22/03/2024: We stayed in an agriturismo in the neighbourhood already some time ago, but I still remember the food I ate here. Definitly the best restaurant we tried in this area.

01/04/2024: Cozy restaurant in the center, the staff was immediately welcoming and friendly, the service was fast and the dishes were excellent. Absolutely recommended!
01/04/2024: We went here for lunch with our two little boys on Easter Monday. The food was tasty, not exceptional, but delicious. Portions a little small and a little more expensive than in direct comparison with restaurants in the immediate area. But the service was very friendly and the atmosphere was simply fantastically Tuscan! It was raining during our visit, but we enjoyed the view of the beautiful courtyard from inside. We would come again.

03/04/2024: Last night we had dinner in this trattoria, Tuscan cuisine truly at the top
I really appreciated the staff, the 2 very young but organised, fast and BRAVE chefs as well as the guys who followed us to the table. the place is small but worth the wait
We tried the ribollita, the spelled soup, the parmesan fondue with vegetables, the beef and truffle tartare and for dessert the chocolate cake accompanied by a glass of Chianti and a glass of Vernaccia

31/10/2023: Located at a little corner, La Biscondola serves up simple Italian fare. We visited after lunchtime and it was one of the few eateries still open and taking customers.
Food was great overall, the vibes were good, service was prompt and friendly. As we were sharing a pasta, the crew even portioned out the pasta proactively before serving.
Recommended if you are around the area!

18/02/2024: Dall’ antipasto al caffè si sente l’amore nella preparazione nel gusto e nel l’aspetto dei piatti per lasciare un sorriso e la voglia di tornare. Personale cordiale e professionale.

Locale elegante, con alcuni dettagli che rovinano la bellezza del posto (tanti ventilatori, che immagino necessari nel periodo estivo).
Piatti molto curati: noi abbiamo preso una tagliata che si scioglieva in bocca, ma i cappellacci niente di eccezionale. Per concludere un tiramisù che ci ha lasciato l’amaro in bocca.
Conto alto rispetto a quanto mangiato.

02/04/2024: 5 star experience. Baccano is the place to be in San Gimignano if you are looking for a proper Toscan hospitality and welcoming experience. Superb food at a family run restaurant with top quality and very adjusted prices. We were the last ones to leave the place as we were feeling like at home.

21/02/2024: Personale gentile, sopratutto il signore che gira per i tavoli. Il posto bello sopratutto mangiare fuori con vista sulle colline sulle colline è molto rilassante. siamo stati a pranzo attirati dalle ottime recensioni. Menu fisso di 34 euro.
- tagliere con formaggi e bruschette. Le bruschette semplicemente con olio e origano, non aveva nulla di sfizioso. Ne sott’oli, ne un crostino con qualche salsa, ne pomodoro sulle bruschette. Niente! Scarso.
- scelta tra 2 primi pasta al ragù e pasta con zafferano e panna. Semplice. Nulla di che
- teglia con fette di arrosto con patate.
- panna cotta finita, torta di mele insignificante
- vino proposto era da tavola, vino base
Mi spiace ma 34 euro non mi sembra così poco x quello che ci hanno offerto. questo è un menù da trattoria per i camionisti a 12 euro. Io davvero non capisco tutte queste recensioni positive. Saranno fatte prevalentemente da turisti stranieri.
Mi sembrava una fabbrica di turisti!
