18/05/2026: Wow, really enjoyed our dinner at Il Frantoio a few days ago. Well priced, excited dishes and perfect service. Worth being noticed in the Michelin guide.

07/05/2026: Amazing dining experience in Colle. From the very first greeting, the menu and super extensive wine list walkthrough - we felt welcome. We chose from the a la carte menu, with chicken liver pate and ox tongue as appetizers (the paté is amazing!), then moved to smoked spaghetti, fava bean risotto with smoked trout and then pork loin. There wasn’t a single dish that was short of amazing. The wine list was a bit intimidating with bottles ranging from 25 to 900 EUR but the lovely guy who welcomed us also helped with the wine choice- and it was great. Warmly recommended!

The cuisine offers traditional Tuscan and Mediterranean dishes, with a focus on local, seasonal ingredients, such as handmade pici, soups, ravioli, and quality meat dishes, along with a well-selected wine cellar.

25/12/2025: I visited a winery hotel in Italy for my honeymoon. I'd definitely return. They gave me a bottle of wine as a welcome drink. I thought it was cheap, but even I'm not a wine connoisseur, and it was so delicious I'm buying it again!

20/07/2026: A dive into the 70s and 80s. Lots of memorabilia here and there. Even vintage waiters with white jackets and a style you can't find anymore! Convenient as a stop on long journeys, just outside Chiusi. Rooms are also available. Lunch: extensive menu featuring grilled meats and pici. Good dishes, modest portions, slightly high prices. Good gluten-free options. I expected better.

17/07/2026: We stopped halfway through our trip in Chiusi at this vintage restaurant, meticulously maintained. The atmosphere was truly charming and clean, and the food was top-notch. The Tuscan cured meats were truly excellent. The price was right: a platter for two was €26. I don't think stopping at Autogrill is worth it anymore, given the dramatically increased prices and the poor food. I recommend making a reservation because it's well-known. We stopped on a Tuesday evening, and the place was almost full.

02/05/2026: An enchanting place nestled in the Chianti vineyards, wonderful and knowledgeable people who convey all their love and passion for what they do. We had the opportunity to discover their cellars and taste their wines, and what can I say, 5-star quality, we will definitely be back...

28/07/2026: Fantastic restaurant with excellent staff. We had a wonderful dinner in a place with incredible history. If you're in Siena, it's a must-try.

27/07/2026: We really wanted to visit the restaurant and, to be honest, it was a disappointment. When we arrived, the woman at the entrance was talking on the phone. We waited 10 minutes until her mother came to ask who she was talking to (she hadn't even looked at us to tell us to wait) and it turns out... she was talking to the dentist! Once inside (the place is incredibly beautiful), the waitress served us very well, but between the first and second courses we waited 25 minutes. On top of that, since they close at 3pm, we had to run with the coffee, everyone was already picking up and they had stopped the music. We understand that they have their own schedule but we were late because the dishes took a long time to arrive. In fact, they brought us the bill without asking for it. And, finally, the price seemed excessive to us, each glass of wine, for example, cost €12... The restaurant looked very good but our experience was not what we expected.

06/05/2026: The epitome of a village pub! A village pub, pizzeria, trattoria all rolled into one, combined with warmth, enthusiasm, and (in modern parlance) authenticity. The pizza is fantastic! We used to go there just for that, but everything else is delicious too. They have a wine selection; we stuck to the house wine and draft beer, plus some local specialties. It's just like you remember and hope for from back in the day. Wonderful!

03/05/2026: The atmosphere, food, and staff were exceptional!! We stopped for a Sunday lunch on our way home from the beach. Excellent grandmother's cooking, along with the kind and friendly staff!! It will be a regular stop on our beach trips. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to relax and eat well :) just like at home!

02/06/2026: A beautiful place where we can eat pizza, fish, and meat. It's suitable for all tastes. We dined on the terrace veranda, which is very welcoming. Fast and impeccable service, attentive and friendly staff. We had very good gluten-free pizzas, with a soft dough, including the crust. I personally prefer a thin pizza, but it's still good. Excellent gluten-free draft beer. The restaurant is located on the first floor but accessible to all with an elevator. Dogs are welcome, and there's plenty of parking. Congratulations! Next time I want to try the fish because the aroma was amazing.

03/05/2026: I had a truly pleasant stay at this hotel, located in the heart of Montalcino, a perfect spot for exploring the village and soaking up the unique atmosphere. I felt welcomed from the moment I arrived: the property is well-maintained, clean, and offers a relaxing atmosphere. An added bonus was definitely the hotel restaurant: I had the pleasure of dining there and was truly impressed. The cuisine is exquisite, with carefully prepared dishes using quality ingredients. Each course was beautifully presented and rich in flavor. The staff was always friendly and helpful, helping make the experience even more positive. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, an excellent location in the heart of Montalcino, and an excellent culinary experience.

07/06/2026: A little gem in Bagni San Filippo that we happened across for lunch. The service is great, the pizza and pasta is delicious and really reasonably priced, the cans of coke were icy cold, and same with the water. We sat outside and couldn't smell the sulphur from the local hot springs. 5* 🥰

09/06/2026: This place could use a good refresh, as the spaces and rooms clearly reflect the passing of time. The furnishings are dated, and the rooms now look run-down. At the spa, where silence is required and smoking is prohibited, a lady entertained us for HOURS by talking at the top of her voice on her cell phone, using the speakerphone. After all the guests had waited too long, the staff was called, but they were unable to silence the aforementioned "lady." Instead, with uncontrollable rudeness, she attacked everyone present with tantrums and sarcasm. We had to leave the common areas, as it was impossible to experience the peace and quiet we had come for, and unfortunately, the staff failed to enforce the rules the facility itself has imposed. In fact, the lady remained blissfully in the pool, disturbing everyone's tranquility, taunting anyone who criticized her. Meanwhile, her husband was happily smoking in the space where the NO SMOKING SIGN kept the other (useless) silence company. We had to forgo some healthy relaxation (which comes at a high price), and unfortunately, our short vacation, which was intended for just that, was ruined. In the square in front of the entrance, we also saw children playing ball, and frankly, it didn't seem like a suitable environment for such an activity. If you're looking for peace and relaxation, I sincerely advise against it. It's a shame because the place has a truly remarkable view, and the spa staff were truly professional.

07/06/2026: Fantastic experience. From the moment you walk through the elegant gates, you'll realize that every guest is at the center of attention here. Plenty of pampering and attention make your stay magical. Every member of the staff works to make your holiday special and feels truly at home here. The treatments available are cutting-edge. I personally had the intensive biocast, and it was truly exceptional. A tangible result, in addition to the health benefits. Giulia, the person in charge of the treatment, was superb, gentle, and an excellent professional. We will definitely return to enjoy this paradise again.

26/03/2026: A truly pleasant place on the main road; we found it by chance. Good food made with quality ingredients and great attention to detail. Friendly, attentive service with very detailed explanations. We'll be back.
