessary frills of many "aperitivo" places, but they get to the point: well-made cocktails and they freshly prepared canapés to accompany our aperitivo, which is not a given. In short, everything was great, until a lady (perhaps the owner, since she wasn't in uniform) started clearing away chairs and tables, clearly annoyed by the presence of customers still seated... too bad it was 7 PM and the bar closed at 8 PM, but she wanted to leave and made it clear without further ado, even turning down four people who wanted to drink. It's a shame, because up until that point it had been a pleasant discovery. I'll be back anyway, and I highly recommend it.

10/09/2025: The taste is delicious! The waiter saw that I was a foreigner and explained the cooking methods of each dish in English. There was a chocolate dessert that was said to use a recipe certified by the former Italian royal family.

09/09/2025: I gave the service 2 stars because the only waiter seemed bothered to serve us. We tried a few dishes that don't have much in common with Piedmontese cuisine, except for the Bunet. That's worth it. Apart from that, I wouldn't recommend it.

25/07/2025: A terrible impression in 15 seconds flat. We walked in at 10 PM to order a coffee, and the tipsy-looking gentleman behind the counter shouted (literally) that the place wasn't a coffee shop. We walked out. Given the statement, and the force with which it was expressed, perhaps the "coffee" sign plastered across the entrance should be reevaluated. The star should be removed, rather than added.

06/08/2025: The pizzas were a decent size, but the quality was very, very poor. The spaghetti portion was so small that I asked if they were serious. On top of that, they charged €13 even for the even smaller children's spaghetti. In short, nothing is right here. So, not recommended at all! There are very good alternatives not far away.

21/07/2025: Small portions and very expensive. Food below average for the price.

26/08/2025: Outdoor location in one of the most beautiful squares in the world, so it's a great privilege to be able to feast your eyes with a consultation. I had a beetroot risotto, which was decent (I think the croutons could even be removed). The staff was attentive and present without being intrusive.

24/08/2025: We stopped for a quick coffee, and I must say I was amazed by the truly excellent coffee.
