A good option in Montalcino for those who want typical Tuscan food. The dishes are well-prepared, especially the rabbit and wild boar. The wine list is excellent, with great Brunello options. Rustic and pleasant atmosphere, very much in the style of the region. The service can vary — it wasn't bad, but it's not the strongest point either.

INCREDIBLE!!!!! A completely amazing experience… the service was incredible. We tried 3 dishes in total. Super generous portions. And two exquisite desserts… highly recommended. So lovely. An experience in itself…

The welcome was a bit cold... The food was good... The place was a bit dark... No view or terrace. I'd go back just for the food.

The choice of a lunch spot fell to this restaurant because it was in the Michelin guide. We had a few starters - none were special. Though totally fine because you need to make ample space for the star of the show - the pasta. We had different Pici pasta dishes - homemade fresh goodness. Even had leftover space for some desert: gelato was very good. Overall, nice cozy restaurant to grab a quick lunch when you are visiting a little town of Montalcino.

A consistently elegant restaurant. The traditional dishes are well-prepared, but overall, they don't stand out compared to other restaurants in Ilcine, even those less highly regarded and more basic. The wine list is impeccable, with many local labels. Compared to other restaurants, the prices are slightly above average.

The food was outstanding. The service was very strange. They practically kicked us out. They wouldn't even let us finish chewing our food before asking if we wanted dessert. The same thing happened with the appetizers. They were very rushed and cold when serving us. You feel more like a nuisance than a customer.

Excellent food...it's no wonder they receive so many Michelin nominations...refined cuisine!!!! None of those gigantic pasta dishes...

The food was disappointing. The pinci all'aglione, in particular, had a watery, thin sauce. I didn't appreciate the choice (in January) to use fresh cherry tomatoes instead of a good pulp or passata. The beef braised in balsamic vinegar was very sweet, too sweet.

Nice place, good food, and a nice wine list. It's a shame I'm not a Brunello connoisseur! The guinea fowl was delicious, and I found the cuisine not too heavy or delicate.
