01/09/2025: I'm returning to my room delighted by the flavors of this restaurant, with its historic and elegant location and fantastic food quality. The tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms deserves an A+... the truffle ravioli is equally impressive... the owner is friendly and knowledgeable... 5 stars.

29/07/2025: In the historic center of Pitigliano, in one of the town's most charming squares, this restaurant combines sophistication and authentic flavors. The extensive menu offers traditional recipes such as tagliatelle with pigeon and stuffed pigeon, which we thoroughly enjoyed, as well as the house red wine. The service is professional and attentive. Waiting times are reasonable. Prices are high, but in keeping with the quality offered.

18/08/2025: Family pizza dinner. We weren't very happy with the selection, nor with the pizzas themselves, which weren't very tasty. The cheesecake was truly disappointing. We won't be back.

16/08/2025: My husband and I ate fish-based dishes... good even if the prices are a bit high... negative note: they took away the lamp that was on our table to give it to people they knew...

22/07/2025: We visited Da Mario's restaurant on the recommendation of our guesthouse. The small terrace in the courtyard immediately appealed to us. There's an English menu. The staff themselves don't speak English, which made communication a bit difficult. The food was delicious and we were very satisfied. Therefore, we can't understand some of the negative reviews.

02/07/2025: The restaurant is worth it for the food: very good meat, well cooked and brought on a grill that keeps it warm. The environment and service are spartan but it doesn't matter

15/07/2025: Very good food, mostly seafood. Friendly service, and a central yet quiet location. Definitely worth stopping by for a tasty dinner.

12/04/2025: Buonasera, sono stata a mangiare in questo ristorante con un’amica. Abbiamo trovato la location calda e accogliente, personale cordiale e simpatico…nulla da reclamare. Cibo ottimo: abbiamo ordinato un antipasto per due che offriva diverse specialità di mare e a seguire un primo di scampi veramente ottimo. La scelta dei dolci non di nostro gradimento ma questa è solo un’opinione personale!!!! Il prezzo abbordabile… Consiglio questo locale a tutti.

02/08/2025: Lo Sconciglio is a nice fish restaurant in the middle of the square in front of the old harbour in Porto Santo Stefano. At start the general waiter was a bit too pushy to let us choose from the menu and fresh whole fish. He said because otherwise our children would have to wait long for their pasta. I think it had other reasons. Later it became more relaxed and we had a lovely evening. The ambiance on the terrace is good and in mid-summer very lively with artists performing on stage very nearby. Don't mind the plastic terrace chairs that's just typical Italian. The kids had enough room to play on the field next to the terrace. They put water on the table we didn't ask for, be clear if you don't want any of it. For children there is only fanta or coca-cola to choose. We had the local Ansonica white wine, which is a darker white wine and quite heavy but delicious. The bruschetta al pomodoro wasn't really special. I think there are tomatoes with more taste. I'd recommend the spaghetti alla vongole and the gamberoni in padella. The padella is delicious (use the bread to empty the plate!). We had limoncello 🍋 and a cafe before some Gelato in the direct neighborhood. Would recommend this fish restaurant but be clear that you're not in a hurry 😎

01/08/2025: Really very average considering 🙈 what I was advised.... Disappointed 😞 As a Swiss chef who has worked in 3 Michelin ☆ restaurants... And even without that... No one can fool me!!! You really need to question yourself ❓️ ❓️ ❓️ ABE... Once and certainly not twice, sorry.

18/08/2025: It didn't meet my expectations; I expected much better from what I'd heard. There's no love or even passion, in my opinion, either in the kitchen or in the dining room. Rather than a restaurant, I'd say it's a resale shop selling overpriced food. In my experience, I've noticed many mistakes, even trivial ones, dishes that aren't beautiful to look at, much less exciting to the palate; a dish sold for €21 has to be delicious to look at, and the ingredients have to be treated and showcased perfectly. What a shame.

16/08/2025: A good restaurant, good food, good service, fast enough to enjoy the dishes without getting bored, a cool place, at the top of the village, with a splendid view. In short, a restaurant like "once upon a time," without QR code menus and other nonsense. Maybe the lady at the reception/cash register could smile a little, but it's a good place.

12/08/2025: I can only say that the lack of bread in a restaurant is embarrassing. Terrible food. Very poor service from the owner.

11/08/2025: A terrible experience: days-old bread, creamy chickpea soup that tasted only of garlic, and bland pasta with shrimp and cuttlefish. But the owner and his "friendliness" were the restaurant's only real downside. I strongly advise against going for dinner.
