20/01/2025: The place is a bit secluded and apparently anonymous from the outside but good food, excellent choice of wines. The reduction on the scampi cream left a little to be desired but everything else was superlative. The mixed seafood appetizers and the semi-cold almond dessert are excellent.

We had dinner on New Year's Eve and although the restaurant was full, the waiting times were acceptable, the staff in the dining room and in the kitchen were very kind, polite and welcoming. The dishes mainly based on fresh fish were very tasty. very nice and clean environment, located a stone's throw from the city center. Prices are normal

05/11/2024: Era da tempo che non andavo a Formia a trovare degli amici. Dopo una piacevole giornata di mare abbiamo deciso di andare in questo locale dove ero stato in precedenza, scelta molto azzeccata pesce ottimo.

09/02/2025: Cucina tipica genovese, menù essenziale, con fuori menù secondo offerta del giorno. Abbiamo scelto antipasto ligure, le classiche trofie al pesto, coniglio alla genovese e frittura di pesce. Tutto eccellente, accompagnato dalla descrizione puntuale di come il piatto era preparato, dalla zona di acquisto delle materie prime (es abbiamo avuto una lezione specifica sulle zone di coltivazione del basilico migliore) fino al tipo di cottura. Ambiente familiare, simpatici e molto cordiali i due titolari, che ci hanno fornito preziosi consigli su acquisti alimentari e sul soggiorno. Prezzi onesti. Ci ritorneremo.

26/03/2025: Two hard, chewy, small portioned cuts (which by the way, tell the chef that those are strips of meat, the cut is something else....) two salads (one of which is green, i.e. the soncino from the Esselunga bag) two bottles of water and a coffee (dirty water) 78 euros.... but go to hell!

12/04/2025: Siamo entrati accolti dal sorriso caloroso di un cameriere: gentile, disponibile, ci ha subito messo a nostro agio, offrendoci anche una seggiolina per la nostra bimba – un gesto davvero carino che ci ha ispirato fiducia. Poco dopo, però, viene a servirci un altro membro dello staff e, da lì, inizia il mio "ni". Il signore si avvicina e ci riprende in modo piuttosto plateale perché la nostra bimba di un anno stava "forchettando" il menù. Una bimba piccolissima, senza molta forza – una scena innocente, tutto sommato. Mi scuso, perché in quel momento ero distratta a legare il cane, ma il tono e il modo in cui è stato fatto mi hanno sinceramente messa a disagio davanti agli altri clienti. Proseguendo, chiedo un consiglio su un vino non dolce. Mi aspetto un suggerimento, invece ricevo una risposta generica: “Van bene tutti”. Non essendo un'esperta, finisco per scegliere un vino che non era quello che cercavo. Il primo, tagliatelle al ragù, nella norma. Nulla da dire, ma nemmeno qualcosa che lasci un ricordo particolare. Al momento del conto, la sorpresa: ci viene addebitato anche il coperto per la bimba di un anno, che avrà assaggiato sì e no due patatine e un grissino, senza l'uso di posate e tovagliato (abbiamo usato il mio) Nel complesso, un'esperienza iniziata con buone premesse, ma conclusa con un senso di delusione e amarezza. Un vero peccato.

Very nice environment, very humble owners, very helpful waiter (Salvatore), all the dishes really top notch, really excellent pizzas with light and fluffy dough, abundant appetizers, first courses again plentiful and tasty, all really good. Prices within everyone's reach. I always go there as soon as I can, I recommend it to everyone as they say Seeing is believing.
