02/08/2024: More than the inn, I think the whole village is very beautiful to visit, with the narrow streets that branch out like a labyrinth between the houses. Many panoramic points and welcoming benches for a moment of relaxation. Although certainly not by road, it is worth going even on the road that passes between hills and cultivated fields. It is not a place for mass tourism and perhaps there is not a series of shops selling souvenirs, but you can breathe an air of times gone by. Advised

18/07/2024: How do they do it?! This little place in a tiny village managed to be one of my groups absolute favorite dinners during our week in Tuscany. The setting in Castelmuzio on the piazza is charming, quintessential small town Italy. The servers are great. And the food is excellent quality. We highly recommend their ragu bianco and tender handmade pastas. The pork roast was fantastic, along with the crispy roasted potatoes… all perfectly seasoned. Their homemade desserts are also fabulous. Nothing’s fancy, but it all manages to taste delicious. The house wines are enjoyable (the white was surprising) and a good value. A fun quirk of this location is when the church bells begin to ring at 8 pm… there are three dueling campanile and the ringing goes on and on and on until everyone begins to laugh. A wonderful spot, worth a drive even if you’re staying a few towns over. (Be sure and arrive 30+ minutes early so you can stroll through the tiny village before dinner, and enjoy the views toward Pienza and Santa Anna from up Borgo Salotto.

18/08/2024: The kindness and courtesy of the owners is striking, as well as obviously the quality of the products and the goodness of the dishes, highly recommended, the best restaurant in Chiusi and surrounding areas!

18/08/2024: The food is very good, the pici are recommended, the wine is of good quality and the atmosphere downstairs is very nice. Only the service was a little slow, but still the staff was courteous and welcoming.

20/08/2024: We went in after booking because of the many positive reviews. Unfortunately, as there was no room outside, they let us sit inside, but the heat was unbearable for me, after a quick look at the menu and seeing that for a 66cl Moretti they were asking €7. we're gone. The kind waiter offered to keep us 2 tables outside, but in the end we opted for something else...

18/08/2024: The pilgrim's menu caught my attention and in between, the truffle pasta was good but a little dry, but I didn't like the margherita pizza at all, it didn't have much chichi, to be honest. The lady who served me was a little dry and what made me feel the worst was that they would charge me €5 for a bottle of beer. I wouldn't go back.

11/08/2024: I have 2 most wonderful weeks in Italy! My experience tonight in this restaurant was the worst of my trip! Most unfriendly and unhelpful staff. Had to ask for everything 2-3 times. The food was really bad! How do you NOT get spaghetti carbonara right?? (at 15 Euro). Spaghetti was undercooked and half of the dish was garlic! Super expensive and super bad! WITH a 6 Euro service fee for NO service!

18/08/2024: The taste of the food is good but the quality of the meat is bad. For a sirloin a lot of fat and hard parts that you couldn't chew.

14/08/2024: Meeeega! It's a bit inconspicuous, but really good! We came spontaneously with our dog and were welcomed very friendly! Everything was looked after perfectly and the food and drinks were extremely great! Thank you very much for this beautiful and pleasant evening!

12/08/2024: Family dinner after a long day spent visiting enchanting places...arrived, we take a seat (4 people) and order. 3 pizzas and a grilled cockerel (actually half a cockerel, but not specified on the menu). The wrong pizza arrives at the table compared to the request, but we accept the cockerel, instead, completely raw inside (red and pink), burnt on the outside, with the accompanying roast potatoes, very salty and inedible. After having informed the waiter of the uncooked dish, we were told: "yes, it is a little raw" and then added "yes, it is very raw in fact". The dish is taken away, without a word of apology and without saying whether they would have made it again or brought something different. After 10 minutes of waiting, the SAME cockerel is brought back to us, slightly cooked, without a bit of respect, dare I say, towards the customer, who at the very least expects a remade dish. The dish remained imaginable. They tried to offer a tiramisu as an excuse to a person who unfortunately cannot consume sugar. Not recommended experience, due to complete lack of attention to the customer. Ps: Wrong account. We ordered 2 liters of water. After being told that there were no liter bottles, we agreed to take 4 half liter bottles. The bill included 4 1 liter bottles.

16/08/2024: A little outside of the tourist flow, you can enjoy authentic dishes here from the locals. The menu is small but nice and the host is a very friendly guy.

23/07/2024: Wir waren spontan zum Abendessen und waren etwas erstaunt, da kaum etwas los war. Waren jedoch sehr zufrieden. Der Service war freundlich. Die Pizza war super. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis top.

29/06/2024: Volevamo pranzare con amici nei pressi di radda e ci siamo imbattuti casualmente in questo ristorante che rimane alle porte del paese. Appena entrati abbiamo subito respirato l’aria di casa, i proprietari (marito e moglie) che gestiscono il locale si dividono fra sala e cucina, quindi tutto ciò che cucinano viene fatto in casa, e si sente, il cibo è veramente ottimo con specialità che non si trovano facilmente negli altri ristoranti,oltretutto hanno anche una buona scelta di vini, da provare il giuggiolo un amaro tipico!rapporto qualità prezzo ottima!esperienza fantastica! ci torneremo!! Grazie dai valdarnotti!!

17/06/2024: Un piccolo gioiello nel Chianti, un'osteria curata in ogni dettaglio, che segue l'architettura del luogo. Ad accoglierci c'è Aldo, che con gentilezza e saggezza ci consiglia i piatti migliori e il vino da abbinare. Provate due riserve Chianti notevoli. I piatti sono a dir poco stratosferici. Racchiudono l'Italia che fa invidia al mondo. Un mix di semplicità ed eccellenza, di cibo che non trovi più, di sapori autentici. La mia vacanza é appena iniziata, ma io e la mia famiglia abbiamo già dato un senso a questi giorni, con una cena strabiliate. PS. Andiamo via sabato, abbiamo già prenotato per l'ultima sera qui, per provare la seconda metà del menù che ci manca.

22/07/2024: The restaurant at La Chuisa was amazing! The breakfast is not extensive, but has a variety of foods. Only hot food was scrambled eggs on request. Lovely sweets and fresh fruit. We had a couple of dinners here and the food was delicious. Pastas were tasty and nice desserts. We were here for our daughter's wedding. Special thanks to Laurene, who was knowledgeable, friendly and took care of all our food and wine needs and was very patient! Also, Christian and Sara were very helpful.

10/07/2024: My daughter's wedding at La Chiusa was a dream come true! If you are worried about a language barrier, fear not, as the staff speaks English beautifully and they are attuned to your needs and eager to make your every wish come true. Special thanks go to our on-site coordinator, Francesca, whose warmth, efficiency, and advice were priceless. The setting, the vistas, the food and wine were all delightful and they surpassed our high standards and expectations. If the thought of planning a wedding far from home seems daunting, rest assured that our three day wedding weekend went perfectly according to plan and each and every guest fell in love with Tuscany and the hospitality that was so generously offered. We literally cried when we had to leave this amazing villa and we all made a pact to return soon. Five stars cannot even express our true delight with La Chiusa.
