10/04/2025: Locale in centro a Borgomanero , piacevole atmosfera . Buona scelta di primi ( molto curati i risotti ) e ottima carta dei vini . Servizio al tavolo cortese e preciso . bravi

24/03/2025: Con l’amico Luca siamo stati ospiti nella Hostaria Orcobacco di Borgomanero giovedì sera. La scelta è stata fatta in base a commenti positivi che abbiamo raccolto da amici e che ci hanno invitato a provarlo. Il locale all’esterno è anonimo ma entrando si percepisce un’atmosfera piacevole, l’ambiente carino, i tavoli ben disposti e temperatura gradevole, dato che c’è una bella stufa in ceramica. Il menù è esposto su una lavagna a tutta parete, si compone di 3 antipasti, 3 primi, 3 secondi e 3 dolci. Discorda da quello inserito sul sito dove vi sono 4 secondi. La nostra scelta è ricaduta su: Flan di topinambur con fonduta di toma Maccagno, il flan aveva un gusto appena appena accennato, la fonduta ha dato un po’ di tono. Crema di vongole veraci con pane croccante alle erbe e crumble di guanciale, al mio amico piacciono i toni decisi per cui lo ha apprezzato. Agnolotti ripieni di gorgonzola riserva con pere decana e burro alla maggiorana, la pasta piuttosto spessa (va a gusti) il gorgonzola riserva sovrastava il piatto. Petto d'anatra con purè di pastinaca, salsa al whisky e amarene, purtroppo ho dovuto far togliere le amarene per una mia problematica ed il piatto è stato inevitabilmente trasformato. La carne era cotta, il purè era ben eseguito, il tutto di mio gradimento. Tiramisù classico, purtroppo non ci siamo proprio… i savoiardi erano asciutti e con troppo mascarpone. Una vera delusione. Servizio cortese e molto presente. Il conto ammonta a 104 euro, con due calici di franciacorta, i prezzi del menu sono tutti esposti sul sito. È un locale da provare.

21/03/2025: Great bar to have a coffee. As for the "restaurant": I can't comment on the fixed lunch menu (€13) because I didn't choose it. I took the mixed fried seafood that was recommended to me (€15), but I didn't like it. Prawns (2) overcooked and tasteless, squid and anchovies just decent. Plus it stayed on my stomach (and I digest stones too). Very poor service, terrible house wine. Ah, I forgot: verbal account and no receipt.

24/08/2025: Caffe Vergnano in Sansicario Alto...we're always here! We start the day with their delicious freshly filled brioches, end it with one of their pizzas or an excellent burger, and then enjoy a fantastic aperitivo. The friendly and helpful staff always welcomes you with a smile. What can we say, Vergnano is home to us!

21/08/2025: There were two of us, Wednesday evening with our dog, without a reservation. The staff were very welcoming, the place was wonderful, charming, and definitely worth stopping for at least a coffee. We had farinata with toma cheese and onion. It was a standard farinata, nothing special, but the toma cheese was tasty and delicious. Two first courses: polenta and sausage, good but not your typical mountain polenta; I'd say it was decent, well-presented. The cheese gnocchi were so-so, probably pre-packaged, and the cheese sauce could be improved. Overall, we'll be back because we really enjoyed it. The food was good, but nothing special to report. If you're passing through, it might be a good place to stop. A bottle of water + cover charge... total for two: €40

13/09/2025: Mac is Mac. Kids have fun just being there. The staff is very kind, patient, and ready to help with anything they need.

12/09/2025: Chaotic and noisy place, to communicate you have to use the chats and the music contributes to increasing the discomfort, cleanliness leaves much to be desired, inattentive and slow staff, small portions, we know that the sandwiches cannot live up to the advertising, but these cannot even be called sandwiches, they all seem like the basic Happy Meal sandwich, where the ingredients are a mirage, I advise against going during holidays because it is impossible.

