A cozy, authentic Italian restaurant set in the historic and charming town of Magliano. The staff were kind and welcoming, and although they didn’t speak English, the service was warm and pleasant. The food is delicious and truly traditional.
Opening hours may not always match what’s listed on Google Maps, so it’s worth calling ahead to avoid disappointment.

Dinner in a typical Tuscan trattoria with excellent traditional dishes, the fried artichokes were sublime as was the tagliatina with Colonnata lard, a delicacy... kind, cordial and attentive service, compliments to all the staff

We always return to Sandra's with great pleasure. Every time we return, she has a pleasant surprise in store. In the kitchen, Sandra and her staff prepare excellent, freshly made dishes, while in the dining room, the staff is always knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Magliano in Toscana is in the heart of the Maremma Grossetana, and this is a long-established trattoria with solid principles: traditional, good, and simple cuisine, served with generous portions. And that's how it has remained, to this day. Located in the town center, on Corso Garibaldi, which means parking in one of the many free parking lots and walking a short distance within the restricted traffic zone. Terracotta floors, exposed beam ceilings. Courteous and attentive service, trattoria-style prices—meaning they're affordable—even for the wines (and this is becoming the exception, I say this as a wine wholesaler...). The Morellino is obviously the star, but the selection is more than adequate for the type of establishment.

Excellent experience. The appetizers were truly delicious and generous, featuring typical local products. Maremma cuisine was well-prepared and carefully prepared. The restaurant is welcoming and the staff are friendly. If you're passing through Magliano in Toscana, it's definitely worth a stop.

Family lunch in an extraordinary location. This "family" restaurant is located just outside the entrance gates of a medieval village in the Maremma region, fortified by walls. We had a wonderful meal, chatted with the owner, and enjoyed the attentive and professional staff. Traditional menu, top-quality ingredients. We'll be back!
