31/03/2025: Beautiful location! Wonderful service and staff, La Chiusa in the village of Montefollonico is a gem. The restaurant is top notch, Chef Antonio is a master of taste and elegance. Delicious Tuscan flavors mixed with French flair.

21/01/2025: Lovely and quiet location. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff. More than decent room without carpet (fortunately!). The idea of ​​placing tables with two chairs outside the door to admire the view is nice. Bathroom with shower (as I had requested), equipped with courtesy set. The TV is missing. High price.

Reachable from the main car park via the public lift located behind the keep and town hall, passing through a suggestive walkway and a very well-kept modern square.

06/10/2024: El mejor bar por lejos y el personal es tremendo Los lugareños son muy amables y le dan la bienvenida. Todo sucede en el bar desde la mañana hasta la noche, un verdadero centro local y no todo sobre el alcohol! Los niños locales vienen y compran sus dulces y helados, etc. Un verdadero placer. Fabuloso café y pasteles por la mañana y bocadillos de pizza, etc. durante el día Gran parada para ciclistas! Nos quedamos y nos sentimos parte.

01/04/2025: Piccolo locale nei vicoli di Siena, atmosfera informale ma piatti deliziosi! Dall’ antipasto al dolce è stato tutto ottimo: piatti tipici e alla buona ma super gustosi. Un apprezzamento particolare al tiramisù, uno dei più buoni mai mangiati!

27/01/2025: Buon giorno, Eravamo in tre, Abbiamo ordinato un antipasto formaggi pecorini della val d'orcia rafforzato, ed alla fine sul conto ci siamo ritrovati 3 antipasti, tra l'altro non mi sembravano neanche pecorini, ma misto pecorino, poi per andare sul sicuro abbiamo ordinato i pici all'aglione, terribili, stracotti, pasta appiccicata, aglio e non aglione, sugo inesistente, immangiabili. Questo posto dovrebbe chiudere. sarei più brava io di loro, anche il vino rosso della casa non era il massimo.

23/03/2025: A slightly isolated location but in a welcoming and well-kept context. The service is not very attentive, the waitress is absent for long periods. We were four tables for lunch, but having lunch for two took more than two hours, a bit too much. I don't recommend it.

23/02/2025: Super tasty pizza and pasta. The cacio e pepe and the carbonara are especially recommended. The servers were very friendly. We requested that they prepare the food as quickly as possible as we were in a hurry. The food was on the table within 15 minutes (for 5 people)!👍

02/01/2025: Out of town because outside the walls of the village of San Gimignano. The food is very good and finally something on the menu that isn't just peposo, wild boar and other things of this purely Tuscan kind, sometimes you also need to diversify. Here I found some good first courses with well-cooked fish (al dente) and a light pizza with excellent leavening and cooking. The place is not traditional in its furnishings but pleasant and intimate.