06/07/2025: Terrible pizza, I think you don't see pizzas like this in the city. Mozzarella that seems rubber, hard dough that as soon as the pizza cools the crust is practically inedible. Service with waiting and size of the pizza equal to that of a baby pizza, paid as a normal pizza. Never again, I do not recommend the pizzeria 100% the products are poor.

13/05/2025: Questo locale si trova fuori dal centro di Vercelli, l'ambiente è quello anni 70 e il menù è vasto, in quanto si può scegliere tra diversi primi piatti, secondi e pizze. La qualità del cibo è paragonata al prezzo, quindi nella media. Il personale è gentile e cordiale.

24/07/2025: Vengo spesso a pranzo in questo locale, ha un’ottima posizione sul lago d’Orta, panorama mozzafiato, molto grande sia internamente, dove sono fruibili due piani, sia esternamente dove c’è un ampio spiazzo ombreggiato con molti tavolini. Servizio rapido e cortese, camerieri efficienti e sorridenti. La scelta dei piatti è davvero ampia, e la qualità delle materie prime elevata, si mangia sempre bene con un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Unico neo il bagno, veramente non adeguato a un posto così bello!!

11/05/2025: In attesa della partenza del vaporetto abbiamo consumato,per due volte,un pranzo veloce in questo cocktail bar che serve anche tavola calda,tutto bene anche il personale è gentile e disponibile,ottimo il mio risotto,prezzi in linea.

08/03/2025: One star is too much. I should have had my doubts when I saw how few people were there. Expensive and the food was terrible. Frozen fish, not cooked properly. The waitress didn't know how to set up the tables and wandered around with plates in her hands. We waited quite a while to pay because the owner didn't know how to use the cash register and had to call a waiter.

26/08/2025: Good pizza, but I don't recommend the fries because they're often burned. Very friendly staff and fast service.

08/06/2025: I spent €14 for two pizzas, they arrived small pizzas, which look like the ones you buy at the supermarket frozen. I have no words

17/08/2025: We went to eat mixed fried Piedmontese food on August 15th (booked for 5 people, including 3 vegetarians and 2 non-vegetarians). When booking, we were told to remember the 3 vegetarian items when paying so we could get a discount on the total price. Positive points (few): a slightly meager Alba raw meat appetizer, a varied mixed fried food that was good but not excellent, punctual service, negative points: to make room for more people, the internal room was packed with no possibility of comfortable tables (all very narrow and cramped), no air conditioning and simple fans on a hot day and with only the draft from a window and the entrance in a closed room... Not even pigs are offered a similar arrangement, moreover serving mixed fried food that raised the temperature significantly in an already hot environment... Furthermore, the exit from the kitchen near the only bathroom was always with the door open and an excessive coming and going of people with unpleasant odors in the room... Then when it came to the bill they made us pay in full for all five of us, not respecting the agreement of the discount for the 3 vegetarians made over the phone.... In conclusion, it is a restaurant that has potential but to make money it minimizes the customer's culinary experience by sacrificing comfort and basic services... Negative rating 80%... I do not recommend it!

25/06/2025: Ottimo gelato realmente artigianale; ottimo servizio e porzioni adeguate. Gentili, carine e disponibili le commesse. Mancano solo i tavolini fuori per avere esperienza gustativa perfetta.

10/08/2025: I can't comment on the bar services I've experienced; I think only under the previous management. The "To Good to Go" bag Lots of croissants placed directly in a plastic bag without the usual bar bags... Thrown out with contempt Those who do "To Good to Go" do it to avoid wasting food, not to be judged...absurd I won't add anything else because I haven't tried any other services.

28/07/2025: We stopped for lunch at this cute, clean place. We ordered three delicious stuffed focaccias, but we barely finished them because they were so huge. If we'd known, my daughter and I would have at least gotten one between us. The ingredients were very good, though they were sliced potatoes instead of creamed potatoes. Aside from the rather slow service, I highly recommend this place. The price was fair: three focaccias, two small beers, a small bottle of water, and three coffees, €37.
