08/11/2025: This place was recommended to me, and I booked without looking at the reviews. Once I walked in, I wondered what it was like, and the reviews were pretty bad. I was obviously very biased, but I was pleasantly surprised by the speedy service and excellent food. We tried fragrant pici with porcini mushrooms, a truly delicious ribollita, and a tender ossobuco that melted in your mouth, accompanied by a fresh, crunchy, and flavorful mixed salad.
I recommend finishing your dinner with their cantucci.

02/08/2025: For the quality of the sliced meat, I would give it 6 stars going to the checkout, but I can't understand how a green salad can cost 9 euros when a sliced meat costs 18. I repeat, the sliced meat deserved 23 euros too... so it would be more correct to then apply €4 for the salad.

14/07/2025: 2** er ikke meget, men det som ramte vores borde var, desværre ikke længere end til 2**. Den bedste servering var den ene forret, helt simpelt bruschetta, var gode, og så alligevel også lidt ærgerligt at der var hældt tørret oregano ud over. Pasta retterne var, en spøjs sammensætning. Under krydret, og i den ene ret et ubestemmeligt krydderi som gjorde at retten ikke hang sammen. På gulvet var det en lidt træt aften, vinen kom efter forretterne, der blev foreslået dessert inden hovedretterne (pasta) var serveret etc. Lokalets indretning er jo ejerens valg, men uha der var mange køleskabe i rummet, om det styrke det etiske det tror jeg man skal være køleskabe sælger for at syntes.

21/10/2025: Food and service were outstanding. Not to mention the stunning view. My husband and I went there for a coffee at first and the staff was so lovely we decided to go back for brunch. After that we went back for dinner. We just couldn't get enough of this place. We had a 3 weeks vacation driving around Italy and our experience at Terraza was definitely one of the highlights of the trip. The dinner we had was comparable to a Michelin star restaurant. Andrea and Nico were lovely and offered impeccable service. Looking forward to my next Lake Como trip.

10/09/2025: Beautiful hotel with quiet, spacious rooms. A venerable, well-renovated, well-maintained, and harmoniously furnished hotel. A beautiful garden with a terrace on the city walls offers views all the way to Lake Trasimeno.
Good breakfast buffet.
Mr. Seku took excellent care of everything.

I booked this hotel months ago for a trail race weekend. Now, just two weeks before my stay, they have cancelled my reservation with no explanation and no alternative.
My entire trip is already paid for—flights, race entry, and transport. Because of the race, everything in the area is now fully booked. They have left me stranded and ruined my plans.
You cannot trust this hotel. They clearly don't care about their customers. Do not book here if you actually need a place to stay.

31/07/2025: I usually try to choose places with a Google rating of 4.5 or higher for dinner because I don't have the time or energy to test the cuisines of touristy places.
We came here because it's on the main square and there was space between the tables on the far side. The drinks were good, the atmosphere was good, and we finally decided to go ahead and order. The food was delicious, fresh, and very flavorful. So, despite the Google ratings, we had a great time and it's great that we ended up staying. Our waiter was also very nice and fast (Falco). We left feeling full.
29/07/2025: We went there as a family, the pizza was very good, the staff very friendly and attentive. The place is perfect with the most beautiful views.

10/12/2025: An unpretentious osteria serving traditional Tuscan dishes, such as pici with wild boar ragù, liver, and rabbit in Brunello wine.
A homey atmosphere and friendly, welcoming staff.
The house wine and homemade tart were very good (it reminded me so much of the one my grandmother used to make when I was little!!!).
Good value for money.

27/07/2025: Apart from its prime location this place is just a tourist trap. No italian person working there. We had three different plates of pasta and they were tasteless. The tartufo in one plate was like eating a chewing gum. Totally disappointed! Will never go there another time.
23/07/2025: You can tell a lot about an establishment by their restroom. Unfortunately, we had already ordered when I saw the filth and stench. Our steak was pure fat, and the Tuscan soup was all bread. I asked for a box to take the food to our hotel because I felt bad wasting it, and the Romanian manager said it’s not possible. She was awful and rude. I’m only giving 2 stars because our Moroccan waiter was wonderful. There are so many wonderful real Italian restaurants in the Piazza, avoid this one!

14/10/2025: Servers are slow and just stand around talking and ignore multiple tables who are wanting to order. Drinks are more expensive and not as good as nearby restaurants. Cant recommend, waste of money and time due to slow servers
10/10/2025: The service at this place is terrible. We went for dinner because we were staying at the hotel and there weren't many options available. They served us horribly; they refused to clean the table we chose. They waited on us in a hurry, and we spent almost 80 euros on two plates of pasta and two plates of baked potatoes for four people, two wines, and some soft drinks. I don't recommend it.

02/03/2025: Restaurante fantástico em Montepulciano. Fui com família, comida e atendimento fantásticos. Carta de vinhos boa e alguns de produção familiar, excelentes por sinal.
16/02/2025: Abbiano pranzato oggi 16 febbraio , location molto bella , e cibo ottimo , pici al ragù di chianina consigliatissimi idem il tagliere di salumi formaggi e cantucci e vin santo , personale gentilissimo e molto cordiale chapeau
