15/08/2025: Believe the hype. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Specials were all around porcini mushrooms, my wife had a delicious sea bream with porcinis and potatoes and I had cacciucco for the first time, full of fresh seafood. Delicious, not expensive bottle of bulgheri.

19/08/2025: We went on a Tuesday in August. It wasn't crowded, but we heard, probably from regulars, that it was unusual to eat so quietly and with so few customers. The place is obviously older, but the food is excellent. We had the grilled trio, the grilled calamari, and a portion of fries. Everything was plentiful and beautifully presented. The young staff was friendly and attentive. They asked us several times if we wanted at least the house liqueur—really kind!

03/08/2025: An evening spent with friends who already knew the place well. The staff were friendly and helpful. We trusted the owner, who suggested a Calabrian pitta to start, and then we chose from the menu. The pitta was fantastic, with escarole, sausage, and nduja, just the right amount of spice. Then we had the house appetizer (for two), which was truly generous. We split it between four (the oysters were swept away before the photo was taken). I had a trio, which was actually four different types of cod cooked and seasoned in different ways, sublime. My husband had lamb with potatoes, and my friends had arrosticini and other dishes, all truly delicious. Of course, I didn't have time to photograph everything because the aromas and the dishes spoke for themselves. Desserts... a pastiera, a fresh fruit and berry tart with ice cream. What can I say... you have to try it to believe it. Of course, all the dishes were beautifully presented and plentiful, including the large slices of cake. To finish, they offered us limoncello and some cookies. We'll definitely be back with other friends. The only problem is parking, but there are several garages nearby. A great evening, I highly recommend it.

17/08/2025: A lovely restaurant, located in the picturesque and charming town of Boccadasse, directly overlooking the sea. Its location is both impressive and worthy. As for the restaurant, it can be improved. The service was attentive, but with some small flaws. It could be improved. The dishes we ordered were a mixed bag. Good appetizers, both in quality and quantity. The first courses were excellent, both in quality and quantity, and well-cooked. The second courses were a bit disappointing. Of the three second courses, one was well-made, both in quality and cooking. I'm talking about a grilled sea bream. However, the other two left us quite disappointed. A friend of mine and I ordered two grilled fish dishes. The presentation of the dish was basic. But above all, the quality of the fish was not top-notch. The fish was not fresh. For a seaside restaurant, where you pay what you owe for quality food, much, much more can be done. The problem isn't the price we paid. But it's what we expected to taste for that price. It can definitely be improved.

25/08/2025: The day started with a nice walk around the center of Marano, then asking locals for a nice restaurant where we could have lunch, they had the wonderful idea of ​​recommending this place, where we were warmly welcomed by a truly courteous staff. The appetizer and second course of fish were excellent, arrived fresh directly from the fishing boat accompanied by good white wine. The dessert was exquisite and we left feeling full. 08/09/2025: As is my custom, I'm leaving the previous review, which you'll find below. When we vacation in San Felice Circeo, this restaurant is a regular stop. We booked well in advance to ensure we'd find a table. We have a poodle, so they seated us at a table inside the restaurant. While we waited for our appetizers, they offered us some truly delicious appetizers. Appetizers: anchovy and vegetable parcel, cod bites, and prawns in kataifi pastry. First courses: risotto with scampi cream, seafood paccheri Sorrento-style, and ravioli with shellfish and parmesan. Dessert: strawberry tart. Everything was superb. The service was impeccable, making us forget about last year's disappointment. What can I say... the quality is unquestionable, and the price is reasonable for everything they offer. We'll be back. First things first: my wife and I have eaten here several times and have always been completely satisfied. That said, after countless unsuccessful phone calls to make a reservation, we finally succeeded only by walking in. We wanted to make a good impression on some friends. The next day we went to dinner; the place was busy, but not overwhelming. To avoid any misunderstandings, we mean there were no people waiting for a seat. We arrived at 8:50 PM and ate two appetizers from the taverna without knowing what we were eating, as the waiters were serving very quickly. By 9:20 PM, the appetizers had already been consumed, along with the mussel soup to finish. From start to finish, 20 minutes. Next, we ordered grilled fish, marinated salmon, and desserts. We drank a bottle of prosecco. At 9:50 PM, we paid the bill. In conclusion, the quality of the food and the portions were, as always, top-notch. The rushed service undermined the kitchen's excellent work and ruined our evening.
