04/06/2025: A phenomenal insider tip: pizza, pasta, fish, and mussels were all excellent! Almost exclusively local guests when we were there. Very fair prices, great wines – we already miss the food.

12/05/2025: Excellent food, both meat and fish, informal but pleasant environment, friendly and fast service. Prices normal. We went back twice!!!

01/06/2025: Very high quality. However, if I order octopus with olives and potatoes and I get octopus on potato cream and 1 (and I mean literally 1) olive, I feel like I'm being made fun of.

31/05/2025: It will be Saturday...it will be the second shift...but unfortunately my high expectations have been ruined.. I found approximate service (I'm still waiting for the bread) and anonymous cuisine. The preparations for the padellata and the caccico were the same (in white and red versions)..and in the cacciucco two small pieces of fish. Lampredotto of octopus also decent but anonymous. Obviously.. strange case at the bill..no one asked how it went.... And I repeat the most regretful is me....if I had not read the other reviews and the pompous self-presentation I would have said that I had been in the most classic of tourist restaurants

09/05/2025: Terrible... called to book for dinner 4 or 5 days before in anticipation of a trip out of town to Pitigliano... We arrive there and find the place closed... We called to ask for explanations and were told that they hadn't opened because they hadn't booked or in any case the reservation had been lost. Compliments!!! Nothing like this has ever happened!! It may be okay not to open for a few booked people, but it would have been better to have been notified in advance so that we could organize differently..

02/05/2025: Family atmosphere... host who makes you feel at ease... and then the best spaghetti allo scoglio ever eaten. Will be back...soon.

04/06/2025: Siamo capitati per caso a pranzo visitando scansano, la pozione è spettacolare, terrazza al fresco e in ombra, personale preparato attento e accogliente! Cibo ( fiorentina) ottimo! Buon rapporto qualità prezzo!

21/05/2025: The truffle pasta wasn't good, the TV was on full blast, and the place felt uncomfortably crowded. The sausage machine needs cleaning. The server was nice, and the food came quickly. The cellar has potential.

23/04/2025: Despite our delay we were welcomed impeccably and this can never be taken for granted. We were very satisfied with the quality of the products, but above all with the location and the dining room staff who pampered us for the entire duration of our lunch. We'll be back!

20/05/2025: Ci ha letteralmente salvato la serata, dopo essere arrivati stanchi dal viaggio e senza prenotazione ci hanno accolto con cortesia e un bel sorriso che non guastano mai. La location e' piacevolissima, pacata, conserva un'atmosfera semplice e fine al contempo. La tavola e le portate erano curate elegantemente in ogni dettaglio. Le pietanze superlative cucinate divinamente con una giusta varietà di scelta per ogni palato e un ottima qualità di vini. Le porzioni e l'impiattamento impeccabile rendono giustizia al rapporto di qualità e prezzo. Tornerei a Pitigliano solo per cenare li di nuovo, i miei migliori complimenti allo staff. Grazie per la bellissima serata, complimenti vivissimi!

29/09/2024: Waited almost an hour for a sautéed mussels and another very sad seafood appetizer that tasted like chickpeas. The mussels had a heavy rotten smell, despite the prior request about their quality. And what can I say... in the room there was only one other table with a couple of people who arrived after us who were having dessert while we were being served the appetizer. Then a seafood spaghetti always with chickpea flavor and a fried food like you wouldn't expect it even if reheated in the microwave after a week in the refrigerator... two glasses of wine and... when you spend over 40 euros per person you expect a good quality dinner, in short... a big cruise

19/09/2024: Ristorante centralissimo a Marina di Grosseto, in via tranquilla e ventilata. Perfetto per una cena in coppia ma anche fra amici! Sono stata ad agosto con il mio compagno e poi sono tornata moltissime volte portando amici. Si può cenare all' aperto su di un plateatico in legno. Bellissimo e in estate fresco e pieno di piante. Il pesce è freschissimo e la pasta fatta in casa è deliziosa. Ci torno sempre quando passo da Marina.

18/05/2025: I have been working in the restaurant business for almost ten years now and among the various fish restaurants in the area that I have tried this is one of the best. Excellent fish quality, fantastic list of Vermentino wines, tables facing the sea, extremely quiet location.

10/05/2025: Quality raw materials and an intimate and convivial restaurant. Osteria Orlano is truly a gem in SantoStefano. Intimate, welcoming and with fresh, quality fish. The frying is not greasy in the slightest but remains very crispy and very light (for what frying can be of course). We had an appetizer (the delicious roasted octopus served with purple potatoes) and a fried dish, spending €40 each. For posterity the arduous sentence, for me... everything exquisite. My body has filled up with omega 3, my palate with dishes satisfying for the eye and the stomach. Highly recommended!
