28/06/2025: Situato in un luogo magico, con una vista incantevole, questo ristorante molto familiare come accoglienza, offre un servizio cortese d piacevole ed un’ottima cucina locale. Sapori autentici, prodotti ottimi, piatti molto buoni. Prezzo nella media della zona. Da provare!!

23/06/2025: El lugar es una joya escondida, en un pequeño pueblo. Proporciona servicios complejos, pero lo visitamos solo para un almuerzo. El menú es muy "tuscano" muchas especialidades l 9 cal. Las placas y los campos son hermosos, y bastante grandes. También tienen excelentes aceites de oliva locales. Vale la pena visitarlo.

17/07/2025: Nach wie vor zauberhafte Kulisse. Kellnerinnen und Kellner sehr unprofessionell. Immer standen 2-3 Servicekräfte laut redend und lachend hinter uns. Als Gäste fühlten wir uns unwohl und in unserer Privatsphäre gestört. Wir fühlten uns ständig beobachtet, aber nicht gut betreut. Das Essen war diesmal leider nur durchschnittlich. Da Carpaccio um 19.00 Uhr vergriffen war, wurde allen Gästen Tatar angepriesen. Es war genießbar, aber nicht sehr schmackhaft. Alle weiteren Mahlzeiten waren ebenfalls enttäuschend, der Nachtisch eine Zumutung. Wieder fragten wir vergeblich nach unserem Wunschtisch, der angeblich reserviert war, aber den ganzen Abend unbesetzt blieb. Der Abend Im Badia Coltibuono war für uns eine große Enttäuschung . Unsere weite Anreise hat sich keinesfalls rentiert … im Gegenteil!! Nie wieder!

22/08/2025: We ordered the tagliatelle with truffle which was very good and the pappardelle with wild boar which was equally good, as well as the second course which was also good, very kind and nice.

19/06/2025: Seems like a local pub hangout which I like. Good food and service. Not too many beers if thats what you are looking for but many other drink options. Low prices. Indoor and outdoor seating. Dog friendly!

02/08/2025: For the quality of the sliced meat, I would give it 6 stars going to the checkout, but I can't understand how a green salad can cost 9 euros when a sliced meat costs 18. I repeat, the sliced meat deserved 23 euros too... so it would be more correct to then apply €4 for the salad.

13/08/2025: We visited this restaurant hoping for a pleasant meal, but unfortunately experienced a very disappointing situation. Upon arrival, we politely waited at the designated spot, as requested, for staff to seat us. For about 15 minutes, no one approached us, greeted us, or informed us of any waiting time, even though the staff clearly saw us and there were free tables outside. When we finally asked a waitress if we could sit down, we received a rude and inappropriate response: “We’re full.” Such an attitude towards guests is very unprofessional and leaves a negative impression, regardless of the quality of the food.

08/08/2025: We are here organised by our hotel as there was a family connection. The atmosphere was incredibly tense on arrival. We ordered an expensive bottle of wine with our meal as this was a special occasion (my birthday treat). The cork disintegrated when the waitress attempted to open. The wine was clearly corked and the condition of the cork impacting the wine. They attempted to serve me the same wine with cork fragments still in it, I gave the benefit of doubt and tasted the wine. When I explained to the waitress that it was corked and tasted musty and flat she left and was followed out by the owner. Who was one of the rudest people I have ever met. He told myself and my partner that we clearly didn’t have the pallet for old wine, and we should instead order something younger. I asked if we could be served the same bottle of wine we chose but a new bottle due to the degradation of the cork. He refused and blamed our pallet. We decided this restaurant was not for us and went elsewhere. Avoid if you can. Rude, disrespectful owner and staff.

