19/09/2025: A true and authentic pub, just like it used to be... in the style of the now-closed Red Pub on Corso Casale. A wide selection of beers and traditional cuisine, including hamburgers, sandwiches, hot dogs, and a wide selection of freshly cooked first and second courses. The owner is truly friendly and welcoming, and he single-handedly serves the various tables without letting anyone go without anything. The prices are truly fair. There are few places like this left in Turin, where almost all are now modern in style... the classic, like the Derry Pub, never goes out of style.

15/11/2025: I've been to Paolo Bistrot several times for both lunch and dinner, both to eat in and take out. Excellent home-cooked food, varied, tasty yet light and easy to digest. The staff pays great attention to their customers and welcomes them with a smile. I particularly enjoyed the gnocchi with tomato sauce, the rice with vegetables, the stewed meatballs, the stuffed cabbage, and the stewed cuttlefish with potatoes and peas. An excellent option near the Mauriziano Umberto I Hospital.

31/01/2026: Truly excellent pizzeria. The olive focaccia is exceptional, soft and flavorful. The lady at the cash register is incredibly kind and always available, and all the staff are courteous and always smiling: they make you feel truly welcomed. The takeout pizza arrives still hot and soft, a sign of quality ingredients and great attention to service. For us, it's a real guarantee: when we want to be sure, we always know where to order.

23/12/2025: We discovered "La Pizzeria il Grifo" by chance... and for me, who am super selective when it comes to food, I have to say it passed the test with flying colors!!! The atmosphere is very welcoming and intimate. The owners are kind and helpful, and the waiter, Giuseppe, is also very helpful and polite, never intrusive. As for the cuisine, the chef is excellent... excellent and plentiful dishes... What more can I say? We'll definitely be back, highly recommended. 26/10/2025: Booked a week ago for my dad's birthday, we arrive and the owner tells us that he accidentally cancelled our reservation, okay it can happen, but at least he tries to make amends somehow, instead as if it were normal he apologizes and sends us away.... Unprofessional, be careful if you book call to reconfirm!!!

05/01/2026: Zero consideration, after sitting for 20 minutes we left because we were completely ignored. The cabin was blacklisted.

22/12/2025: Excellent food, friendly staff, beautiful surroundings. Everything was taken care of down to the smallest detail, from the beautifully furnished and well-maintained refuge, to the filtered water included in the price, to the homemade bread and pasta. It was no coincidence that it was packed despite the surrounding slopes being closed (thus remaining somewhat hidden from the others).

01/03/2026: Bad experience... We ordered buffalo mozzarella that tasted like basil, low-quality raw ham, and a pizza platter rated 6...the lady serving the tables took slices of bread from a plastic bag, put them in the bag, and served them at the table (in my opinion, it should be done in the kitchen, not in full view of the customers). The pizza chef even leaned out to greet someone with a vape in his hand. I may be picky, but as they say, "Out of sight, out of mind."

08/02/2026: A neat spot on the city's central promenade. The Tonno pizza is fantastic—nothing to add, nothing to subtract, and it's a generous size. I'm sure other versions taste just as good or better. The salad is okay, though not particularly impressive. Definitely a place worth recommending.

22/02/2026: Okay, pizza, okay, service... but the food is absolutely awful! The pasta is overcooked and tasteless.

11/02/2026: We always have carry out pizzas - delicious. The staff are friendly. Be aware that depending on how busy they are it might take some time. Ne vale la Pena.

12/02/2026: Strangely, there's no friendliness or customer service here: you're just the number on your order. At 3:30 PM, there are few customers, but they still managed to mess up the takeout order: the macchiato became an espresso, with sugar but no spoon; the Happy Meal didn't include the carrots you ordered, but fries; the croissant was placed in a paper bag, without even a napkin... And if you say hello, no one answers! Never again.

01/12/2025: Always found it great... now the bitter truth... I went back about 10 days ago... no more pizzas... oh well... the waiter, being a kid, needs a bit of training... (I mean... the wooden fried food basket is nice... but where do I put the sauces and chicken wing bones?) The sandwiches finally arrived... a simple speck and brie... piping hot on the outside, frozen on the inside... okay... there could be a mistake... I'm asking if it can be reheated... it arrives burnt on the outside and still cold on the inside... plus it's crumbling... (I've had restaurants for years... and frozen bread does that...)... I'll have to see who's in the kitchen and the dining room again... the only thing is, the cashier or owner is really very kind and in any case he didn't charge for the sandwich.

09/11/2025: Excellent place run by friendly and helpful owners. The place is welcoming and very large. They also have an indoor room where they host concerts and comedy nights. The beers are very good and the food is very tasty. We'll definitely be back.
