21/10/2025: We loved our stay at Hotel Open Gate! We did 5 nights in October, the weather was beautiful as was the view! The staff was also incredibly helpful and kind. We had breakfast there every morning, and dinner twice, the food was great. Being able after a long day to have a dinner right at the hotel was a relief. But also very easy to access other major parts of the coast via the SITA bus (if you have big luggage they do have storage on the outside of the bus, opposite to the entrance), as well as walk to other places in Praiano. Hoping we can come back someday!

09/10/2025: I just finished dinner at this little restaurant, which I think should be included on the UNESCO list because it captures the true essence of the Amalfi Coast. Excellent service, all supervised and supervised by the owners. Excellent cuisine, highly recommended. The seafood scialatielli are truly unique, handmade by the local, native chef. 03/11/2025: Cute, vibey spot by the water with great views and a welcoming staff. The grandpa/owner was more than welcoming, and we felt like family. Half bottles of wine was nice as well. Wow. Get the grilled anchovies. Youll thank me later. All the pasta were cooked perfectly and the seafood tasted amazingly fresh. Probably one of the most fresh ones we’ve had on the trip. Its a bit out of the way for most, but it seems to be a nice hidden gem/locals spot. Definitely coming back here next time we’re in amalfi coast.

This perhaps gives you a good idea of ​​the experience we had during our wedding, starting from the day we decided to crown our dream within the walls of a 10th-century castle, through the rehearsals of the menu, and finally arriving at the fateful day, July 5, 2025. Francesco, along with the entire staff, took care of every detail, exceeding all (very high) expectations, from the welcome buffet to the aperitif in the hanging garden. The dinner was sublime, a mix of sophisticated but above all successful dishes and flavors. Francesco dictated the evening's pace magnificently, allowing us to savor every moment thanks to a complicity that made us feel at home. Finally, spending our wedding night in a room in the tower was the icing on the cake. Thank you.

14/10/2025: It's now a trusted restaurant for my family and I. It feels like home. The food is excellent and plentiful, and the staff is incredibly kind and punctual. The pizza is excellent, even by the metre. The cuisine is varied and carefully prepared. The takeout service is excellent and punctual.

01/11/2025: We had lunch today at an outdoor table, in a wonderful, almost summery temperature, managed and "pampered" by Claudio. We appreciated his courtesy, helpfulness, and professionalism in suggesting excellent dishes. We thoroughly enjoyed them, starting with the Trionfo di crudo di mare (with red prawns and scampi, worthy of A+) and ending with the delicious tiramisu and "sporcamuss". The location was beautiful and the quality/price ratio (high) was right. We will definitely be back.

31/08/2025: A person at the 'famous' table comments: we arrived and the menu said they recommended not to order too many different first courses, but it wasn't written: it is mandatory to order at least two identical first courses. We chose three different first courses and the waiter reprimanded us saying that we should have read the bottom of the menu oh well!!! In short, after a bit of discussion he made us order three first courses of our choice. The first courses definitely leave much to be desired. (I didn't even eat it. The prawn in the strozzapreti with clams was definitely gone. The only good thing was the fried food. . . last but not least, the chef... (I think it was him) comes out while we were eating and starts by saying; which is this famous table? Can you show it to me? The waiter doesn't answer, I looked at him and then everyone goes silent, the famous table was ours 😂😂😂😂Happy Sunday everyone anyway, expensive and long wait

02/11/2025: I've never been to this osteria in Manfredonia better... The service was impeccable. We were greeted with great kindness and courtesy. After seating us, the waiter presented us with the catch of the day and the ways it could be cooked and enjoyed. So, right from the start, you can understand the quality of this place, where the freshness of the products is evident. We had raw seafood, tuna tartar, octopus on a bed of puree, stuffed squid, and two fried dishes. Everything was delicious and fresh, not to mention the tarallini and their homemade bread. These guys make everything themselves. VERY GOOD... And then I wanted to thank Domenico, who served us with exceptional kindness. We really had a great time... Fantastic. Thanks for everything. 23/09/2025: A good fish fry shop on the outskirts of San Giorgio Jonico, on the Monteparano side. There's outdoor seating, and house specials are also available daily. The food is good, and the prices are moderate. However, you'll need to serve yourself. There are several benches, and the parking is free and easily accessible.

14/10/2025: I was there for dinner for my first night in Olbia. I arrived there around 9 pm and was told there's no table for one person. When I was about to leave, I saw several empty tables which could easily accommodate me and asked the owner of the restaurant and I was able to get seated finally. After approximately 50 mins of waiting time, Borttarga pasta was served. Happy that I also ordered a starter otherwise I couldn't handle my hunger. I paid around 40 euro for a glass of prosecco in a stink glass (probably wiped with a unwashed tea towel), ok misto salumi sardi and spaghetti bottarga, which gave me stomach problem next day.