06/07/2025: Locale sopravvalutato per ciò che è realmente. La nuova location è carina, peccato sia l’unica cosa che si salvi. Personale impreparato (abbiamo chiesto cosa ci fosse nell’antipasto “crostini misti” e non hanno saputo risponderci) e troppo informale. Trovo inconcepibile proporre nel menù un antipasto toscano senza neanche l’ombra di un crostino nero e con tanto di mortadella di Bologna annessa. Altrettanto inconcepibile servire un filetto con speck e provola, la bontà sta nella semplicità e coprire il sapore della carne con altri sapori non da niente in più al piatto. Qualità della carne pessima, ho riscontrato problemi nella masticazione: troppo stoppacciosa. Ci è stato servito un vino rosso “caldo come il piscio” a detta della cameriera. L’unica cosa che si salva insieme alla location sono i dolci che si presentano molto bene e riscontrano pienamente i gusti del sottoscritto. Ad addolcire il tutto ci è stato presentato un conto a dir poco salato per la qualità della proposta!

05/07/2025: Nous sommes tombés par hasard sur ce restaurant situé en pleine campagne sur la route entre Arezzo et Sienne. Le restaurant semble avoir complètement été refait et ne ressemble en aucun cas aux anciennes photos. Tout s’est super bien passé, on nous a aidé à placer la voiture sur le parking extérieur. On nous a vite trouvé une table disponible et le service est très efficace. Les prix sont hyper corrects. 5€ une pizza margarita et les pizzas sont toutes environ à 8€. Nous avons prix un Aperol spritz qui était bien rempli et très bon, deux salades mixtes en entrée assez copieuses et je recommande en pâtes les picis au bacon et artichauts et les raviolis au pecorino et poires. En dessert, nous avons une charlotte aux fruits rouges. Nous avons passé un excellent repas en toute simplicité. L’Italie comme on l’aime. Je vous recommande à 💯 %

13/06/2025: Einfacht typisch Italienische Küche. Sehr ruhig gelegen im der Toskana. Einfache gute Küche. Mit Bilder schön beschrieben wie die Gerichte aussehen. Nonna macht die Pasta selber.

18/05/2025: In posizione defilata, lungo la strada che da Castel porta a San Gimignano, la Locanda del Borgo è un ambiente tranquillo dove si mangia toscano e bene. Ottimi i pici al ragú bianco di cinta senese così come le caramelle ripiene con la pera e il formaggio versato a cascata. Gustosissimo il tagliere con affettati toscani (coppa, finocchiona e salame) accompagnato da crostoni e salsine, il tagliere di formaggi e…senz’altro la famosa fiorentina che qui è certo di casa. Prezzi non economici, ma ormai nello standard. Cena consigliata a chi si trova da queste parti.

22/12/2024: Uno de los grandes restaurantes de la provincia (Siena). Original y deliciosa comida toscana, muy local y de temporada. Voy allí con frecuencia aunque vivo a una hora de distancia. Estilo Slow Foods.

04/09/2025: The simple, family-friendly atmosphere of this village trattoria. The excellent, carefully prepared food and the kindness of the owner and her daughter complete the picture. Add to this the peace and serenity of the location, far from traffic and noise.

27/08/2025: We stopped for lunch and always look for places like this, truly authentic without too many frills! We had a plate of wild boar pici: phenomenal! The best we've had in Val d'Orcia! Then we had a mixed platter of cured meats, cheeses, and crostini: very good, and I think they make them themselves. Finally, we had crostoni stuffed with pecorino, pears, and walnuts: delicious! And of course, we couldn't miss coffee with dessert: their cherry jam tart. Everything was truly delicious! If you like old-fashioned places with authentic, local food, go here—you won't regret it!

14/07/2025: 2** er ikke meget, men det som ramte vores borde var, desværre ikke længere end til 2**. Den bedste servering var den ene forret, helt simpelt bruschetta, var gode, og så alligevel også lidt ærgerligt at der var hældt tørret oregano ud over. Pasta retterne var, en spøjs sammensætning. Under krydret, og i den ene ret et ubestemmeligt krydderi som gjorde at retten ikke hang sammen. På gulvet var det en lidt træt aften, vinen kom efter forretterne, der blev foreslået dessert inden hovedretterne (pasta) var serveret etc. Lokalets indretning er jo ejerens valg, men uha der var mange køleskabe i rummet, om det styrke det etiske det tror jeg man skal være køleskabe sælger for at syntes.
