16/08/2025: The food was good, but not exceptional. The location was beautiful, very well-maintained, and the staff was knowledgeable and courteous. Excellent wine selection. We were disappointed, after asking for advice on the daily specials, to find ourselves served an extremely high bill for the area and the quality of the produce, and disproportionate to the menu prices. Overall, good, but watch out for off-menu items.

18/10/2025: My experience at this place was terrible. I didn't like the place; it smells so old, with dirty mirrors, tables too high for the seating, the lady serving was rather unfriendly, but above all, the food I ordered: lasagna alla bolognese. I thought that since it was an osteria, they'd cook the lasagna well, with lots of béchamel and ragù, as is traditional. Instead, I received a plate that looked completely unappealing; it seemed covered in a dull film. When I cut the pasta with a fork, I realized that the bottom layer was hard, dry, and almost burnt. The lasagna was just pasta, without its trademark ingredients. I tried to eat some despite everything, but after a few forkfuls, I couldn't stand it anymore. The lady asked me if everything was okay, but I was honest and said I didn't like it at all. She saw the plate was almost full. Finally, my husband gets his coffee. It wasn't possible to have it diluted with hot milk because we had a milk frother. All we had to do was heat the milk in a saucepan. At the cashier, I expected not to have to pay for my dish in full; if she had been a lady, she wouldn't have charged for it at all. Instead, my uneaten lasagna cost me 16 euros!

15/09/2025: Spectacular gelato, a huge selection of vegan flavors—not just the usual fruit flavors, but finally, many exceptional creams. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Best vegan gelato in Turin 👍

13/09/2025: I hate to write this review too, but the chocolate ice cream I got was bland, had virtually no flavor, and the ice cream felt like it was a little frozen.

18/10/2025: Everything was excellent. Four stars because tradition is certainly a value, but sometimes even small concessions to modernity can add that extra touch to an otherwise excellent experience.

16/08/2025: Avoidable. They should state whether the food is frozen. Some dishes don't match the menu. If I order breaded porcini mushrooms, I shouldn't get frozen porcini mushroom scraps, which I can also find at the supermarket. The only plus is the view.

21/06/2025: Aperitif with friends: the vegetarian option was disappointing, they practically removed the meat part from the non-vegetarian menu and therefore we practically had less to eat. While on the one hand they offer a platter of cold cuts and cheeses, in the vegetarian one you cannot leave only 3 pieces of cheese, an alternative to cold cuts should be found.

13/06/2025: I ate the creamed cod, but unfortunately I didn't like it. The dish was served with a cream of carrots and blueberry puree. Not only that the cod was bland, tasteless, there was not a trace of garlic or bay leaves or pepper, a shame because I really like cod.

06/08/2025: I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, while walking down a small street. It also offers takeout options. The cuisine is of Ligurian origin (Genoa region), delicious, rich, and original, prepared fresh daily using fresh ingredients. The welcome is warm and friendly. What a wonderful discovery! We'll be back with pleasure.

31/10/2025: Finally, a real, contemporary #pizzeria! A very beautiful and modern place in the heart of #alba The place offers 6 different types of #dough and therefore 6 different products. From classic #pizza to various pseudo-focaccias, crunchy, crumbly, or soft, etc... We had the pizza regina, which is their version of the #pizzamargherita, and a crunchy one with #prosciuttocrudo and #burrata. Let's start with the #pizza, which is definitely excellent, especially for the truly high-quality ingredients and the excellent cooking. The dough rises beautifully; I found it to be halfway between a Neapolitan and a whole wheat pizza. I liked it, even though classic, well-made pizzas surpass it. Kudos to the croccante, on a much higher level. The dough rises well and is just the right amount of crunch, not too much, but just enough to make it enjoyable. Top ingredients, the #ham is exceptional and made the difference; I'd buy it again. This place also offers various #puff pastry #desserts, as the dough is at the heart of the project. We had a #gianduia #nyroll and a pistachio #saccottino. Incredible nyroll, perfect dough, soft and just the right amount of sweet with a devastating gianduia cream. The #saccottinio rose perfectly, the pistachio cream was good, but two notches below the roll. I would try the #singleportions, they looked amazing. The staff was absolutely friendly and knowledgeable and accommodated our various needs. If you come to Alba, you can't miss this place! 26/08/2025: One beautiful summer Sunday, there were 24 of us and we arranged to meet for lunch... The location was beautiful, the food was 4 appetizers, 2 first courses, a second course, dessert, and coffee... drinks included in the price.... Great for returning, everything was delicious and homemade. The ravioli were spectacular!
