I'll be honest, only the bread and the service were good...

The place is very nice and the pizza is delicious...but waiting more than 50 minutes for it is not good.

The longest-running pizzeria in Novara and the surrounding area. They've always respected Campanian traditions while embracing innovation. Generous and well-prepared fish and meat main courses. Vegetarian and vegan options available. Homemade desserts.

I'm updating my review: Since I was downtown for some appointments, I opted for a lunch break at the landmark restaurant in Piazza Cesare Battisti. From the daily specials, I chose pennette with ragù and parmesan shavings: the pasta was cooked al dente, with a flavorful tomato sauce and a generous portion. Followed by a classic dessert: chocolate panna cotta, served in a tempting way, with a dollop of whipped cream and powdered sugar on a large, modern plate. The service, with a manageable turnout, was more than adequate for the lunchtime hour, as was the bill. The staff is friendly and attentive, the outdoor seating is spacious, and the restaurant is well-maintained. Overall, it remains a practical and reliable option. ——————————————————— Historic restaurant in the heart of the city, established for three generations. Four rooms on two levels with the ever-present outdoor seating—plus a special room with a round table—are the ideal venue for a business or family lunch, as well as for gatherings with friends, groups, and special occasions. Daily menu, à la carte menu, and special menus. Candlelight dinner available on Thursday evenings.

I would have given it 5 stars without a doubt. The food was truly delicious: The fried gnocco with exceptional gorgonzola fondue, the vegetables with melted gorgonzola cheese on top were also excellent. The pumpkin tortelli? Top. And the Chili Novarese (as pictured)—stewed beans, Fedriga ragù, lard, and spicy gorgonzola— an explosion of strong flavors, unusual for my palate, but precisely for this reason, much appreciated. The house wine, a good Barbera, also paired beautifully with the meal. So why 4 stars and not 5? Just one piece of advice: improve the bathroom hygiene!

Even on a somewhat chaotic day, we were greeted kindly. The food was good and reasonably priced. Friendly staff.

Nice place, and a fabulous pizza menu, especially with real DOP mozzarella. Well located, and parking not far away.

Large portions, excellent service

Good morning, I'm a regular customer here. I've been coming for many years, but I have to pay for the price increase. Today, I went there at lunchtime after running errands, so I went there to eat. I ordered a salad, thinking it was a bowl of salad, and I was presented with a platter with a small bowl of almonds, orange, and smoked salmon, and toasted bread with butter, as listed on the menu (14 euros). I wasn't expecting a deconstructed salad like they do nowadays. Still hungry because the portion was small, I ordered dessert: tiramisu (7 euros), which was quite good, and to finish, coffee (2 euros), and a small bottle of water (2 euros). Total with cover charge: 27 euros. In my opinion, this is excessive for the amount served. The service was good. I'm forced to stop coming here, especially since we had already paid quite a bit a few weeks ago for a pasta dish and a dessert. Kind regards, Ilaria Familiari

One of the best pizzas in Novara, it has always been top notch since my school days (about 30 years ago).
