26/08/2025: I go every day to get food, and in the evening there's a short, blonde girl who serves, who's as unpleasant as can be. She's always pissed off, and if she waits a second longer because she's choosing what to order, she does things badly... bags all dirty... in short, if she's there, the service is terrible. Try changing her.

04/08/2025: Good pizza, but too long a wait The pizza is objectively good, although it doesn't quite meet my personal tastes because it's very thin and soft—I prefer a crispier crust. That said, the quality of the dough and ingredients is unquestionable. The staff was very kind and helpful, especially the waitress who served us, who was always courteous and smiling. Unfortunately, what negatively impacted the experience was the excessive wait times: we waited over 45 minutes for a pizza, in a place that wasn't crowded. This aspect definitely needs improvement. Overall, a nice and clean place, but I recommend being patient.

09/08/2025: This is one of our favorite restaurants in Rome. It was recommended to us back in 2016 and we took our parents here in 2019. The food is beyond exquisite. Every bite that you take absolutely melts in your mouth. They use the freshest ingredients possible to make every morsel 'pop' with flavor. The wine is very fresh and good. What we like about Da Giovanni's is the prices. You can't beat the food and the prices, it is so reasonably in comparison to everything else we found in Rome. The best part is the dessert, the Lemon Cello cheesecake. It literally is one of the best things I have had in Rome. If you are in Rome, you owe it to yourself to check this out. This is a staple of ours every time we visit. it is sooo good!!

08/08/2025: Pasta portions were small but very reasonably priced. According to other reviews this is what an authentic Roman restaurant should be like. I'm not Italian so I can't comment on that but it definitely did not feel anything near as touristy as other restaraunts in the area. We went during lunch time and it was quiet, the only other diners looked like Italian office workers which was is an endorsement in my books. I'd reccomend giving it shot.

04/08/2025: Sunday lunch the day before their summer closure. Overall, the overall impression is positive regarding the staff, the location, the quality of the food, and the price. A very sore point, however, is the presentation of their menu: it seems rushed, compiled on a tablet five minutes earlier, incomplete, lacking many images, and lacking a description of the ingredients for each dish, so much so that when "meat" is listed, you never know what meat that dish will contain. I consider this a major flaw, but one that is very easily remedied and fixable.

14/07/2025: Another evening, another satisfaction. The usual good Spritz, five euros, which never hurts with friends! And as if that weren't enough, they also brought us a free bowl of chips. What can I say, an evening with friends is always the best 😊 .

10/06/2025: changed management .. passed under the friendly Chinese clutches ... cocktails in free fall. among the customers I noticed women of dubious morality ... it would be no big deal but the prices have increased ... shame ... let's hope it doesn't close 😂😂😂

11/07/2025: Stato per caffé e croissant 🥐. Tutto buono e o gestori gentili e premurosi. Ero di passaggio ma se passo a fossano ritorno sicuramente.

20/07/2025: Fuimos a este restaurante porque no podíamos entrar en el que queríamos. Resultó ser un golpe de suerte - Amici es genial! Empezamos con parmesano de berenjena y burrata. Ambos fantásticos. Luego, tuve los ravioles plin y mi hijo tuvo el osso bucco. Finalmente, de postre tuvimos el pistacho semifreddo. Tenemos un litro de rosa de la casa. Volvería a este restaurante de nuevo, fue genial. Todo el mundo era muy amable y servicial. Era hermoso sentarse afuera bajo las vides.

12/07/2025: Ho ordinato un tagliere di salumi e formaggi ossolani (come riportato nel menù) ma, soprattutto per quanto riguarda i salumi, mi son sembrati di tutto (anche se di qualità) tranne che ossolani. Per il resto discreto locale particolarmente gradito ai turisti, buon servizio e prezzi nella media.

08/09/2025: Evening of September 7, 2025. Poor food, mediocre service. 85-minute wait between the appetizer and main course. Dessert sold out. The bill was steep, taking into account the treatment I received.

08/09/2025: The food is good and the location is beautiful, but it's a shame about the incredibly long wait times. For example, the second course arrived at two different times, 15 minutes apart, so we ate one of the two courses cold. Also, considering the location (and the prices), I expected more from the service, but instead it was a bit lacking (missing condiments and cutlery when changing plates). We pointed out the insane wait times when we were asked how it went and were told, "Eeeeh. It's €66." I don't think we'll be back, but congratulations on the location!

25/04/2025: 3 cups of ice cream in a day of cycling. Stopped there by chance. The boy and girl who served us were fantastic....like their tattoos ahaha...we will return for an aperitif. Really nice
