Update: 22 people came to dinner. Everyone was satisfied with the service, food, and drinks. And the restaurant was fully booked. There were quite a few of us.

Everything was absolutely excellent, the people were truly wonderful, and we will definitely be returning to this place because, nowadays, finding a warm welcome like theirs is truly rare. It was delicious.
In the past, I'd also tried the grilled fish and skewers, and they were very good.
I recommend this restaurant.
I'd gladly return to try their other pizzas.

07/12/2025: Today, December 7, 2025, my mom and I went to this place for lunch, which we found by chance on the outdoor terrace. The staff were wonderfully welcoming, and I'd say it was excellent value for money.
We ordered two first courses and an appetizer, which were truly excellent. Nothing to complain about. They also offered us bruschetta with exceptional olive oil.
The dishes were super generous and not loaded with oil or salt (which I prefer, since I was afraid my first course, with the sardine, would be too salty).
The octopus was tender and still warm, and with the contrasting freshness of the arugula and tomato, it was superb.
In short, needless to say, I would recommend it to anyone spending a day in the beautiful Taormina.
28/11/2025: Wonderful family run establishment in the heart of Corso Umberto! Walk in with family of 5 but they accommodated us no problem. Service was excellent and food was delicious! My pasta was to die for…portions are great and we all left happy and full! Grazie Team Gambero Rosso!

03/12/2025: I've been to this restaurant three times and it's always impressed me.
A welcoming place, helpful staff, and a chef who comes directly to your table to take your order, carefully explaining each dish.
The food is high-quality, as is the wine selection.
The raw fish platter remains without a doubt my favorite!

I had an amazing plate of pasta with mussels, fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked followed by a mix of fried seafood that was light, crispy, and absolutely delicious. You can really taste the freshness of the ingredients and the care that goes into every dish. The sea breeze, the friendly service, and the relaxed atmosphere make the whole experience even better. Lovely ambiance, plenty of space, very friendly staff, all the food was of very high quality and delicious, the ice cream (especially the olive oil variety) was excellent, and the price/performance ratio was absolutely right. Absolutely well-deserved 5 stars!
