21/02/2026: A quaint restaurant with a very pleasant atmosphere, just steps from the historic center. The owner is very friendly and the prices are very reasonable. Traditional Tuscan food (Cinta Senese, wild boar, acqua cotta, pici, etc.) is well-cooked, flavorful, and the portions are generous.

26/12/2025: A lucky find, since not many restaurants are open on Christmas Eve. The atmosphere was a bit subdued, perhaps because we were the only customers. The English translation of the menu was incorrect, and what we wanted to order was either not available or simply not on the menu. Wine prices were only listed per bottle.
In the end, we ordered three portions of pisi with duck ragu—the food was delicious! All's well that ends well!
05/11/2025: This is a must-visit in the area. The food is FANTASIC and the owner is one of a kind. It was our son's birthday and she really made sure he had an extra special evening! This was one of the absolute highlights of our trip. Outstanding!

The price is fair for the quality and abundance of the dishes. A true inn where you can relish tradition. We'll be back soon!

19/10/2025: This is a small, quaint restaurant in the center of town; there are only a few tables and a few dishes, but that's a good thing because you can enjoy good traditional Tuscan food away from the hustle and bustle. The dishes are well-prepared, the portions are moderate, the service is attentive, and the prices are quite high.

08/12/2025: I had the opportunity to dine at this restaurant, opting for the tasting menu. The atmosphere is warm and pleasant. The service, while generally good, could benefit from some improvement. The food, however, was impeccable.
The only negative note concerns the wine tasting. First, there was no selection of wines to pair with the dishes on the tasting menu. The selection of local wines was irrelevant and, in my opinion, overpriced for the quality of the wines offered. The tasting of older Brunello vintages also seemed excessively expensive and, perhaps, superfluous.
The glasses of wine were too expensive.
13/09/2025: The best of the best! Come hungry and adventurous. The staff and the chef were absolutely wonderful. The chef came out to our table 3 times and said goodbye to us out to our car. It was so sweet!

06/02/2026: The phone "welcome" was shameful. I just wanted to inquire about the set menu for February 14th, and I was met with an arrogance unheard of in the favelas of Salvador da Bahia.
I was treated with disdain for asking for dishes on the set menu (due to dietary restrictions) and was told "appetizer, first course, and second course." Captain obviously thanked me.
After asking when I could find out what was on the menu, maintaining the most polite tone despite the staff's complete disrespect, I was "advised" to cancel the reservation without further ado.
Given the professionalism below the slums and the utter ignorance toward two potential customers, I remain certain that I will take my money to other businesses in Magliano.
23/11/2025: Family lunch in an extraordinary location. This "family" restaurant is located just outside the entrance gates of a medieval village in the Maremma region, fortified by walls. We had a wonderful meal, chatted with the owner, and enjoyed the attentive and professional staff. Traditional menu, top-quality ingredients. We'll be back!

We spent New Year's Eve at this delightful restaurant and were enchanted by the attention to detail in every way. Usually, there's a high risk of disappointment at these special events... that didn't happen to us! The menu was exceptional and refined. The dishes, besides being excellent, looked like paintings. The atmosphere was beautiful: soft lighting, pleasant background music, and a wonderful fireplace. The service was impeccable, the staff welcoming, extremely kind, and attentive. The price was fair. Everything demonstrates the care and commitment of those who love their profession.
We hope to return to Tuscany soon and will definitely return to La Solina!

01/01/2026: This is probably one of my most favorite restaurants in all of Italy! Grandmother and mother in the kitchen. The younger generation out front. You won't get a better home cooked meal in all of Italy! The food is so good, you need to eat in silence and reflect on life! I'm not joking! My soul has never been fed so well and I lose all ability to communicate with others. This place is cozy, intimate, and the food is the best you can find. If it's out of your way, still take the time to try it! You won't be disappointed!!

11/01/2026: "Don't go there under any circumstances!!!" - you might want to shout, because this trattoria should remain a hidden gem! But since we also want others to enjoy good food: The food here is simply incredible 😍 We completely abandoned our New Year's resolutions in light of the exquisitely crafted dishes. From the mixed appetizer by Zia Catia, the fluffy ricotta gnocchi, the Provençal-style pork tenderloin (to die for!), to the incredibly delicious desserts (yes...we had three and don't regret a thing), everything was absolutely perfect! We will definitely be back!
06/09/2025: Very pleasant place, with friendly, but not always attentive, service. The food, prepared with local ingredients, offers some truly excellent dishes, while others are a bit disappointing... and the prices are fair. We'll definitely be back to try other dishes and perhaps change our opinion.
