07/02/2026: At Bucchero you truly feel at home, a restaurant nestled in the charming streets of ancient Chiusi with a delightful little garden featuring a beautiful grape pergola. The owner welcomes you with kindness and affability... and you eat truly well, in great simplicity and joy. The Tuscan-style cod is exquisite... the picci with duck or garlic are wonderful... all the traditional dishes of Tuscan-Umbrian cuisine are cooked like at home... there is also pizza for those who want it... and the Tuscan-style Florentine steak is truly unsurpassed, very tender, like the fillet with bucchero... the house wine is also excellent and well-priced. I recommend it.

27/12/2025: We stopped for breakfast at this café. We had two coffees and a tiny slice of tart.
When it came time to pay, the bill was much higher than expected (there was no indication of prices or the type of desserts in the display case), and we were told they charged restaurant prices.
"The law requires that, when a product is displayed to the public, the price must be clearly and pre-emptively known to the customer, without them having to ask."
An experience not to be repeated.
22/12/2025: A truly excellent restaurant in Bagni San Filippo. The food is excellent, with excellent traditional local dishes prepared with great care. The location is beautiful, both inside and out, especially in the summer. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

We had a really WONDERFUL New Year's Eve dinner!!!!
The food was excellent, the service was attentive, and the timing was perfect so we could then go out and stroll before celebrating midnight.
The price was RIGHT!!!!

04/01/2026: ...we were with a group of camper friends... 30 people for New Year's Eve!! What can I say... the food was excellent, the service was perfect, and the location was very nice, very close to the main square!! We had a great time, and they even set aside a room just for us!! Everything was delicious... the tagliatelle with duck ragù and the tagliata were sublime... and the chocolate salami was top notch!! Thank you so much!!

10/11/2025: A place to be and indulge in simple, honest Tuscany cuisine - what a pleasure to had the chance to get a sweat spot on a Saturday for lunch.
We come back!
05/10/2025: We had lunch at this restaurant in the historic center of Sarteano, and what can I say? It was a wonderful experience! The atmosphere was homey, and the owner offered us delicious Cinta Senese ham as an appetizer. We ordered: a platter of cured meats and cheeses, pici all'aglione, ravioli with butter and sage, baked potatoes, biscotti and vin santo, red wine and coffee. Everything was delicious and carefully prepared. The portions were generous, and the prices were more than fair. We'll definitely be back!

19/10/2025: The service was bad, they were rude and impatient. The steak was good but the veal cheek was undercook and unpleasant to eat. The lights were too harsh and there were no music nor ambience.
14/10/2025: We had lunch here and we're impressed enough to come back for dinner the same night. The Bistecca alla Fiorentina was outstanding! The presentation was molto benne! As was the wine and its presentation. If I am back in Radda in Chianti in the future, I will certainly come back here!

One of the ordered dishes (grilled vegetables) was missing and an additional bottle of water was added to the bill.
It all came together to make a rather disappointing impression.
03/01/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant in the center of Montalcino... Pleasant atmosphere, excellent service, and truly delicious food... Highly recommended are the pici all'aglione.

20/03/2026: A lovely hotel in San Gimignano, with the owner's courtesy and helpfulness. The only downside was that we had to pay for two coffees in the morning, even though breakfast was included. Sometimes you need a good nose.
03/01/2026: A good location for visiting San Gimignano, about a 10-minute walk to the historic center. You can drive right up to the entrance, and even if there's no parking, you have plenty of time to get settled in. Simple rooms, a good breakfast in a lovely room, friendly and helpful staff, and a lovely picturesque view of San Gimignano and its towers, even more beautiful at night, from just outside the entrance, but perhaps from some rooms as well. I removed one star because the information says "wheelchair accessible," which isn't entirely true.

21/02/2026: Discovered by pure chance but it's really worth it! Extraordinary pici with white sauce! Excellent service and friendly owners! When I return to Siena, we will definitely go back.
