01/03/2026: We had lunch here today, and calling what they served us food seems rather embarrassing. The small plate of spinach, probably stolen from a hospital, was served with the waiter's finger, dipped in the 2 liters of water that accompanied the aforementioned small plate. The sliced ​​beef, served on a few lettuce leaves, arrived like this: 4 pieces of meat clearly reheated in the microwave, extremely tough and completely tasteless, I dare say, probably reused from another discarded plate. I'm glad I went, because I've now made it clear that I'll never set foot in there again.

27/08/2025: This accommodation offers apartments and rooms. We had a very well-appointed duplex apartment. The view was splendid. Quiet. Excellent bed. Fully equipped kitchen. It's located in a perfectly renovated building in an ancient village. Possible excursions starting directly from the property. Friendly and responsive staff. The restaurant was also good, although we expected something more, but it was still decent. The road up is quite winding and has a few potholes.

22/08/2025: Special Silence is the main ingredient, followed by the fantastic location overlooking the valleys, close to the Cyclamen Trail; a wonderful stopover, an exclusive stay. The property is very well managed, both in terms of the rooms/apartments and the common areas, from the pool to the restaurant; this, in addition to the friendliness, helpfulness, and discretion of the entire staff.

24/12/2025: This country is really under all kinds of criticism. I asked about a shower and a short woman with glasses told me there are no showers in all of Italy. Is that true? Or if there is a shower, the water will be cold or very dirty. I have no words. In Germany and Austria, you pay but you get a normal shower. Unfortunately, I happened to stay in Italy and I was left without a shower.

21/12/2025: I had read the reviews and we decided to book!! The name was spot on, but the carestius or disunest was also good... We had three appetizers and three second courses with a side of two chips and a caponata (cold and covered in Ollio). The veal tuna appetizer was 5 tasteless slices for 12 euros, the second course, which was also oily and tasteless, was 16/18 euros. At least the chips were good, let's add a glass of water. Half a liter of wine on tap, which I could already smell had a vinegary aftertaste before pouring it! To top it off, we were near the door with another couple, and we were in a draft for the entire meal. Luckily, they got up several times to close it because the handle was broken... in conclusion, we paid 104 euros for having eaten very little, and not even well, and even before the bill we had decided we would never return! Two weeks ago, in another place, we ate everything from appetizers to a trio of desserts, coffee, and a digestive, for €105. However, whoever wants to try it, try it...

25/10/2025: Taking advantage of a coupon on Facebook, we enjoyed a truly EXCELLENT seafood tasting menu! The service, however, is, to be generous, homely (the waiter has died). The place, specifically the dining room, is unsightly. Unfortunately, the structure and furnishings are worthy of a suburban bowling alley. We'd definitely not return to eat blind. Recommended for those who don't pay attention to floors, walls, decorations, etc.

13/10/2025: A charming little place in the heart of Spina Reale. We ordered appetizers and two first courses. The Castelmagno risotto was excellent. Everything was delicious and top-quality. Excellent service and courtesy. We'll be back.

28/11/2025: We came here because two locals recommended the pizzeria. The pizza is very thin, I like the style... but it seems undercooked. I don't know if the dough was good; it took me a long time to digest. Yet I also had a light pizza, a marinara... The others also had a hard time digesting it, so I think it has to do with the dough and especially the cooking; the inside seemed raw. The person who had the mozzarella pizza looked like it had burnt mozzarella, with black spots on it... Just look at the photos. You can't improvise as a pizza chef; it's a serious profession. But the worst thing is that it took us over an hour to get our pizzas. The place is nice. The guys are also kind, but you can't wait more than an hour for a pizza. The free chiacchiere with raw ham was appreciated; they were also quite good. These too, however, took an hour, but whatever. ----++ I'm replying to the owner who makes excuses and gives random times: the pizzas were raw! I've been eating pizza for 40 years, in every region! Please don't make fun of me! Admit your mistake and be humble! Instead of offending customers. By the way, I also brought two people from abroad; you made the worst impression. I was also kind enough not to mention how the guys behind the counter seemed to be laughing and mocking. The conversation didn't start after 20 minutes! And we waited for the entire hour! Be more humble and polite!

13/08/2025: Excellent place, everything was neat and spotlessly clean. Good service. The coffee they served was excellent, with a blend of flavors that I really enjoyed. As soon as I'm back in Rivarolo, I'll be back to try it again.
