La Casa Rossa In Castiglione della pescaia

A five-star seafood restaurant. I recommend it.

A slightly secluded spot from the center of Castiglione della Pescaia, the food is excellent, with very tasty dishes and generous portions. A good selection of wines and excellent value. We'll be back to try what we missed. Recommended.

Very friendly service; reservations are recommended. We didn't have one, but thanks to luck and the server's skill, we still managed to get a table for two on the terrace. ;) The fish is highly recommended; the ravioli nero were fantastic, and the spaghetti fruitti di mare was equally delicious. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!

I went there for the first time, on the recommendation of an acquaintance, and I was right. In my opinion, it's one of the restaurants where I've ever eaten fresh, delicious fish. We've been back twice more. I think we'll be back every time we're in Castiglione della Pescaia. As for the noise, I can say that if all the diners, with or without children (these included), are well-behaved, the noise is negligible. As for parking, you might think you can find it by driving around, going to the parking lot where they have the market on Saturdays. However, those who frequent Castiglione know that finding a parking spot near the place we'd like to eat is purely down to luck, so it's not this restaurant's fault, you know. It's still worth the extra walk to eat.

What can I say? A pleasant discovery, excellent food combined with the courtesy and friendliness of the staff. I recommend it and will return. The price is right for the very good quality.

Small but excellent restaurant. Fish is the star dish here and highly recommended. We tried several restaurants in the city center, and "La Casa Rossa" more than holds its own against them!
