01/03/2025: We booked through the fork taking advantage of the 50% discount. We had a very good time, a refined and elegant environment. Very good food, excellent quality fish and generous portions. Excellent value for money, we will definitely return to try other dishes.

20/02/2025: We decide to try Osteria del Mar also taking advantage of The Fork's discount. The environment is minimal modern with the open kitchen and the fish-based menu and I must say that we were satisfied. After an amouse bouche offered by the kitchen we opted for two starters and two first courses. For the occasion we tasted a mixed Mediterranean Panure and a Catalan of flambéed prawns where the sweet and sour Tropea onion and the cherry tomatoes with mustard absolutely enhanced the dish. As first courses, the choice fell on the black risotto with cuttlefish, stracciatella and red prawns from Mazzara and Orecchiette from our sea in the white version. Both dishes were very good and with portions that allowed you to be satisfied. Finally, as desserts, a good Tarte Tatin and two mini tartlets with very tasty custard and berries. The wine Grillo di Nicosia is also interesting. What can I say, it was an excellent dinner and considering the discount from The Fork, it was good value for money.

14/03/2025: I got two takeaway pizzas and two bottles of wine. Delicious pizzas and fast service, however I would have avoided charging full price for the bottles of wine as per table service.

16/02/2025: Amazing atmospehere and service. We loved how the owner was taking the orders by himself, smalltalking, explaining the dishes. Food was exceptional. We highly recommend this restautant.

14/03/2025: Abbiamo trovato questo ristorante su Trip per caso come tappa di avvicinamento a Roma. È stata una graditissima sorpresa. Posto accogliente e curatissimo, veniamo accolti dal proprietario persona veramente speciale. Qualità del cibo eccellente, ottimi i primi e degustazione dell’olio locale come entree veramente buona. Buona anche la tagliata. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo. Da ritornare.

19/10/2024: Exceptional gem of a restaurant. To start with we received a very warm welcome and a peaceful, charming space after a wet and tiring day. We both chose the Chef's Swordfish with mixed grilled veg and salad. Oh my WORD! This chef has serious talent and the fish came with a chickpea puree and a vegetable espuma - delicious and wonderfully presented. We were also advised on wine and the Nero d'Avola was the most perfect accompaniment to our meal. We've eaten in several restaurants in Castellammare and this is our standout. We may be back tomorrow! Btw we haven't got to dessert yet!!!

15/02/2025: Dinner as a couple in this restaurant with truly elegant and refined interiors (one of the two restaurants of the Grand hotel et de Milan). Friendly staff and always attentive to needs: overall I would say impeccable. As for the menu, chef Gennaro Esposito skilfully combines elements of Neapolitan cuisine (his land of origin) with the Milanese culinary tradition. The mixed pasta soup is surprising, the lemon-scented saffron risotto and the turbot are excellent; less appreciated was the 'mbuttunato (stuffed) squid, which has pepper as its predominant element, which however was not specified in the menu. Overall a highly recommended restaurant.

16/02/2025: Stunning place with a view of Lake Bosisio and the well-kept and refined internal garden. Absolutely excellent quality food and delicious and tasty dishes. Also winks at families with children for the colorable "placemat" including a mini set of colored pencils and a final "sweet surprise"! Super friendly, helpful and friendly staff! Highly recommended!!!

04/03/2025: We tried this place because it was recommended to us and I must say that it significantly exceeded expectations. Nice place, well furnished and welcoming. Kind and attentive staff who welcomed us by offering some fish samples and focaccia. Really welcome. Very good dishes. Tried both first courses and pizza. Generous portions and with quality ingredients. Average prices. Recommended YES.

26/02/2025: Pre-theatre dinner. Very large environment, with many tables (perhaps sometimes a little too close together), but welcoming. The layout of the mezzanine is beautiful. Focaccia-based appetizer and final desserts accompanied by coffee included in the cover charge, very welcome and excellent. The schnitzel Milanese was well cooked and tasty, slightly thicker than other restaurants but for me that was a positive. The yellow risotto with ossobuco was well creamed and tasty. Very thin and well made pizza. Bill in line with restaurants in the area. Quick and courteous service. Definitely recommended.

15/02/2025: I have dined at this restaurant many times. You can eat very well, from fish to meat to pizza. I love their couscous, fried cappuccitti, swordfish rolls, linguine with squid ink and sea urchin seafood! And recently a cuttlefish ink risotto with prawn tartare and burratina! Always fresh products and presented in an original way. Among the desserts, the chocolate cake and the almond parfait are excellent. It is a very nice, bright, clean place and the owner Viola, her husband and all the staff are very friendly and ready to give directions and suggestions on pairing dishes and wines. See you soon!
