It's a magical place, near the most beautiful Crete Senesi. Manager Massimo is a delightful person and prepares Tuscan specialties with meticulous attention to detail and originality. Don't miss: summer and autumn truffles, Florentine rib-eye steak, and deconstructed tiramisu.

The atmosphere is both elegant and welcoming, and every dish we tried was absolutely delicious – from the beautifully prepared appetizers to the unforgettable dessert. What really made our evening special was the warm and graceful welcome we received upon arrival. A big thank you to Victor, who showed us to our table in such a charming and elegant way. His professionalism and kind attitude made us feel genuinely appreciated from the very beginning. 13/05/2026: Mistakes are unfortunate because they can happen to anyone, but it's the attitude that makes the difference... If the "Captain" avoids greeting you even from a few centimeters away when his staff has made mistakes, then it's a symptom of an arrogance that makes him "Uber alles" just because he won a TV show. The appetizer was good (eggplant tart on a pepper base, which I'm fond of), nothing special, but worth mopping up the sauce. The first course was good (pappardella with hare ragù, brought back for a pleasant memory of a previous meal), also worth mopping up the sauce. Unfortunately, there was a mistake when ordering, which resulted in something else being served (and it was noted on the bill that it wasn't added to the bill... I'd point out because it wasn't ordered... Okay, let's skip over it). The second course (Chianti-style beef stew) was presented as melt-in-the-mouth, easily removable with a fork, but instead it was hard and dry, and sent back (I was told I was unlucky to have the "culetto" (small portion), but the slices were also hard and dry), and not added to the bill. The dessert was presented as a classic tiramisu recipe, but with a strong presence of cream, and they regretted not being able to use the Pavesini biscuits that my grandmother used to use.... Ah... But why has the restaurant industry gone so wrong? Not bad anyway, if it weren't for the attitude that clashes with the much-ostentatious hospitality.
