16/02/2025: Convinced by the positive reviews we decided to try this restaurant, which unfortunately turned out to be quite disappointing. Acceptable raw but overly seasoned with flavors that clashed with each other. Inedible first course, passatelli in broth with raw mantis shrimp. I mean raw fish in hot broth? Then pairing fish with passatelli cheese? No. Last but not least, second plastic octopus in a tasty onion soup, but what about fish? No. Tartatin that looked like a biscuit to throw on the wall with some apples and egg mousse. It was anything but a tart. It costs relatively little compared to the quantity of dishes offered, but it is not a place where you eat well. Indeed, nauseating from a jumble of wrong combinations. We are very sorry.

16/02/2025: I chose this restaurant after seeing a reel on Instagram. My expectations were high and perhaps this had a slight impact on my vote because they were completely disregarded. We took the grill tasting menu for the interesting proposals within it and enriched it with a spaghetti with clams as an additional dish, a bottle of wine and two desserts (rose cake and an apple dessert). The service, which had seemed very friendly when the room was empty, broke down, as did the kitchen probably, as more guests arrived with a disastrous result... 2 hours and 40 minutes of four-course dinner, messy plates (we didn't even photograph the main courses and desserts) and a wait between first courses and second courses of around 50 minutes. It should be added that the waitress wore very long hair that was not sufficiently collected...a very serious error in the service. The environment is really very nice, even if the door to the women's bathroom doesn't close, but it's not enough to convince me to return... a real shame. I hope that the owners take these notes as stimuli to improve... the ideas and the raw materials are there... now we need someone who carries out service and cooking correctly. Bill 170 euros for two (wine 23 euros, grill tasting menu 55€ each, desserts 16€, spaghetti with clams 17€)

15/02/2025: We celebrated Valentine's Day in this restaurant recommended by the Michelin guide. Unlike most restaurants, no menu imposed at an exorbitant price. The usual evening menu. And in addition a rose offered for Madame on the table when we arrived. As for the meal, what a discovery! We opted for the tasting menu: an incredible mix of flavors, a journey for the senses. From dish to dish, we were won over! In the dining room, the service is impeccable and very attentive. In the background, perfect classical music! Thank you to the whole team for this evening.

28/02/2025: Very nice place for a nice dinner. The pizza tastes very good and we also really enjoyed the pasta. The prices are reasonable. There is a parking lot right next to the restaurant and the atmosphere is pleasant. Really recommended!

If you are in the area, Il Grecale is a must for those who love good food and want to enjoy a unique atmosphere. Highly recommended!

23/02/2025: Dopo aver provato quello di Caronno Pertusella da questa esperienza rimasto un po' deluso: porzioni ridotte e piatti poco saporiti quasi buttati li "spenti" di Sicilia hanno ben poco. Per quanto speso non ritornerei qui posso capire che si tratta di pesce ma conto esagerato.

11/02/2025: Ambiente gradevole con personale piacevole e preparato, piacevole entre' offerta, ottimo pane, particolare e, credo, fatto da loro. Buona carta dei vini con ricarichi corretti, primi piatti proprio ben conditi ( sembra scontato ma, in genere, nei primi di pesce il pesce si intravede ) , antipasti e piatti fuori menù buoni e particolari. Io non ho preso il dolce ma gli altri hanno detto che erano molto buoni. Amari offerti. Ci tornerò con piacere

01/02/2025: Taken home pizzas, there is no delivery. I took the Sirio pizza... the grain and parmesan cream are missing. Pizzas of different sizes, some small, some medium. Other ingredients missing…. Don't consider the menu on Facebook, the prices are not the same. Schiacciatina with friarelli from the menu is €7.50 on the €11 receipt. Unfortunately there is little choice in the area but I don't think I'll go back!

14/02/2025: Abbiamo cenato in questo splendido locale nel centro di Vimercate per il nostro anniversario. Location molto raffinata dove l'antico si fonde con il moderno donando all'ambiente uno stile per niente scontato. Piatti che rivisitato la tradizione, aggiungendo quel tocco in più... Ottima presentazione delle portate accompagnate da una gradevole descrizione da parte del personale di sala, garbato e fine nei modi. Molto gradita l'accoglienza della proprietaria. Complimenti a tutti.... Ci ritorneremo!

Il pranzo di Natale nonostante le parecchie portate è stato di qualità con la possibilità di riassaggiare più volte gli stessi piatti molto gustosi……Apparecchiatura e presentazione dei piatti molto gradevole. 05/01/2025: Una de las mejores comidas que tuve mientras estaba en Italia. No recuerdo el nombre del plato, pero era pasta con camarones en salsa de limón y estaba increíble! Nuestra camarera era amable y paciente con nuestra falta de italiano.

01/01/2025: J’ai bien failli ne trouver aucun restaurant ouvert pour le réveillon de Noël à Amalfi. Alors quand, grâce à l’un des serveurs du Al Duomo Bistrot, je me suis dirigée vers Il Chiostro pour faire une réservation, c’était bien sûr complet. Heureusement, la serveuse a été compréhensive et m’a accepté à condition que j’aie terminé à 20h puisque toutes les tables étaient réservées, ce que j’ai parfaitement compris. En tout cas, ça a sauvé ma soirée et même si c’était un repas italien classique, je me suis régalée. Je recommande ce restaurant.

27/12/2024: I ate there for a company dinner with many guests, so I can't comment on the price. Averagely good food, nothing exceptional, but considering the number of people, I would say positive. Good service and comfortable environment....overall positive rating for a busy dinner with many guests.
