25/12/2025: A very nice place, well-managed. It's a shame the drinks are a bit pricey, but especially the girl who makes them serves very small quantities. I hope it's not the place's policy, because it would be scandalous. I can pay whatever it's worth for a gin, but I expect the same amount as other places. Merry Christmas!

15/02/2026: Quick and respectful service. I paid for a well-made mojito on Valentine's Day for my girlfriend. The cocktail was truly delicious and, above all, beautiful to look at.
14/02/2026: I'm a tourist, I visited Siena, and during one of my walks I went into this bar. It's absolutely beautiful inside, and there's a veranda for those who want to enjoy the fresh air. The service was impeccable, the drinks were delicious, and that evening they had a karaoke night. I'm not Italian, but I felt right at home. The atmosphere was very pleasant, and I loved the music and singing.
I highly recommend this place.

The traditional dishes are well-prepared, but overall, they don't stand out compared to other restaurants in Ilcine, even those less highly regarded and more basic. The wine list is impeccable, with many local labels. Compared to other restaurants, the prices are slightly above average.
15/03/2026: The food was outstanding. The service was very strange. They practically kicked us out. They wouldn't even let us finish chewing our food before asking if we wanted dessert. The same thing happened with the appetizers. They were very rushed and cold when serving us. You feel more like a nuisance than a customer.

03/01/2026: We stopped a little hesitantly because the entrance wasn't particularly flashy. Appearances can be deceiving, because our dinner was very pleasant. Simple dishes, just the right portions, without too much pretension. Everything was very relaxed.

26/11/2025: I ordered spaghetti with clams (delicious). For my main course, the mixed fried calamari and shrimp (superb). The owner is friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is very refined. Prices are reasonable. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys good food. I'll gladly return.
04/11/2025: We stopped yesterday while passing through, searching online for a place to eat off the highway, and it appealed to us given the reviews. Very convenient right off the highway. The place is clean and welcoming, the food is excellent, and the prices are reasonable. We had three types of pici with different toppings, each better than the last... the fried fish was dry and crispy... the fish was very fresh... and the homemade desserts were TOP (we had the caprese and tiramisu). Compliments to the very welcoming owner and the waiter, a young and very polite man. We will definitely be back when we pass by there. CONGRATULATIONS!!

23/02/2026: Typical Tuscan Italian restaurant, we had Gnocchi and entrecote for dinner, both delicious dishes, but they took a while to serve.
22/02/2026: Ours, the only table that ordered a bottle of wine, and whose first courses were served with meager portions!
If you want to be treated well at this place, please spend as little as possible!

25/09/2025: Hilltop looking over the valley ristorante next to an old abbey which is now a winery. The location is amazing. We had a set menu of a pasta starter then beef stew on polenta with chocolate orange mousse to finish.

02/08/2025: For the quality of the sliced meat, I would give it 6 stars going to the checkout, but I can't understand how a green salad can cost 9 euros when a sliced meat costs 18. I repeat, the sliced meat deserved 23 euros too... so it would be more correct to then apply €4 for the salad.

20/10/2025: An experience not to be repeated...we waited an hour and a half for a plate of penne with tomato sauce and a chicken breast...and the place was practically empty. As soon as we'd eaten our dish, we, like the other three diners, went to pay without even getting our coffee!
15/10/2025: Delicious pizza and friendly service! Our dog was even allowed to come along :)

10/07/2025: Da Leonardo, dal 2017 ci andiamo ogni anno durante la nostra settimana di vacanza in Toscana. Ceniamo lì almeno 4 volte durante la settimana e ogni volta è una meraviglia. L’accoglienza calorosa, la generosità del padrone di casa, la qualità dei piatti rendono ogni visita un momento eccezionale, fuori dal tempo. Tutto è impeccabile, in un’atmosfera conviviale e sincera che fa di questo posto un indirizzo davvero speciale. Complimenti allo chef, che sa esaltare i buoni prodotti senza mai una nota stonata. È solo un piacere. Complimenti a tutti.
22/06/2025: Hemos comido aquí durante muchos años en nuestras vacaciones y como de costumbre todo es excelente incluso cuando no estás seguro de lo que has pedido. Muy recomendable para una experiencia típica toscana.

28/02/2026: The wonderful place where I brought my family for so many years has long been closed and abandoned. Is it possible that nothing can be done to restore its ancient beauty? It would be a great attraction for tourism and a source of employment for the local population. A real waste.

08/11/2025: This place was recommended to me, and I booked without looking at the reviews. Once I walked in, I wondered what it was like, and the reviews were pretty bad. I was obviously very biased, but I was pleasantly surprised by the speedy service and excellent food. We tried fragrant pici with porcini mushrooms, a truly delicious ribollita, and a tender ossobuco that melted in your mouth, accompanied by a fresh, crunchy, and flavorful mixed salad.
I recommend finishing your dinner with their cantucci.

14/07/2025: 2** er ikke meget, men det som ramte vores borde var, desværre ikke længere end til 2**. Den bedste servering var den ene forret, helt simpelt bruschetta, var gode, og så alligevel også lidt ærgerligt at der var hældt tørret oregano ud over. Pasta retterne var, en spøjs sammensætning. Under krydret, og i den ene ret et ubestemmeligt krydderi som gjorde at retten ikke hang sammen. På gulvet var det en lidt træt aften, vinen kom efter forretterne, der blev foreslået dessert inden hovedretterne (pasta) var serveret etc. Lokalets indretning er jo ejerens valg, men uha der var mange køleskabe i rummet, om det styrke det etiske det tror jeg man skal være køleskabe sælger for at syntes.
