30/06/2025: Unwelcoming atmosphere. I ordered a peach juice that they didn't have, so I had to settle for an apricot one. The service was decent and the prices fair, but unfortunately my experience was ruined by an unpleasant episode: the lady (probably the owner) commented in a disrespectful way on the macchiatone, calling it "a product of the south" and adding phrases in Apulian dialect with an ironic tone, referring to the latter as "Africans". Comments like that, in addition to being out of place, are not acceptable in a place open to the public. I will not return.

11/09/2025: I'm telling you this because I was shocked. I'm the kind of person who advocates that if something works, it's fair to pay for it, at least I think I can be the same old idiot. I go to Porta Nuova and I needed to urinate. I politely ask where the bathroom is, and they point me to the Via Sacchi side. (Okay, I entered Via Nizza, bad luck). I run. So, if it were easy to find with giant signs, NO, if it were big and spacious, NO, if it were Gucci flooring, NO, but I discovered there are TURNSTILES thanks to two guys with Apple Watches who were paying €1.20 to go to the bathroom. AND A LADY WHO DIDN'T EXACTLY HAVE A SORBONNE GRADUATE KINDLY EXPLAINED TO ME THAT EITHER THIS OR I WAS OUT. Well, Carla Bruni, for €1.20 I pay €3 and go to the bar where I have table service and a clean bathroom where I can get my son changed. Are we crazy or am I old and I'm 45 years old... I don't know

27/08/2025: The railway stations has got only one toilet available at platform 20, but it's not for free. If you take a coffee in a bar, don't count on a restroom there. That's a shame.

11/06/2025: Sono tornato dopo 1 anno circa in questa storica pasticceria , stesso tavolo ( sporco ) , da consumazione di clienti precedenti , tra l’altro non l’unico ,avrei preferito all’esterno , ma sui tavoli svolazzavano i piccioni che banchettavano . 26/08/2025: A dinner to forget. We were a group of eight: six of us ordered pizza, while the others chose dishes from the menu. The wait was incredibly long: after over an hour, the dishes arrived, but without the drinks. The pizzas arrived after an hour and twenty minutes. I'll never go there again, that's for sure.

25/07/2025: I've known Gelateria Testa since I moved to the city many years ago. I often go there in the winter for the hot chocolate with cream, which is always a guarantee. I've also tried the gelato and was very pleased. I asked the staff for advice on pairings and they invited me to try the unique and intense "after height" flavor, which I paired with melon: a combination I loved. The atmosphere is welcoming and spacious, making it comfortable even during the busiest times. The cones are competitively priced, the cream is always delicious, and the quality is consistent year-round. A solid gelato shop with a wide and carefully curated selection. Definitely worth a visit.

09/07/2025: The gelato is really good, creamy and flavorful; you can definitely taste it's artisanal. The only downside is the industrial cones, but that's not a big deal for me. I got the stracciatella and vanilla flavors.

06/08/2025: I was there on Tuesday for lunch with four friends, the food was very good, we ate the exquisite Panissa, and the appetizers were also very good, good value for money, very satisfied, I will return as soon as possible

27/05/2025: We were passing by with our bikes and we asked to eat a quick dish. They were super kind and in a few minutes they prepared a table outside for us as we had asked and a fabulous plate of delicious agnolotti! Honest prices and excellent quality, I absolutely recommend it!

The price was more than fair, the staff were always available, the rooms were clean, there was private parking, and I can only give the food a 10! Abundant, fresh, and super tasty! The staff: a 10, very kind, super helpful, and super fast, I felt at home! I would gladly return; in fact, if I'm within a 20-30 km radius, I know where to stay! Thank you so much for everything!

10/07/2025: For years now, if I'm in the area for work, even if I have to travel a bit to get there, it doesn't matter. Il Cascinale is like being at home; with the owner, we laugh and joke, yes, the food is really good, the breakfast is also good, the rooms have comfortable beds.
