My wife and I stayed at Agriturisimo Serafina for four nights, including breakfast and dinner, and could not have enjoyed ourselves more. Other than coffee, flour, salt and sugar, the family produces all food stuffs they put on the table - this is quite literally, farm-to-table cuisine. Although "simple" foods, the family knows just how to season each dish they prepare - and there are many dishes every evening. The patriarch - Dominic - fosters an welcoming and interactive atmosphere during the dinners along with generous amounts of wine during the meal and the finishing touch of limoncello at the end (all home-made). The small family manages all aspects of the on-premises farm (animals, vegetables and fruits) operation as well as the kitchen and all house-keeping duties. Quite impressive. Daughter Rosa is the primary contact with guests (she's fluent in French and English) as well as a dizzying, whirlwind presence in all aspects of the business. We were both humbled and astonished at the kindness and unyielding willingness of the family - especially Rosa - to quickly address any and all questions, interests or concerns expressed by their guests. The lovely, idyllic setting is a much welcomed balm for the soul.
