A traditional restaurant with the feel of an inn. Perfect location right on the canal. The atmosphere is charming. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The service is professional and the food excellent. We tried several dishes: tagliolini with eel, grilled eel, creamed cod... I'd say everything was truly excellent. I highly recommend it.

We went to this restaurant on Carnival Sunday, and the whole country was in a frenzy. We hadn't booked, and all the places were packed, yet they managed to get us a table, certainly for 2 pm, precisely because we had two children. The food was excellent. The service was top-notch, because despite the crowds and the constant influx of customers, they were kind, patient, and friendly. And the wait was minimal, too.

Ristorante Pizzeria Al Frattino

12/04/2026: Nice atmosphere, quiet and welcoming. The pizza was very good, among the best I've had in Ferrara. I also had dessert, a cheesecake, which was also really good and fresh.
