Ristorante Rueda Gaucha In Lignano sabbiadoro

We were there on Easter Sunday and only discovered the restaurant by chance. Despite the low season, there was a notice on the door saying "The restaurant is full". It can't be that bad then. We tried it anyway without a reservation because we didn't want to keep looking in the rain. Restaurant was actually full, mostly Italians and a few Austrians. Nevertheless, the owner was able to get a table ready for us after a few minutes. Already the first positive experience. Until then, we enjoyed a gin and tonic at the bar. The menu is not very large in terms of both selection and format. The most important thing: three T-bone steaks of different origins for 8EUR/100g, which I don't think is exorbitant. You can choose bottled wine directly from the shelf, which I think is very good; I always prefer the tactile experience of a bottle to a wine list. Prices around 30-40EUR. The next positive experience. When I was choosing the wine, I discovered the highlight: the steaks (and fish) are prepared on an open fire. The only point of criticism: the side vegetables came a little too early and were therefore only lukewarm when the steak arrived. There was a large selection of desserts, tiramisu is always good and the crème brûlée came to the table scorching, espresso was excellent as it is almost everywhere in Italy. The conclusion was a nice chat with the boss (thanks again for the cake and grappa!) What can I say, completely satisfied and I wish we had discovered the place earlier. In summer I would definitely recommend booking a few days in advance.

What can I say... a wonderful meal, a truly excellent asado, impeccable service, a fabulous wine, a fantastic dessert. All handled quickly. If you pass through these parts and want to try quality meat, paired with the right wine, and create an experience, ask the owner for advice who will certainly know how to make your visit a special moment. Absolutely recommended. Very good

Mangiare e servizio più che ottimo ! Abbiamo passato una serata speciale accompagnata da cibo eccellente e gente gentilissima. Un posto veramente da raccomandare!

If you like excellent steak culture & perfect service, then definitely come here! Great food and charming service! You will be looked after at the table by the owner himself!! Definitely worth a visit BUT it is better to make a reservation as it is always busy.

Premessa: si mangia davvero bene. Qui si va sul sicuro, il prezzo però non è accessibile a tutti Nei tavoli all'interno c'è molto caldo, consiglio di prenotare quelli esterni Eravamo in 5: una tartare e due piatti di prosciutto, 2 fiorentine, 5 bott di acqua frizzante, 2 di vino della casa e 4 dolci TOT: 60€ a testa comunque la carne è spettacolare. Si scioglie in bocca!
