10/02/2025: We stopped by this self-service restaurant around 1:00 PM for a bite to eat. The selection is varied, the place is clean, and the prices are extremely fair, all things considered. The food is well-cooked. The only complaint is that the atmosphere is a bit bland, but if I were to pass by and have little time, I would definitely go back.

17/09/2025: I didn't even manage to sit down once, there's always a queue even with free tables... and you have to wait standing outside on the street👎

11/09/2025: Here you can eat good pizza and much more, the food is excellent too. Friendly staff, indoor and outdoor spaces. Convenient parking and no barriers for disabled access.

09/09/2025: The food was average, nothing galactic. I admit the service left a lot to be desired; they take forever to take your order and serve you. I wasn't crazy about the atmosphere; the photos made it look much more satisfying.

25/08/2025: The aperitif menu is truly inadequate. You offer an aperitif with house selections, which are actually just three biscuits, something you'd find in any bar, where you'd eat more and better, especially with a quality bottle. Not recommended.

21/09/2025: Coming back to Mamma Ester is always a pleasure. Today I was particularly impressed, both by the quality and quantity of the food and by the attentive and impeccable service, which is truly rare these days. The octopus and porcini salad is top notch. I absolutely recommend it 👌

02/06/2025: I have been to this pastry shop/bar for breakfast a few times and wanted to try the pastries by ordering a chocolate and cream cake, unfortunately the chocolate was a non-existent layer and completely tasteless... and I know a thing or two about chocolate... in fact it was a nauseating cream cake... for the amount I paid I expected the ingredients to be of high quality, and above all I expected the ingredients to be there!!!

07/06/2025: We took a special pizza menu for 13 euros, an unworthy pizza is better, a frozen pizza with all due respect for frozen pizzas but maybe it was frozen but of a poor choice then there was the dessert included and we took a tiramisu that I only hope it doesn't hurt us it was so poor. Anyway they saw us tonight they won't see us again.

03/07/2025: Prepare yourself for a nightmare kitchen experience. Food literally thrown on the plates as it comes. I would say an experience absolutely not to be repeated.

03/07/2025: The style is that of the typical "piola", with a clean and welcoming environment. Fast and friendly service. Fresh daily dishes with simple, genuine but good quality cuisine. Really basic and convenient lunch prices. I will definitely be back.

10/06/2025: I've rarely been turned away so rudely. We didn't even get to eat, even though my wife and I, along with our three daughters, had eagerly anticipated the half-hour walk to get to this oh-so-great "restaurant." When I saw the long-haired, yawning waiter behind the counter drying a glass, I wanted to leave right away. The man had obviously never really worked. When my wife politely asked if we could enjoy something to eat (at 7:30 a.m.) in the completely deserted dining room, he waved us off. He apparently not only didn't want to speak English, he couldn't speak it either. And he sent us away. Funnily enough, they added, the restaurant was completely booked later on, too. When we walked past again later after an excellent meal at the neighboring restaurant (see review of La Cucina), the restaurant was still deserted. The waiter must have also fallen asleep.
