One of the best osterias/pizzerias on both sides of the Apennines - down-to-earth and clearly beyond standard dishes/standard cuisine, plus very friendly and with fair prices.

Absolutely delicious! Very friendly service. Prompt service. A charming, quaint restaurant, and the food is simply amazing and quite inexpensive too :) So if you're in the area, definitely stop by!

Our Easter itinerary takes us to this trattoria recommended by an acquaintance of mine... he told me, knowing you, you'll like it... he was right... Tuscan cuisine just the way I like it... without too many frills... the dishes do the talking and the chatter carries it away... I won't go into the logistical details of how, when, and why... definitely worth trying...

We're in Livorno for the weekend, and after asking where to eat, they recommended this osteria, which really surprised us. The location is welcoming and clean. The staff is super friendly, and the service is fast. Before they brought our order, they brought us some farinata, which we loved. As appetizers, we had the mixed seafood and the anchovies and burrata, all truly delicious. We continued with the spaghetti with mixed seafood, which was truly amazing; we loved it. Then we tried the fritto misto (this one was good, but perhaps a little greasy) and the pizza alla matriciana, which we all fell in love with! All washed down with the house red wine, which went down really well. The price/quality ratio, I'd say, is more than fair. Truly a great discovery!

For us, one of the best places for value for money!
