28/01/2026: Unfortunately my experience was not very positive, I only ate sushi fish and prawns and unfortunately for a few days after dinner I had intestinal problems, I do not recommend it unless you have a strong stomach 😂
11/01/2026: Very large restaurant with many tables. Service wasn't the fastest, but that was probably due to it being a Friday night and being crowded. The food was good for an all-you-can-eat establishment, and the menu was well-presented, with adequate explanations and photos. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean. They're also open on holidays.

20/02/2026: Friendliness 10/10, they were polite and welcoming throughout the stay. The only flaw was the rooms were a bit old, but still very clean. We will definitely be back.
14/02/2026: I stayed for three nights and felt incredibly pampered by the staff, who were attentive and focused on my well-being. Extremely friendly, the room was clean, cozy, and especially warm, considering the cold weather I stayed in. As someone who walks a lot, I was very comfortable. Near the hotel, there are restaurants, bars, a pharmacy, and even a supermarket. I will definitely be back.

28/12/2025: I've been coming here for years... the food quality is excellent... unfortunately the bathrooms are dirty and smelly... there's no paper to dry your hands... and there's only cold water... so seeing this makes me have doubts about the kitchen too... I wonder if it's possible to have difficulty maintaining a 5 square meter bathroom? The prices are very high.
28/12/2025: 700 gram corazon de lomo fillet, perfect, perfectly cooked, perfect sangria, highly recommended, price is high but consistent with the quality.

06/10/2025: I expected a better pizza from the reviews, but at least mine was very salty, and let's just say I've had better ones. Plus, the service was so-so. As soon as we walked in, one waitress was on the phone (and was most of the time), and the other turned her back on us and went to the kitchen. The dessert was very good. The place is very, very nice. The bill was very steep.

29/07/2025: Viajando con un grupo de 33 personas, cenamos en este atractivo restaurante anoche. Pasando por el comedor principal hacia atrás hay un comedor al aire libre con plantas y arbustos. El servicio fue rápido y eficiente. Empezamos con una ensalada mixta, que tenía muchos trozos de tomate. Lo siguiente fue muy buen risotto de hongos, y una galette de queso y espinacas. Me hubiera gustado tener algo de guarnición en el plato.
20/07/2025: Certo, non sarà il Grand Hotel Et Des Iles Borromees, ma se cercate un buon alberghetto tranquillo, in pieno centro a Stresa, a 3 minuti a piedi dal lago e dall'imbarcadero, con camere essenziali ma pulitissime e perfettamente insonorizzate con bagno con sanitari rinnovati, e letto supercomodo, il Fiorentino fa per voi. Molto gentili il signor Federico e i suoi collaboratori, pronti a soddisfare ogni necessità; convenzionale, ma con prodotti di qualità dolci e salati (veramente ottime le marmellate) la colazione, con bevande calde espresse direttamente dal bar. Prezzo nella norma. Possibilità di usufruire di un ottimo servizio ristorante (che ho già valutato positivamente in passato).

We had the following appetizers: Raw meat salad (more than decent), Vitello tonnato (good meat, tuna sauce a bit light), Lingua al verde (good and delicate), Tomino da Carlino (average), Sweet and sour peppers with tuna (good). For the first course: Borage plin with butter and sage (agnolottini. Average). For the second course: Mixed fried fish (good, but a little lacking). Two 1-liter bottles of water, 1/4 liter of wine (good). For those looking for simplicity, EXCELLENT. PRICE €30
14/08/2025: Simple and informal. Excellent, authentic ingredients. Tables under the porch and on the lawn, all shaded. Fixed menu every day with two choices of first and second courses. Polenta on Sundays.
I recommend the Piedmontese appetizer...excellent knife-cut tartare!

18/02/2026: I was completely taken aback by finding myself in a bar/pastry shop; I remembered the previous management and thought I'd chosen the wrong location for the all-you-can-eat meal I'd booked.
Instead, welcomed by the engaging wait staff, we were able to try several exquisite dishes and went home satisfied.
Forget appearances and follow your gut!

15/07/2025: Il posto ( non lochescion per favore! ) è bellissimo, informale quanto basta, rustico come si deve ed accogliente. Antipasti fantastici, non le solite tre fettine di mortadella ma molto, molto di più. E la carne vale la pena da sola della visita. Ci tornerò sicuramente e le persone a cui l'ho raccomandato sono state tutte davvero soddisfatte.
29/06/2025: come sempre locale e cibo top.....prima volta che mangiamo all'esterno..(di solito andiamo nel periodo freddo)....qualche zanzara..ma' e' normale in mezzo al verde...antipasti con verdure buonissimi e ovviamente le "regine" fiorentine e costate cucinate sulla griglia...una nota di merito al cuoco che con questo caldo stare vicino al fuoco e' una sofferenza.....
