He went over and said “NO”, told us to call in advance, which we did, several times, but no one bothered to answer. Maybe learn to treat people better? Big thumbs down!

23/07/2025: I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the excellence of this restaurant. During my three nights in Igea Marina, from July 18th to 21st, I had the pleasure of dining here on two evenings, choosing this very place to celebrate my birthday on July 19th. The First Evening (July 19th) On July 19th, we were served by the delightful Martina, an extremely professional woman. We ordered: 1 mixed carpaccio for two; 4 portions of raw fish per person (off-menu), each with 4 scampi, 4 prawns, and 4 Gillardeau oysters; 1 first course of sea bass ravioli with mantis shrimp pulp; 1 portion of Taranto-style mussels; 1 grilled octopus with mashed potatoes, celery hearts, and cherry tomatoes (off-menu); 2 bottles of sparkling water; 2 glasses of sparkling wine; 1 coffee affogato (off-menu); 1 house dessert; 2 limoncellos. The total cost of 140 euros was definitely well spent. The Second Evening (July 20th) On July 20th, we were looked after by Luca, Laura, and Gigi, all wonderfully knowledgeable and kind. On their recommendation, we opted for: 1 Padellaccia di Crustacei with fresh tagliolini (a dish for a minimum of two people); 2 waters; 1 glass of sparkling wine; 1 dessert; 1 coffee affogato; 2 limoncellos. This time we spent 90 euros. The staff, always extremely kind and friendly, makes you feel at home, while maintaining impeccable service. I feel compelled to return as soon as possible to savor all the other exquisite dishes. I always preferred to dine outside, since the restaurant doesn't have air conditioning inside. I imagine it's because the ceiling is too low for traditional fans. My recommendation would be to consider using ceiling lights with retractable blades, which are activated by remote control. They're an excellent furnishing solution, offering both light and ventilation. Thanks for everything!

16/07/2025: Locale molto carino, grande, con spazio dentro e fuori. I camerieri sono giovani ma molto veloci, simpatici e preparati. Una discreta varietà di piatti, dalle pizze al pesce. Preso antipasto di polpettine e frittura mista, entrambi molto buoni.

02/09/2025: Two truly delightful "light" lunches. We must return in the evening. The marina is in an excellent location. The boat is docked and the restaurant is just steps away. Taranto mussels and Greek salad. Three tasty appetizers: panzanella, octopus, and calamari with mango. Delicious, delicious. And the friendly, enthusiastic, and motivating service. It doesn't hurt. We'll be back at the first opportunity.

02/09/2025: The food was actually really delicious! Fresh fish and shellfish, there were 5 of us and all had different dishes and all were perfect to the person who chose them but if i am baiest for me the Ravioli di Cernia were top tier🤗 And it is a nice easy ambient next to the coast do that felt nice as well^^ The staff was very kind and attending to us nicely so i have to give them a shout out as well😄🫶 I would recommend :)

30/08/2025: A must-see every year❤️As a Neapolitan, and a true food connoisseur, I can assure you that the fish, in addition to being super fresh, is cooked in a superlative way!!!

09/08/2025: If you love authentic Neapolitan cuisine, Gli Scugnizzi in Castelfiorentino is a must-see. Here, you'll experience the warm atmosphere of the South, with dishes that tell stories of tradition and passion. The pasta and potatoes with provola is a masterpiece of comfort food: creamy, fragrant, and rich in flavor, just like it's eaten in the alleys of Naples. Also not to be missed is the fried anchovy cuoppo, fragrant and golden, with a taste of the sea and authenticity. And to finish on a sweet note, the Neapolitan pastries here are simply superb: sfogliatelle, babà, and pastiere that seem to have come straight from the best Neapolitan pastry shops. A restaurant that combines authenticity, quality, and hospitality, making every visit a memorable experience.

02/08/2025: Arriving late at our vacation spot and a bit tired from the trip, we followed our host's advice and went to dinner at Gli Scugnizzi. We sat on the terrace and ate really well (and in abundance)! The mixed fried fish was tasty, and my son loved the dessert: a cassatina, which he'd never tried before. The welcome was warm, the atmosphere relaxed, and the price reasonable. A good choice for a good dinner!

26/08/2025: I've been going here since I was a child with my family (we live nearby). I was such a pain in the ass that they called me "the pest." Yet they've always been tolerant, kind, and patient. That's why I still go and always will. And then, of course, because the food is fantastic, the location is beautiful, and the view is breathtaking.

08/08/2025: This is the perfect place for parents who want to enjoy a peaceful meal with their children, who can take advantage of a large dedicated area, which is also supervised by a childminder. The food is good quality and quantity, with special attention given to children's menus. I highly recommend booking.

02/08/2025: Since I often stay in a nearby hotel, this restaurant caught my attention. Even though I barely understood the menu, I had an excellent meal! I've been there twice, and I'll be back!

15/07/2025: There's no menu. You sit down and the waiter nods his head in agreement. If you nod, it's like hitting play and they start bringing out a four-course tasting menu. You can continue, move on to dessert, or stop. They were all very good, and with dessert and wine, it came to €40 per person.

11/08/2025: An elegant seafood restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. Everything is incredibly fresh and perfectly cooked. The orecchiette with clams and bottarga are simply spectacular—worth the visit alone! The maltagliati with shrimp and zucchini is also special. The wine list is also excellent: carefully selected, well-curated, and with truly interesting options.

02/08/2025: It's been over 20 years since I've been back to this restaurant, which has since been renovated and has ample parking nearby. The cuisine never disappoints and remains excellent for those who love quality food. Impeccable service.

20/07/2025: If you like nature, fresh air, and good food, this is the place for you! A secluded spot, cool in the morning and a great temperature from midday onwards. The restaurant is very nice and welcoming, the owners are very kind and attentive, the food is delicious, the fishing is very relaxing, and the catch is delicious. The parking lot is very large and shaded all day. There's even a river for those who want to swim in the very cool water. I recommend a sweatshirt and long pants in the morning, but it's best to bring a change of clothes for the temperature. It's ideal for those who want to relax and get away from it all.
