This was one of the best meals we had in Tuscany. It was prepared with passion, the menu is a work of art an the service was professional yet personable. The two things that puzzled us where how this place does not have a Michelin star and why it was not packed with people. The reason for the latter is probaly that it is located in a very nice, but sleepy village and people simply do not know about it. Which in a way made it even more special.

My husband and I decided to hike to the village Roccatederighi and unexpectedly found this restaurant open. The owner greeted us warmly; he was in a great mood. We had an incredible gastronomic and aesthetic experience. What was especially magical for us was that we were the only guests at that hour. I think that was just pure luck for us. The dishes were exquisite; I felt like I was in a movie. The restaurant also has a large selection of local wines.
