25/09/2025: Hilltop looking over the valley ristorante next to an old abbey which is now a winery. The location is amazing. We had a set menu of a pasta starter then beef stew on polenta with chocolate orange mousse to finish.

02/08/2025: For the quality of the sliced meat, I would give it 6 stars going to the checkout, but I can't understand how a green salad can cost 9 euros when a sliced meat costs 18. I repeat, the sliced meat deserved 23 euros too... so it would be more correct to then apply €4 for the salad.

The bathroom is dirty, the owner smokes in the dining room, the pici cacio e pepe is completely devoid of salt... in short, the only redeeming feature is the waiter, while the waitress should learn that a smile costs nothing and goes a long way. Won't return.

11/10/2025: Just eat here. Bloody fabulous. The baked pecorino is amazing, the steak was excellent. And we had food envy of other people's pasta. Cooked by nonna, served by the family, no fakery. It's what you want. Just eat here.

07/11/2025: Between 3.5 and 3.8, mainly for the preparation and presentation of the dishes. The place has the typical atmosphere of a town like San Gimignano; the entire aesthetic, from the lamps to the table arrangement, is tasteful—one wouldn't expect less from a restaurant on the main street. The dishes weren't presented as well as they appear in the photographs. We ordered a selection of meats… which, while we waited, was very similar to anticuchos in Latin America but without vegetables. It was served with bread in the center, which was poorly arranged and lacked any distinguishing features compared to the bread basket. Although the different meats tasted good, they weren't enjoyable simply because the bread was soggy with grease. The same was true of the roasted vegetables; they looked more like leftovers from a stir-fry than the roasted vegetables we've had elsewhere. And the presentation was far from satisfactory. Finally, regarding the mixed salad, the sliced ​​tomatoes didn't look very appealing, and the most disappointing thing was that the dressing wasn't local, which made it even less appealing. However, as for the Chianti, nothing to complain about. Tuscany always surprises you with that, so at least in terms of the wine, nothing to complain about. The staff's helpfulness was appreciated, although, being a ristorante (a traditional Spanish restaurant), one would expect more advice on wine pairings.

08/11/2025: This place was recommended to me, and I booked without looking at the reviews. Once I walked in, I wondered what it was like, and the reviews were pretty bad. I was obviously very biased, but I was pleasantly surprised by the speedy service and excellent food. We tried fragrant pici with porcini mushrooms, a truly delicious ribollita, and a tender ossobuco that melted in your mouth, accompanied by a fresh, crunchy, and flavorful mixed salad. I recommend finishing your dinner with their cantucci.

29/10/2025: They also have a fixed menu and when you go to pay the price is like the normal menu... we had a lasagna and chicken breast with salad (among other things the salad never arrived)... fixed menu at 15 euros, and a lasagna and lampredotto fixed menu at 15 euros two coffees and a bottle of water gas total 44 euros. If something is not included in the fixed menu as it says the customer must be notified.

21/10/2025: Food and service were outstanding. Not to mention the stunning view. My husband and I went there for a coffee at first and the staff was so lovely we decided to go back for brunch. After that we went back for dinner. We just couldn't get enough of this place. We had a 3 weeks vacation driving around Italy and our experience at Terraza was definitely one of the highlights of the trip. The dinner we had was comparable to a Michelin star restaurant. Andrea and Nico were lovely and offered impeccable service. Looking forward to my next Lake Como trip.

14/07/2025: 2** er ikke meget, men det som ramte vores borde var, desværre ikke længere end til 2**. Den bedste servering var den ene forret, helt simpelt bruschetta, var gode, og så alligevel også lidt ærgerligt at der var hældt tørret oregano ud over. Pasta retterne var, en spøjs sammensætning. Under krydret, og i den ene ret et ubestemmeligt krydderi som gjorde at retten ikke hang sammen. På gulvet var det en lidt træt aften, vinen kom efter forretterne, der blev foreslået dessert inden hovedretterne (pasta) var serveret etc. Lokalets indretning er jo ejerens valg, men uha der var mange køleskabe i rummet, om det styrke det etiske det tror jeg man skal være køleskabe sælger for at syntes.

The place is clean and welcoming, the food is excellent, and the prices are reasonable. We had three types of pici with different toppings, each better than the last... the fried fish was dry and crispy... the fish was very fresh... and the homemade desserts were TOP (we had the caprese and tiramisu). Compliments to the very welcoming owner and the waiter, a young and very polite man. We will definitely be back when we pass by there. CONGRATULATIONS!!

11/10/2025: We booked spontaneously the night before and were welcomed with open arms. The location is amazing, right in the middle of the vineyards. The view is fantastic; both the sunset and sunrise are spectacular. The restaurant and breakfast were also excellent.
