21/10/2025: I've had the pleasure of eating at Il Pirata on several occasions (birthdays, parties, and even more relaxed dinners) and have always had a great experience. I was there for a party on Saturday, and the delivery times were reasonable, especially since you can't expect pizzas to arrive in 10 minutes when a restaurant is full. The pizzas are very good, and the value for money is top-notch. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, which is something you can't take for granted. Highly recommended!

06/12/2025: I happened to pass by and the display caught my eye... I got a ricotta croissant... I'd been looking for one like this for a while... good, not too buttery, and you could tell it was quality. Next time I'll try the zabaglione cannoli. Great price, €1.50. Friendly and professional staff. Recommended.

09/12/2025: What can I say, maybe a place for skiers only? I don't know, the prices are high and the portions modest, the food quality isn't great but it's not bad either. I wouldn't recommend going there specifically for the food. Sure, the setting in the heart of the Alps is wonderful, but otherwise I'd skip the €11 chairlift ride and eat there. If you're skiing, however, it's a different story.

01/10/2025: A beautiful chalet with a stunning panoramic view of the Alps. You can reach it by chairlift or on foot. A lovely place where you can enjoy delicious traditional mountain dishes.

06/10/2025: No longer Peyrano...it's Peyrano revisited, today, like it or not is a matter of taste...

04/10/2025: We took the guided tour with tasting today. It was all interesting, and I must say the chocolates were delicious. The best was the dark chocolate Ferrari with balsamic vinegar. Highly recommended. The girl who was our guide was very nice and friendly.

19/08/2025: An excellent culinary experience! Every dish is a delight, so much so that it's impossible to choose a favorite: everything is simply exquisite. The atmosphere is intimate and warm, with an authentic feel reminiscent of old trattorias, where you immediately feel part of the family. Perfect even for those just passing through: an absolutely worthwhile stop. Highly recommended!

08/08/2025: Terrible experience – total lack of professionalism I had booked a month in advance, clearly specifying to the owner that it was a very important business lunch with foreign clients. After traveling over 100 km, I found myself facing a closed restaurant, without any warning or communication. No one had the courtesy to notify me, much less answer the phone despite repeated attempts. This was completely inappropriate and unprofessional behavior. I had to quickly find an alternative to avoid making a terrible impression on my guests. The owners demonstrated a total lack of respect and reliability. They don't deserve the trust of their customers.

01/11/2025: It was a revelation... Zurich's white lady and excellent quality pastries and savory snacks. We'll be back.

30/10/2025: I went to one of their wine tastings!! And everything was 10/10! The explanation, the product, and especially the personalized attention! Highly recommended!

09/04/2025: Sabato sera, cena organizzata all'ultimo momento, dove andare per mangiare un buon piatto con un buon bicchiere di vino? Antico Cappelverde ovviamente, chiamo e anche se era un orario un po' al limite ci accolgono con serenità e professionalità. Partiamo col dire che hanno rinnovato la carta (lo fanno spesso seguendo la stagionalità di prodotti e tempo), assaggiamo la tartare Ca'di mat col tuorlo croccante e gocce di robiola di Roccaverano e la tradizione ( un mix di antipasti piemontesi). Primi i loro agnolotti di stufato col loro sugo fatto come la nonna comanda, e gnocchi alla carbonara monferrina, particolari e golosi. Alziamo il tiro con i secondi, la loro bistecca Milano senza osso, la mia esente contorni era 540gr, e il fiocco di filetto con salsa di gamba di pernice..... Spettacolari entrambi. Tavolata da 6, abbiamo fatto fatica, ma abbiamo portato a casa la vittoria con lo stupore genuino del titolare. Non abbiamo preso il dolce, non ci stava più nulla. Concludendo, conto più che giusto, con una qualità altissima e ricerca costante di nuovi piatti della tradizione piemontese ormai dimenticati. Lo stra consiglio a tutti di andarci, non rimarrete delusi, anzi......

11/03/2025: I booked a dinner for my nephew's birthday, there were 15 people and I was almost certain that it would be a nice evening. Wow, what a carefully decorated room, the fabulous menu, all super welcoming. I recommend it. Thanks to Mrs Carlotta and Matteo. The guests were super satisfied

02/10/2025: I usually get Chinese takeout and I have to say that the portions are generous.

27/08/2025: I often come to this restaurant for lunch and dinner. The atmosphere is clean and very quiet. The waiters are very kind. The order is taken by one person and they rarely make mistakes in their advice. They are very professional and the quality of the fish is almost always fresh. For lunch, I recommend the 10 euro menu with Italian mussels, which I especially like.

04/11/2025: The food was excellent, but the prices are a rip-off. They also charge an extra table service fee at the checkout, which is highway robbery. My lunch cost three times what it should have, but once you're at the register, there's no going back.

13/06/2025: The restaurant is absolutely delicious. While it's a bit pricey, quality comes at a price. But it's all within reason and perfectly acceptable. If you value good, high-quality food, this is the place for you. The service was also good, and we felt very comfortable. We'll definitely come back when we're on holiday in the area again. Keep up the good work!

31/03/2025: Chiuso ed aperto in altra sede diversa da Mergozzo... con nostra (e non solo nostra, nucleo familiare di 7 o 8 persone con bimbi al seguito) amara sorpresa visto il mancato avviso. (Vedi riferimenti riportati su Tripadvisor e su "dove mangiare a...." e la mancanza di un cartello nella sede di Mergozzo)

27/08/2025: Very well received despite the language barrier, we were served quickly and in a warm atmosphere! Note to the boss who is super welcoming, we thank him for accepting dogs!

25/08/2025: Nice restaurant with good food. My family and I go there every year for polenta, and I have to say, it never disappoints. It's a shame about the last time, when we didn't make a reservation and showed up at 6:45 PM and asked for a table for dinner. The owner, not very politely, replied, "We're not a nursing home; we serve dinner from 7:30 to 8:00 PM." Needless to say, we were disappointed. Despite everything, this won't affect the quality of the service, the food, or the location.

23/10/2025: Nice place, the only flaw being that it's a bit noisy, perhaps due to the large crowd that evening. It's worth it, though, as I found the pizza to be very good and well-cooked. I recommend it.

18/10/2025: 389 hours for two damn pizzas is not normal

26/11/2025: We went to Bar Zucca for a private event. The private room upstairs was a perfect location, with excellent drinks and plentiful, delicious food. Furthermore, the service was impeccable, thanks to Mr. Dario and his staff.

14/12/2025: More than at the restaurant, and referring to Mr. Alessandro, who organized the lunch on December 13, 2025, a truly starvation menu for €30 per course was offered. They left a small plate to share among 10-15 people. It was a scramble to get a course. Some dishonestly asked for seconds, preventing others from eating. Those who couldn't eat asked for a course, but were denied. At the end of the lunch, a lottery was held for each number, €10, but listen, the money raised, instead of being donated to charities such as a cancer association or a Christmas lunch for those who can't afford it, was donated to the railway museum in Robilante (CN).

29/11/2025: I ate here with my grandmother for lunch. Excellent food, good ingredients, a welcoming atmosphere, attentive and friendly service, and generous and tasty dishes. A great experience, highly recommended!
